A very good book for beginners. Thomas covers the whole sketching process from observation to composition, and sketching trees, landscape, architecture, cityscape and buildings. The only thing I found lacking was the inclusion of some practice exercises. However, the book has plenty of beautiful sketches to inspire.
Inspiration and instruction that was easy to follow. I tried a lot of the techniques as I read and felt that I have a better grasp on sketching after reading it. I will return to this book again to refresh my memory and work on my sketching skills. I'm new to drawing, but really enjoyed this.

This book illustrates the techniques of putting on white sheet what you see. Better to try this book if you are an artist or have some inclination for sketching.
Great book! Firstly, it gives inspiration to draw and secondly, it gives simple advices how to avoid distraction when you are lack of basic knowledges on drawing.
This is a lovely book with very specific direction on pencil sketching. I got it first to look at the drawings, but it was ultimately a great refresher.
