A really cute book that introduces children to 10 different Bible stories. Bob Hartman has let his imagination flow and focus on the angels in these stories, whether they are mentioned in the Bible, like Gabriel, or just hinted at. Or if you realise that they must have been there, when you read between the lines in the Bible.

The stories are about 1. Hagar & Ishmael 2. Bileam (which was a favourite story among the family members that I read it to) 3. Elias 4. Shadrak, Meshak & Aved-Nego 5. Daniel in the lion's den (my son loved this one in particular) 6. Mary meeting Gabriel which was VERY touching, beliavable and one of my favourites 7. The shephards 8. The angels that rolled away the stone to Jesus' tomb and told the women to not seek for the living among the dead. This story was great and worth buying the book for! 9. Petrus being saved from death in Herod's prison 10. Paulus being saved from drowning when being taken to Rome as a prisoner.

This book really makes it easier for children to come to love the Bible.

Can't put it down

This is a really great book that I can't put down. It tells the story from their point of view. I really suggest this book.
