Great outline format. Very thin book you can get through a number of times during the clerkship. Not too detailed in pharmacology like some other psychiatry review books. Excellent overview, great shelf prep.
I wasn't a fan of psychiatry before I did my rotation and I still can't say that I am now - however, First Aid for Psych has been an excellent review source for me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and go as far as to say you probably won't need any other books to read during psych :)
The only book I used for the psychiatry clerkship. No clinical cases but just straight up information. Excellent for psychopharmacology. Just do the Uworld questions, which are pretty damn easy.
