‘Lost in Time’ by Ken Johns is a story about nights in armour in the England of the 1300s. England. That story is good enough on its own, but is enhanced by the knowledge that the main family are travellers in time from the present. That family have to cope with a culture completely different to their own modern-day culture, and this adds another exciting element to what is already an excellent stand-alone story.
A great concept, excellently executed, and the first of what looks like it will be an excellent series. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Science fiction, and time travel in particular, have a reputation for being haughty or robotic. However, that’s not the case here. An evocative setting and lifelike characters help to firmly ground this book in something relatable: family. Lost in Time is a page turner, and I very much look forward to the next installment!

Love time travel

Time travel is a subject I'm always interested in, ever since I was a kid and watched time tunnel after school.
