A dizzying journey round Africa with a few pages on each country giving a summary of the country's history, tourist attractions, economy, culture & music and fun facts about the place. The pictures show the amazing variety and beauty of the continent. Whilst the information here is starting to get out of date, it is a very beautiful book.

At 13 years old, it's definitely now out-of-date, with such an active continent as Africa. However, this volume is full of wonderful information and attention-getting photographs, so an updated edition would be appreciated that much more.

Africa is one of the most beautiful continent of the world and it has nice places that we sure to have adventures. Their cultures and beliefs also attracts the people to come and let it adopt. Though some wild animals are there, it makes it more interesting to visit and stay. While reading this book, I feel like I am stepping on to the places of Africa because of the author. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

more detail on each country than "The Travel Book". Still favors touristed countries and just touches on some of the less popular countries for tourists.

This author went to the five regions and 54 countries in Africa on an adventure. It is better than a travel book and he highlights the good things that each country has to offer.
