I had a hard time finding this book--I knew about it because I'd read Campbell's Thoroughbred series, but since this was written before those and was a standalone horse story, it went out of print until the publisher re-released them as part of the Thoroughbred collection. I found my copy at a used book store (the cover is REALLY outdated). But Joanna Campbell is a good horse story writer (the Thoroughbred series was great until other writers took it over) and I enjoyed this standalone story.
