Love the cover on this book, maybe that makes me shallow because as soon as I saw it I wanted to dive straight into reading this book! Maybe it was the tattoos? Muscles? The fact I knew the male was a kickboxer? Ok I will stop dwelling on the cover and get to the book :-)

So Nathan.... Visually (in my head obviously) YUMMY!! Hes got the looks, the body, but personality... Hes a class A dick. He seemed to have a complete change of personality through the book, gone with the player attitude to swee

I got this book in exchange for an honest review, and while I always wondered why people had to point that out, I finally know now why. It's hard to be honest when you actually don't really want to put people down, especially not when they offer you to read their books.

As it was though I didn't like much about that book. As mentioned in other reviews, the book definitely needed a little more proof-reading. The vocabulary and the tenses were all over the place. It made reading hard, I have to adm

I'm sorry to say this, but this book was a big no for me. Where to even start...?

First, the voice of Nathan (meaning his inner thoughts) didn't at all match the personality set up for him. His characterization was all over the place, I found. First he's a player, then he feels guilty for trying to get with a guy's fiancée, and then a few chapters later, after losing a fight against said girl's fiancé, he curses the guy fo

Struggle by P. A. Jones

This book was a gift from the author for an honest review. I just finished reading Struggle and I have to say that it was a welcome change from my other books. I am a romance reader, but I am a little tired of the sex taking over the book. I truly liked that your book had more to it than just the sex.

Struggle begins with the lives of two characters Eva and Nathan. They each struggle I with the way their lives have ended up. Eva loves to run and wants to make it a go for a

the fact that Nathan is a fighter. I have a weak-point for those :D

"Why, Nathan...."
"please, Nathan..."

Does she really have to say his name every single line?
Well, not really, but it felt like that :/
Another thing, who says "awesome" in the middle of getting head? that made me just LOL!

Plot: Hmmm, sweet.

I really liked the characters and the storyline, and there were things that bothered me but I kept reading because I wanted to know what happened. And it deserved it. The story was very well developed. Broken hearts, trust issues, shitty past can make anybody stay in his home and give up but not Nathan and Eva, they will chase their dreams and they will fight for their wants and happiness and for a chance to take what they really deserve, true love.

I picked this up as a freebie because it sounded like it had potential. Once I started it, I set it down several times due to lack of interest and tried to pick it back up. I hate not finishing books but I just can't do it.

The flow of the book is too choppy and the characters are flat. I would like to say it has potential but it would need a fair bit of editing before I would feel confident in saying that.

Honest review for ARC copy

I really enjoyed this storyline of this Novel. The characters are believable and the writing flowed nicely. Its a story about broken hearts being mended, friendship, and love winning out!

So we meet Nathan, strong athletic, handsome man, who appears to be a bit of a player with some history that's being hidden ! He gets into a fight almost immediately who just happens to be a kickboxing opponent he is due to be fighting soon.

We then meet Eva, who is a sassy strong will

Let me get right into what made me go "WHAAAAAAAT?!"... the ending! I am hoping there is something else in the works for this couple because the ending was ... well, it left me going "WHAAAAAT?!". I can't give that away because then there's no point in reading the book :) My only other gripe is that it took half the book for Eva and Nathan to actually get together. Now, that being said, all those chapters before

When I read the synopsis I was like "Yes, that's my kind of book!" Damaged individuals trying to move on from their past and learn to trust and love again. Plus a businessman by day, kick boxer by night? Umm, yes please!

Well, unfortunately the book did not live up to the hype. I was very quickly disappointed. A 150 page book normally takes me a day to read - IF I am loving it. This one took me three days because each page felt

This book was offered to me for free in exchange for an honest review. While I don't like giving such a low rating, there were a few things that kept me from really enjoying Struggle. I rated it 3 stars on Amazon as that equaled OK and I did not hate this book.

There are many, many typos in the book. If P.A. Jones is a self-publishing author, maybe it would help her out to have a few friends read it for grammar and spelling errors. When there are errors on every other page it tends to trip a read

I was given an arc for this book in exchange for an honest review, so here goes. Struggle by P.A. This book sounded really good. It even started out great and drew me in but after a few chapters it really started to fall apart.

The characters seemed to change personalities constantly. I couldn't keep up. One minute you have Nathan who acts like a bad ass fighter but then he is a professional speaking man with all the courtesy and respect you would expect in a mature business man. Then he is this emotional drinker then he is sensitive and it just goes on from there. Eva seemed like a strong wo

Let me start off by saying I am thrilled when authors ask for reviews. I was excited to read something by a new author in exchange for a review. I am a completely honest person and very opinionated so here it goes.

This is a fast paced book, and at first it bounced around a bit, but as you read the rest of the story it became better. There are a few things I didn't like and they are listed below...for me to list them means they really just bothered me. There is a strong connection between Nathan

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**

It was the first time that an author reached out to me to review a book and was honored to do so.

I really liked the characters, Nathan and Eva, and the storyline. It was refreshing to see that the main characters took the time to know each other and build the relationship prior to jumping into bed like a lot of other stories do. Nathan is an IT Programmer and Kickboxer who, due to a previous relationship that left him on the bottom of the bar

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this it's fast paced. Give me an mma romance book and I am completely drawn in lol! Nathan and Eva are both sports driven individuals but they lead different lives. I stumbled across this book, I loved the cover and synopsis and gave it a shot. I'm really glad I did :-). The book was great. It was a quick read, there was no unnecessary fluff. You stayed connected with the characters.

Eva is college student struggling for strength and independence. She was in an abusive relationship a year ago that has caused her to give up on men. Her mother has her life planned for her, but Eva has dreams of becoming a professional runner. As she's struggling to stand up to

I am not sure what to say about this book. It does have a good storyline but the whole story is lacking of affections. I couldn't get myself to like Eva because I feel like she cries all the time and I could get myself to feel that her friend was her best friend, what young best friend call each other sugar, sweets, or something like that to each other?

It's seems like her emotion is all over the place and why she's mad at Nathan

I rarely give a book less than 3 stars, and I truly hate when I have to, but I really couldn't get into it.

The book has potential to be good, but it really needed some editing. The writing and grammar are so distracting that I couldn't connect with the characters, or most importantly enjoy the story.

The characters Eva and Nathan had great potential though. Nathan is a sexy kickboxer and Eva is a sweet college student. Nathan is a p

Author gave me the book for a review and I appreciate the copy!!

This is the first book that I read from P.A Jones and I was a little unsure at first. The book kind of jumped around a lot in the beginning and it took me awhile but it was worth the time reading! Nathan was such a player in the beginning and the way he fell in love with Eva was what Eva actually needed in her life! Eva is a girl that is focused on running and school and not working for her mother. When Nathan and Eva’s eye met for

I did like the story line in this book, I think this book has great potential. I have also read some of the reviews that have been posted already and while I will not discredit someone else's opinion I do not agree with some if them.

This story is about 2 broken souls who have had so much hurt they close their hearts off. There is a lot if emotion in this story and you can see growth in the main characters.

I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. Eva is running from her past trying to get the future she wants. Her mother is after her to forget her dream of running and work for her. Nathan is an IT guy, a kick-boxer and a playboy and he is running from his past too. I was given this book by the author for an honest review. This is a story about Eva, a college student/athlete, who doesn't want to end up working with her mother and Nathan, a kick boxer/ IT guy, who seems to just be looking for a good time.

I had read different reviews good and bad and also some ok. I did like how two first met. Eva is a college student and Nathan is a web designer. they both have a past that comes to bite them in the butt. But with love they can come together as one. I personally did like how it took awhile for them to get together. It does show that there can be a second book. I have to say the only out of the book that i didn't like was that it ended abruptly. To me is should of had a few more pages than ended. ...more

Nathan I think he's attempting to flirt with Eva, but the boy I just don't think he's good at it, "I will definitely require you to clarify some requirements. Maybe we can meet somewhere and discuss those things." Eva she doesn't beat around the bush she says how she feels, "it's better that I give you some time to think about what you want. It just doesn't feel right that I keep running behind you and your issue keeps coming between us." But Nathan can be very forthcoming in what he wants as we ...more

I couldn't connect, either with Nathan or Eva. I found their emotions to be either all over the places or nothing at all. I understood both had a bruised past, but i felt Nathan went overboard with it. Their way of handling situations was also not up to the mark, according to me.
I felt like this is the normal NA story, both the lead characters have a bruised past but what they make of their present and when they find each other makes up for it or makes a reader crazy for them. I couldn't find ei

I gave this book 4 star's.

Struggle - Hmmm. How to start this off.

I really enjoyed Eva and Nathan as a couple, they were great together.
There was electricity between them the moment they saw eachother.

And that's all it took for Nathan to become a better man, a faithful, loving gentlemen.

Eva was all around a great person from the start, and deserved someone like him.

I also enjoyed the best friend and her true friendship-ness, you don't see that
