This book is certainly dated, and I do have questions about some of the research done to provide the stories. However, it is full of interesting snippets of Missouri history, and is a personal connection to my family who have handed this book down through the generations. Reading this has been a long overdue dive into the history of my home state, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
