Award-winning Dorothy McFalls delivers four romantic Regency romances in one volume. From the sweet to the sensual, these tales will whisk the reader to another time and place.

Book 1: The Marriage List (A Romantic Times Top Pick!): Compelled by his family to marry, Viscount Radford Evers makes a list of his requirements for a wife. Humble tenant May Sheffers meets none of these, so why does his heart beat madly at the sight of her?

Book 2:Lady Iona's Rebellion (A Romance Reviews Today Perfect 10!): When obedient Lady Iona is pressured into accepting a husband of her father's choosing, she seeks out notorious rake, Lord Nathan Wynter, for lessons in rebellion.

Book 3: Taken By Moonlight: A restless Regency lady who is the only hope for a pack of werewolves. A mysterious gentleman with a deadly plan. A stolen kiss leads to a decision that might get them both killed when passions burn brighter than moonlight.

Book 4: The Nude (A Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence Winner): Upon my honor! If not for that shocking painting... It has ruined everything. A handsome marquess promises to repair my tattered reputation. But how can I trust him or his clever kisses when he's clearly hiding a deep, dark secret of his own?

This was a nice collection of stories that had your typical boy meets girl scenarios. Of course not all the girls were ladies or wanted to be treated like ladies which made for some really spicy encounters for sure. I had originally thought all 4 books tied in together but only books 1 & 2 are the same characters and continuation of story. Books 3 & 4 are stand alone and very good in their own right and shows the depth of talent that the Author has. Book 3 is more mystical then the others as it deals with a werewolf pack which is a totally different genre to me. I think book 4 ended up being my favorite as it was just so different of a story! All the books pulled you in and the characters came to life on the pages which is no easy feat for sure. I enjoyed them all and look forward to reading more from this author in the near future.

I tried. I really did. I finished the first book and then thought, okay, maybe the second one will be better. Finished the second book and said, okay, this is just too painful and frustrating. DNF.

The Sweet and Spicy Regency Collection

I enjoyed reading each story, and as I read one I thought another couldn't get any better or be as good, but I was wrong. A good set of novels.

Good collection

I enjoyed 3 out of 4 of the stories. The 3rd story is a werewolf fantasy - not something I dislike, it's just that it wasn't very good. It was written as a short story but it needed more fleshing out.

I particularly liked the first two stories although some of the second story was unnecessarily smutty, the third one involving wolves was not my cup of tea the final story was very good in respect of the plot however surely one explicit bedroom scene in sufficient!

Loved this series of romance novels. They are all fun to read and quite different from each other. I didn't have a clear favorite, but the stronger and more independent heroines are my favorites. I picked up the collection on Amazon for 99 cents and it was a great way to spend a few cold hours this winter. Enjoy!

Who doesn't love the Victorian Era? (It's been a loooong time since I read this, so I hope I got that right). Fancy balls, ridiculous social etiquette that is just dying to be broken, hopelessly romantic rakes, and the mold breaking stubborn women they love. The entire collection was completely wonderful and perfectly balanced.

Read the last first.

The Nude was good, emotional, and sufficiently sexy to feel realistic. The first book was OK. The second preposterous: the heroine is a ninny. The third book is obviously fantasy and feels rushed. Read the last book (The Nude) and ignore the others.

Hours of living in the Regency period!

Well written with the foibles of men and women delightfully portrayed. While I am usually uninterested in weres and other creatures of the night the one of the four novels that dealt with them did so in a very readable manner.
