A great idea for a novel that tends to wander too far from the main idea. Fundamentally, a few changes could be made to strengthen the work. I loved the premise of this novel and enjoyed speaking with the author in Reno at a book signing. I read the entire novel in less than two weeks, so there's enough there to engage the reader. Some questions left unanswered at the end. The author shows promise.

Dark Side of the Looking Glass, my first novel, started out simply as a personal desire to write a book. I loved reading and thought that I possibly could write a book of a genre that I enjoyed reading. I had to try my hand at it. While business was slow in my small architectural firm, I thought that this would be a good time to venture into a book. I won this book through Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. I opened this book hoping to find something similar to Stargate SG1 in which there was a military aspect as well as a few events dealing with parallel and alternate universes. There were over 100 chapters in this book (yes you read that right) which many could have been combined and others could have just been deleted.
