This story about Iris is unique in that most of the interaction for Iris is via an electronic device, much like many of us communicate with others. The narrator, Iris, hasn't met any of these people face-to-face and yet she interacts with them more than she does with people with whom she has a close relationship. If you have ever attempted an exclusively e-relationship, you will understand this fully; if not, you are in for an example that is 'oh, so very real.' Here is hoping that you enjoy reading 'e-Dearest.com' as much as I enjoyed inventing the characters and story for you.
