Finding yourself is all a part of life, and Della McGregor is finally happy with who she has become, even though she’s still missing something. She’s learned along the way that life isn’t always a perfect love story, but she may have missed her one shot at it. Unforeseen events might just stop that from happening. Justin Parker is done with the whole love thing, Della made sure of that. Old habits are hard to break, and his world is tilted on its side when dealing with the chaos. Is their love strong enough to find their way back to each other, or will their paths lead elsewhere? Twisted Bliss is the follow up to Chaotic, Book #1 of the Imperfect Perfection series.
C.A. Williams lives in Michigan and is married to her high school sweetheart. While being a stay at home to her three little ones, she likes to read and write, in between cleaning up messes and being a short order cook. Visit her author page: https://www.facebook.com/authorcawill...
I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for this book. I am a huge fan of CA Williams and her books. After reading Chaotic, I needed to know what was going to happen next, who would Della end up with Nash or Justin. I definitely had my side and never strayed or switched teams.
Twisted Bliss takes up a little after where Chaotic left off. Justin betrayed Della's trust and she left him. However she has hope that things may work out. Nash is stuck with a pregnant Mariah but he still has more than friendly feelings toward Della. Who will Della end up with? The bad boy turned HOT cop (yes Justin in a uniform, yummy), the best friend boy next door, or maybe someone new? The author keeps us guessing all the way to the end.
I love the supporting characters in this book too. We get a little more of there stories and futures in this book. Specifically Mia grew on me, but there were time I definitely wanted to hurt her!!!! Mia may also get her own love interest!!!
There are some HOT and STEAMY scenes in this book. CA Williams can definitely write a sex scene, with just the right amount of description. This book had some twists and turns, some parts I couldn't believe that happened. I loved this book and am a huge Della fan. The book had a different ending and I loved it and how the author handled it. I can't wait to see what CA Williams has in store for us next!!
***This arc was given in return for an honest review***
Twisted Bliss is the second book in the Imperfection series. The title is perfect for this story. Holy crap! Can we say drama! Yeah! My emotions were all over the fricken place with both books.
Della was always used to getting all the attention. Always having everything she wanted. But things changed really fast. She had to grow up. Learn that everything isn't always going to just fall at her feet. She moves, reconnects with a childhood friend Nash. And things start to change again. She meets Justin....my new book boyfriend. Oh dear he is yummy! The drama this girl has around her is just crazy! One thing after another. Makes for a great story. I was glued to both books. She met some new friends leaving the snobby ones behind. Callie and Zoe were awesome. Two perfect great friends. Mia here step sister on the other hand what a bitch! I hate Mia! Total villain. Oh and Della's mom!!!! Don't get me started with that money hungry....ok I'll be nice and stop there. There's my review, short and sweet. A lot of shit happens...trust me.
Anyways...go get your copy of Chaotic and Twisted bliss and sit back and read all the great drama and yummy sex this series has to offer. Loved it. Definitely going to be reading more of C.A. Williams' books. Thanks girl you know how to keep us glued.
Della and Justin throw in a little Nash and Della’s family and you have complete chaos. It’s no wonder that Della was so unsure about so much through the series. Even when she knew she was in love with Justin, the one that you never would have expected. I seriously thought when I started reading this series that it was a story about her reconnecting with her old friend Nash when being sent to live with her Grandparents. But boy was I wrong. In comes Justin and Della’s life is completely changed. She found her heart, she found that she could love and wanted to change the path her life was on. In that same moment I have never met a group of people who had anything and everything happen to them to stop the good from happening.
When I first met Justin Parker in Chaotic I wasn’t sure if I liked him at all. He was cocky, self assured and too much of a playboy but in the same breath he was sexy, hot and self assured. Funny how that all works right. I loved that Justin Parker actually gave Della a little bit of normalcy and got her to see that there was more to life than just squeaking by and had her want for me in her life. It was great to see her fall in love with him and get past all the baggage of her past life and indiscretions. Her relationship with her Mother was hard to swallow. I had such a hard time coming to grips with a mom that was simply that cold and calculated and a father that wasn’t really involved her in life.
Twisted Bliss closed a lot of open wounds, helped Della find closure in so much of her past and create her future. Her relationship with Justin was so chaotic that you had to wonder through it all if they would make it and even till the very end you wondered and worried. I was very sad to see what happened to Nash and Mariah’s relationship, more for Nash and his loss. I hope that there is a follow up book about Nash in our future.
The entire series was a great read; I thoroughly enjoyed the life and tribulations of Della and her chaotic life. I was so happy to see some happily ever afters for Della and her friends! I think it was extremely important to see that people can change and CA Williams showed us that completely.
I fell in love with Justin and Della’s relationship and loved how it all transpired. Nothing was perfect but it ended in perfection!! Great job CA Williams on a wonderful love story!!!
Check it out…you won’t be disappointed!
C.A. Williams is the author of The Journey Series, Full Count, Imperfect Perfection Series, and The Crush; all of the New Adult Genre. When she's not busy typing away at a new book, she's also trying to juggle three little ones. Living the dream!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Twisted Bliss is book #2, and the final book in C.A. Williams Imperfect Perfection series. For that reason, I’m also going to include some of my thoughts on the series overall.
I had trouble getting into the first book, Chaotic, because I really didn’t like Della at first. She initially came off as spoiled, selfish, and mean. Oh, and her friends, Marley and Madison? Yikes! I could not imagine reading an entire book with them in the forefront. I want to take a moment to give praise to C.A. Williams for her talent in writing characters that are able to elicit such an emotional response from me as a reader. This was true throughout both books, and I do love a well-written character. Luckily, Della changed quite a bit after her move to North Carolina, and her mean girl friends were mostly out of the picture.
Twisted Bliss picks up where Chaotic leaves off in Della’s life. She is still dealing with her complicated feelings for Nash and Justin. More twists and turns are thrown her way, including her rebellious stepsister Mia. I had trouble putting the book down at some points and at others I felt it lagged a little. I believe the points that lagged had to do with my frustration with the misunderstandings between Della and Justin. It just seemed that they should have learned their lesson by that point. Still, I loved Justin! He had that sexy bad boy quality, but he was a good guy at heart. Definitely good book boyfriend material.
I am still torn on whether I am upset with the way that the ending was written, or loved it. Without giving too much away, I did find myself almost in tears when I first started reading the epilogue. By the final page, I was satisfied with the way that things ended. I cannot decide if I preferred Della’s recollection of how things played out, or if I would have preferred a few more chapters to bring things together. Overall, I enjoyed Twisted Bliss more than Chaotic. While I felt that Chaotic was a 3.5 star read, Twisted Bliss easily gets 4 stars from me. If you are in the mood for a new adult romance, then this series is definitely worth picking up.
I had the pleasure of reading Chaotic and the title certainly fit the book. It was very chaotic, but you did have a good connection with the characters and the steamy scenes added to its interest.
In the second book of the series we find Della still waiting for Justin to return to her. Waiting for her happy, Hollywood movie return to his arms, but life for Della has never been a fairytale. Mia is still a pain in the neck but little by little we are introduced to Mia's POV and why she is the way she is. We come to love her a little more and I am hoping there may be a spin off for Mia.
Nash makes his appearance as well with his pregnant girlfriend Mariah. Mariah doesn't exactly like how Nash and Della are still friends, but Nash doesn't necessarily tell her everything they do or every time they hang out. Which makes you think why hide it?
And then there is Justin. Except now he is in uniform *fist pump*! If you thought he couldn't get any hotter add the uniform and some handcuffs...BOOM instant leg tremors. I love his caring side for his family that we see in this book as well as him FINALLY understanding Della's habit of overthinking about things.
I will say that this story runs much smoother than the first one. There isn't so many twists and turns that you are not sure what way is straight anymore. I do still find myself yelling at the book at how two people can be so judgmental so fast and just assume the worse. I can see that with Della and her not so nurturing upbringing but with Justin, he should know better.
The sex scenes are amazingly awesome!!!! Enough said lol
There are some great plot twists and angst that builds up to a unique ending. I must say I didn't see it happening that way. I think I would of loved to have part of the ending be a third book or even a novella as it seemed a bit rushed but it was still good as it was written.
I am really hoping for some side stories or novella's from some of the other characters, but we shall see what C.A Williams has in store ;)
***** I received an ARC copy for an honest review *****
I just finish reading this book and I love it, I read the first book of this series a while ago, so you could imagine how long awaited to read the second book, and Oh boy I have to say this is the right title for this book, I love the characters and love how the book turn out to be, I am gone keep this short cause I don't want to give anything away. I have to say that this book got me mad sometime just cause of the way that the main character where acting but I love every single minute of it.
This book picks up few months from where the first book end. Della continue to be busy with her classes and work, and with trying to forget about Justin, and how she is still have feeling for him. Justin started to work as a police officer, and tried to get back to his old self meaning having random hooks up just to tried to forget about Della but that's not working at all. when Della received a phone call from her grandmother asking her if she had read the news about Justin her world turn up side down again. When Justin though that he would never see Della again he was shock to see her, he got so piss of at her that he told her to live, that night he decide to show up at shorty's just to make her mad that's when they both realize that they where driving each other crazy.
After a whole lot of drama Della and Justin decided to give their feeling a second chance. I really love and enjoy reading this book, during the entire book it was about the drama and trying to find themselves again love the sex scene they are hot, but I love it more how the book end it even though it had its twist at the end, I was getting ready to say WTH was that but I love the result of. Author C.A. Williams THANK YOU for this wonderful characters and this amazing book love it.

The first book was called Chaotic and I think this should have been called Completely Chaotic!!! I have never read such a rollercoaster of a love story!!
Mia...well she just needed a slap. What a conniving nasty little mare she is!!! You always need a little minx in the mix and she certainly fitted the bill! Della and Justin went from one misunderstanding to another!!! I suppose Justin couldn't knock his rivals out because he was a cop! And don't even get me started on Nash!!!
This book was well written and the fact that I was rooting for the couple to work through the situations that arose, shows that the author made me care about them. This is a sign of a well written book, when you care about what happens to the characters.
I liked the fact the book was written in his and hers POV.
It's always good to have an Epilogue, and trust me, you needed one in this book!!
I enjoyed the story though...and obviously the path of true love in real life isn't always smooth!!
I have recommended this book to my friends and will definitely be checking more of C.A William's work.
This book was great loved that it showed love isn't such an easy path and that love takes hard work. This book really was great and liked his and hers POV !

*Received an ARC in return for an honest review.* I can't recommend this series highly enough!! This without a doubt one of the best series I have ever read. This is book 2 of Imperfect Perfection. Book 1 is Chaotic that you would have to read before reading this book since it is not a standalone. Adelaide (aka Della/Addy) McGregor and Justin Parker's story continues in this book. It starts out with Della changing from what she calls a mousy girl who followed all the rules to a party once again, with of ofourse none other than her sister. And her sister Mia the bad influence living with her and her other two best friends. Nash becoming a father of Mariah's baby, or so he's been told. Della hoping for Justin to try to win her back but have not done anything to show her that he would. Trying to forget about him is impossible when he's all she thinks about. Justin being a cop is keeping him busy but still cannot keep Della out of his mind. He tried to sleep with a random chick but never went far, due to some issue down south, if you catch my drift. It only wants Dela and no one else. Della's sister Mia is up to no good that involves Justin. That's when everything gets very interesting.
I enjoyed Della and Justin's journey in this series. It ended how it's supposed to be. I'll be coming back for more reads from this author. Well done, C.A.Williams! LOVE HEA's!
I was honestly hooked from page one. The main character starts off giving quite a bit of personal history. Some people might not like that much detail but I really liked it. I felt it was necessary for the reader to fully understand who the two main characters are now, who they were and why they feel they way they do. Sometimes you just want to grab Della and Justin and shake them and tell them to just talk and stop being so darn frustrating. Although... at the same time, that frustration is what I like about it. It's realistic. It has the one thing real relationships have, just enough lack of communication and jumping to conclusions that most people have.
The problems these characters face are real and their reactions are real. I really liked Mia, she had attitude, but underneath it all she had a heart of gold. She's messed up but she tries in her own way. Della and Justin were stubborn, but not in an obnoxious way.
I spent a night or two after work fighting to keep at least one eye open so I could keep reading this book. I loved the pace of this book, it wasn't too slow or too fast.
This is book two of the imperfect perfection series. I recommend reading Chaotic before reading this book. Although I feel Twisted Bliss does well enough as a stand alone, as it fills you in just enough to understand the background of the characters.
I believe the sequel us better than the first one, only because you got Justin's perspective more. The story telling is definitely reality, and refreshing. I love della and Justine, even though they are not perfect they are absolutely wonderful. The author shows how this relationship is not perfect, and how they still deal with things not the best way, but they work through it. The secondary characters are good, they are there, but I think that is the only thing I miss, you DONT get their story told, only bits and pieces, so it was hard to fall in love with them. I usually write a little synopsis but it really doesn't need it. Its about della and Justine making their way back to each other, which I can tell you it is not easy. They have people messing with their lives without them knowing and that sucks. They have to travel down different paths yo find out how to get where they want to be.
I loved this book do they get back together, do they fall in love with other people. Is life just too hard to figure out. Read their conclusion and you will see why you could not miss reading this book.
I've been waiting to read this and I finally got around to it and I really enjoyed it. I read the first book in the series, Chaotic, and I liked it enough to continue on and see what happens to Della and Justin.
This book wouldn't have worked without all the drama. God, the drama and heartache and the sexiness!!! The author did a wonderful job with finishing up Della and Justin's story.
My emotions went on a rollercoaster while I read this but at the end I was left satisfied. I'm a sucker for HEA and even through this couple goes through a lot, you get that.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves; girls who don't let guys step on them, a hot, sexy, tattooed asshole who happens to be a cop, amazing roommates that make you want to get out and shop and guys who never get the message.
You know a book is going to be good when you get chills from reading it. That happened to me and I was only at the end of chapter 2. That did it for me, I was hooked and read it from beginning to end in one night. I could not put it down. I thought the first book was chaotic and it fit the title, Twisted Bliss is the same exact way. The emotions are all over the place and not just for the main characters. I felt myself cheering them on and wanting to reach through the pages and bitch slap others. Twisted Bliss was very well written and I loved reading every minute of it. There was Love, Loss, Grief, and Betrayal all wrapped in one excellent Book with great characters. I would recommend reading Chaotic (Book 1 in the Imperfect Perfection Series)first before picking up Twisted Bliss that way you can get the whole back story leading up to this book. You will definitely enjoy both of them!
When disaster strikes and your heart is crushed the last thing you need is to be picked up by a guy at a bar right? Or is that just the thing you need to make you life complete? Yeah sounds Twisted right?!? Okay so it may be a bumpy ride but in the end. C.A has given us a story that shows that even the most unlikely of beginnings can stand the test of time. And oh yeah she gave us Justin, tatts and a uniform! Damm that is HOT!!! Getting to hear Justin struggle with the choices he made, was refreshing. Hearing how he grow through his relationship with Della was precious. Who wouldn't want to be treated like a princess... and by Justin! This was a *7* star read in my opinion. I love how we have a HEA for most of the characters leaving you satisfied. I love when you read a book and you feel like, Yeah that was perfect! Gotta have it!
This like the first book in this series blow away. I couldn't put it down and didn't want it to end. A true love story with ups and downs breakups and makeups. Amazing story and very well written. Can't wait to read more by the author
Imperfect Perfection is the first series I have read by C A Williams and now I'm hooked. Twisted Bliss is a great read that I will recommend to any true book lover.
Loved the story. It moved at a great pace and made sure to keep you interested. I loved Della she is so awesome. Everything was tied up so you were not left wondering but you were left wanting more!
C.A. Williams outdid herself with this book. Beautifully written and very witty. Justin and Della's journey is very unpredictable and imaginative. This is a must read.
