This book is simply brilliant. From opening the cover to turning the last page the story held me totally captive. The characters are well thought out, extremely credible and enhance the story more at every twist and turn of an extraordinary plot line. I received this book for free via Goodreads First Reads.

A measure of what can turn a good book into a great one for me is whether there is something particularly memorable in the pages. This book has a death of a minor character that is just that. It is beyond horrific and the visual image is haunting me still. That will make sure I will remember this book.

Apart from that, this book was a fun, clever and intriguing read. It had a lot of likeable characters (good and evil) and dogs always help in

Excellent story had me hooked from the beginning. Can't wait for the second book to come out. If you like the paranormal then this is highly worth a read.
