I won this book through Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. I opened this book hoping to find something similar to Stargate SG1 in which there was a military aspect as well as a few events dealing with parallel and alternate universes. There were over 100 chapters in this book (yes you read that right) which many could have been combined and others could have just been deleted. Vernon Harris has traveled extensively throughout North America and West Africa. He worked as an international military specialist, studied languages, and pursued a career in architecture. He and his wife, Joanne, live in Reno, Nevada, in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This is his first novel.
