Rate this book

Book 3 in the Sempire Seductions series.

Navine is suffering Incubus addiction--a death sentence for any Sempire. When the search for a cure turns up only one rumor, Navine is horrified to learn the mutant Fin might be her only chance to live. Fearing the taint of the mutant more than fearing death, she continues to push him away as she tries to deny how his touch inflames her.

Fin is captivated by Navine the first moment their gazes lock, but when she realized what he was--a male Sempire, an abomination--she rejected him. Fin is burning with the need to touch her, taste her and he’ll do almost anything to save her.

With time running out, passion must overcome prejudice to save Navine’s life and to grant Fin’s fantasy.

This has been a great series. I loved the first two books! They're equal parts funny and sexy. The characters are so likable and entertaining. And this demon world is so much fun to read about but this one was wasn't near as good as the first two. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed this book but the whole freaking time I just wanted to reach inside my kindle and strangle Navine!

This one picks up pretty close to where Valia's Villain ended. Navine is a Sempire demon (she requires male semen live) who was captured by a nasty Incubus demon and kept as his sex slave. Incubus semen is highly addictive to Sempire demons so she was completely dependent on her captor to keep her alive. Once she's rescued, her brother and Fin's family scramble to find a cure for her addiction before it's too late and she dies. The cure they find comes in the form of Valia and Araya's brother Fin, a male sempire. Male sempires have always been thought of as abominations and killed at birth but Fin's mother couldn't do it so she kept him hidden. Fin's semen is supposed to be the cure needed to get rid of her addiction and give her a second chance at life but Navine can't get past what he is and how horrible she thinks of it so she pushes him away every chance she gets. If she wants to live though, she must get over what he is and have sex with him to survive.

I loved Fin! He's a sweetheart and pretty damn hot and seriously, the man has the patience of a saint to deal with such a wretched woman. Navine was awful though! I tried, I really did, but I just don't like her! She was horrible to Fin. Always saying terrible things, pretty much up until the end even though she had fallen for him. I understand that she was always told that his kind should not exist but really, her disgust for him was a little over done in my opinion. And Fin really should not have put up with it for as long as he did! I get it though, I'm just annoyed!

I think the only reason I did enjoy this one so much was Fin and his sisters and their men being so involved in this book. Valia is SO funny! I'm always eager to hear what will come out of her mouth! It was nice to get updates on those two couples too. :)

Even though I didn't like this one as much as the other two, I still have hope for more. One couple being Baden and Rainee. Not sure if those two will end up together but I'd really like to see their stories. Especially Rainee's because she is quite the character!

If you like sexy demons and plenty of humor thrown in you simply must read this series! I may not be the biggest Navine fan but you can't miss Fin's story and for sure don't miss Valia and Araya's stories! Those two have some super sexy men and fantastic personalities. I will definitely be reading more if Miss Dex decides for another one but I hope she has mercy on the next poor man to catch himself a demon! :)

Sempire Navine had been trapped and tortured by an Incubus for six months in Hell. She is finally rescued and home with her family, but is dying a slow painful death from her Incubus addiction. The only chance of her survival is a rumored cure to come from a male Sempire, which in her world, is an abomination. As a male Sempire, Fin has been hiding what he is his entire life. Only recently having revealed himself to his siblings, Fin finds himself in a position to help Navine. They both are very attracted to each other but Navine has issues with what Fin is. The only question now is can Navine put her prejudice aside and give in to her passions to survive.

This series just gets better and better. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in the series so when the opportunity arose to read the third book in the series, Fin's Fantasy, I said yes. Navine is quite the *AHEM* to Fin. She’s rude insulting and everything she can possibly be to drive the mutant away. Frankly, I don’t know why because Fin is oh so sweet and sexy. Luckily, Fin is too much temptation for her to resist. Is he the cure for her? Not gonna tell but I will say oh baby the sex between them is spicy hot. We get to revisit with the fun characters from the previous books, which makes the dialog snappy and witty especially when Valia is in the picture. Just when things start to look up, author Jocelyn Dex throws in a few unexpected twists which keep the whole story moving quickly on to a very satisfying end.

Jocelyn Dex is a gem of an author and I’m really hoping there will be another book to the Sempire Seductions series. I highly recommend reading Fin’s Fantasy.

I was provided a copy of the book for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review in any way and the opinions of this review are all mine.
