Jordan and Alissa made it out of Portland, away from ground zero where The Fever still rages on. But they couldn't beat the quarantine. Now barriers are being built and the remaining survivors of the outbreak are trapped.

And the undead just keep coming.

The wave of infected is building as city after city is devoured. As they head east into the mountains they will be forced

This is exactly what I needed, a fun little trip through the zombie apocalypse. Can you say that the apocalypse is fun and that you need to spend some time with zombies? Why not!

I like to have books like this in my book pocket. Sure, it’s been a while since I read Until the End (Quarantined #1), a couple of years actually, but it didn’t take much time to recall what had happened in the first book. Quarantined is a series I know, written by an author I’ve read before (six books now). I know what

Okay, I'm definitely adding Alissa to the list of people I want with me when the zombie apocalypse comes, but we're ditching Jordan because he's a dick.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first.

I still liked Alissa and Jordan, and their banter... but not as much as i did in Until the End.

I didn't really know what to think of Syd. In some parts i liked him, but in others he annoyed me.

The ending was really confusing, and it took me a while to work out who's point of view it was.

Overall, a good read, but also a bit of a disappointment.

The nightmares will still come for us. They always do. There’s nothing either of us can ever do to make them stop. But at least we know we won’t face them alone.

Taking up right where UNTIL THE END left off, we are on the road with Syd, Jordan and Alissa as they try to out run the dead in search of life. Syd has his thoughts on what they should do and so does Jordan. Both are butting heads and in turn, Alissa is caught in the middle. With stress at an all-time high, and nothing but an RV as

Not as good as the previous book was. :( Still good though, but it just had a lot of frustrating moments that just made me want to put down the book and not try again.

I was totally delighted to find out that our MC for this book would be Jordan. He is an amazing character and I wanted to have POV of him in the first book. My wish came true in this one. We get to know him more and more, we find out how he feels about Alissa (and also about her illness, because that is still heavy baggage to handl

Just finished re reading this for the second time and again same with book 1 I loved it!
My only complaint is that I didn't want to stop reading and I know this is the end of Alissa and Jordan's story and that makes me sad :-( but I'm happy there is a connecting series so I can stay in this world for abit longer :-)

I really enjoyed this series. I'm not super pleased with the lack of a wrap up for Alissa and Jordan; there were too many questions still looming and I would rather have seen what ended up happening with those issues than the flash forward to 9 years later, which really did nothing for me. Excellent zombie series, up until the end! I will definitely read Tracey Ward's other books.

Grab your weapon of choice as we continue to brave the wilderness, other humans and the zombies alongside Jordan, Alyssa and Syd as they fail to beat the race out of the quarantine zone and find themselves facing more danger, more zombies and an accident that could mean the end of Jordan.

In the End is the second and final book of Tracey Ward’s Quarantined series. Jordan shares his view of what is happening with a totally natural “guy tone.” Relying more on the interaction of each character and t

This was a very good continuation of the story, Until the End. That story ended with Ali and Jordan reaching her father safely. They're still within the "quarantine" area and the gov has walled in the area and doesn't seem interested in letting people out or helping those that are inside. Things are rather rough for the trio, especially because it's just the 3 of them and the constant watch and always begin together is fraying nerves as much as the Zombies are. I liked how things played o

Another fast-paced, intense zombie tale by Tracey Ward! She has joined my list of favourite authors! Her stories are well thought out and funny, emotional, scary, romantic (as romantic as you can get while on the run from flesh-eating undead!!) and I will be reading these books again in the future! I highly recommend both of her zombie series (Quarantined and Survival) as they are awesome!! And I love how they are connected.

It's the characters. They always drive a good zombie take and while I'm sad this series is limited to two books, I loved
The ride. Excellent riding. Yes it's ZA but it's the top shelf kind. Will be reading the sister series next!

Tracey Ward has done it again. To be honest, I don’t think I have read a Tracey Ward book that I hated, she is that good. This time Jordan is our narrator, which she does an awesome job thinking/talking like a guy. There is a part in the book that always brings be to tears, no matter how many times I read the book (so make sure you have tissues nearby). This is that last book for the Quarantined series but there are 2 other series, Survival and Rising (Rising series is not finished yet), out rig ...more

I couldn't put this book down. The shift of POV after the first book of the series easily pulled me in after a comment questioning Jordan's true feelings toward Hawkeye and had me hooked throughout. It was nice being able to see Jordan as a weak/vulnerable character after Alissa had him portrayed as so strong and perfect in the previous book. That didn't stop me from wanting to shake both of them a few times to knock some sense into their heads, but that's always the fun part of reading.

What I truly enjoy about Tracey Ward's books is the way I can relate to the characters no matter how different they are from me. It's not so much their personalities as it is their reaction to experiences, their will to survive, and they need for others. Ward is among the few writers who really speak to me with amazing storytelling, creative setting and plot, and characters I come to love.

Book 2

This book continues the story of Alissa and Jordan as they try to survive the zombie apocalypse. This book lacks the urgency and action found in the first. Still an interesting read in this YA dystopian saga.

I really liked this. I wanted more in between the epilogue and ending though. I liked getting Jordan's perspective. Parts of this made me want to cry.
I realize this is the most disjointed review ever. Too bad because those are my thoughts.

She's like a female version of Hawkeye and I'm a little disturbed about what that says about my feelings regarding Hawkeye. I try not to analyze it too much. -Jordan
In the End by Tracey Ward is the conclusion to the Quarantined series and picks up a few days after the end of book one. Jordan and Alissa have found her Uncle/Dad Syd and are now heading to the east, into the mountains and hopefully away from the horde of zombies. In the End picks up right where Until the End leaves off, smack dab in the middle of an outbreak that causes death and reanimation of corpses. Ali and Jordan are on the run with Ali’s newly discovered father, who goes out of his way to keep Jordan away from Ali. Together the three of them have to battle the undead, find safety and stay alive, as well worry about Ali’s unraveling mental condition and her deteriorating medication supply. Tension runs high and hope has shriveled to almost nothing.

In The End, by Tracy Ward, is the sequel to Until the End, continues Alissa’s and Jordan’s quest for safety from the zombie hoard and the infection that they harbor. They’ve made it out of Ground Zero in Portland and are slowly making their way towards the edge of the quarantine zone in hopes of reaching freedom. This time however, they aren’t alone on the journey. They’re travelling with one of Alissa’s relatives, Syd, whose presence pushes the stress level up just a bit more and adds tension t ...more

IN THE END by Tracey Ward was provided to me free of charge in eBook format in exchange for a fair and honest review. This is the second and final installment of The Quarantined series.

I was not given compensation of any kind for this review and I had never heard of this author prior to reading this series of books.

This review contains only my personal opinions.

Alissa and Jordan have finally made it to her Uncle in Corvallis. But, the zombies have also gotten to his small community.

This was such a great finale to this series! There was so much action and suspense. This book was actually told entirely from Jordan's POV. At first, I wasn't sure how to feel about that because I loved Alissa and her voice. But his POV did allow me to get to know Jordan a bit. There was less banter than the first one, but that was probably because the intensity factor was increased ten fold and of course, Alissa's dad was there. It was kind of funny that even though they were in the middle of t ...more

Full Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from the author, via Goodreads, in exchange for an honest review.

My Thoughts: I still have a huge, probably disturbing, love of zombie books. I’ll admit that I was pretty excited to read In the End because I loved the first one so much, Until the End.

In the End is written from Jordan’s point of view, which was a nice little switch-up. I will admit to being a huge fan of Jordan’s character and kinda wish there was a real person like him to meet. Onc

In the End is the second part of the Quarantined series. It's switched from the PoV of Alissa to Jordan's as they begin their journey towards any semblance of civilization with Alissa's father. With zombies lingering with each step of the way, the trio are thrust into even more impossible situations involving life or death. Can they make it to the safety of society, or are they doomed to the fate that has befallen the zombies?

At first, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about reading In the End from Jo
