Overall it was a good book to spark introspection, but the language is horribly outdated in regards to gender and other social issues, and the wording on some of the questions make me question how the author truly views racial differences.

It is a good tool from which to get inspired.
Being a science teacher, the values clarification techniques are not exactly the core of the lessons I give, but I can definitely get some use out of them with a couple of variations.
I had issues with how outdated the language was, in terms of gender.

I actually was introduced to this book by our Girl Scout troop leader in high school. Made an impression on me because of the discussions it prompted.
