A good introductory textbook for physics, chemistry and astronomy. I especially appreciated the last subject - astronomy - as I had no background in the subject in college (except a math-based astrophysics course). My recommendation is to augment the subject with the plethora of YouTube videos on planets and the universe. As a Christian, I also found it needful to discuss the difference between theory and fact, scientific process and historical extrapolation.
