The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is a British public service broadcaster headquartered at Broadcasting House in the City of Westminster, London. It is the largest broadcaster in the world, with about 23,000 staff. Its main responsibility is to provide impartial public service broadcasting in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. The BBC have also published many books based on their programs or other films and shows.
The Slitheens have never been my favorite of the Doctor Who aliens. Out of all the Doctor Who aliens, they aren’t the most interesting and their stories are never the best.
That being said though, I found this book to be a great refresher on all the important information about the Slitheens. The book recaps most of their stories from the show really well.
There’s also an original story at the end of the book that wasn’t in the tv show. While I’m not sure if the story was the most accurate portrayal of the Slitheens and their tactics, I still found the story interesting and I liked getting to go on another mini adventure with the Doctor and Rose.
