This book was about a girl named Lucy. Lucy and her 2 brothers and older sister went to a house with a professor far way. While lucy and her 2 brothers and sister were playing hide and go seek lucy decided to hide in a wardrobe. When lucy was ready to go out she found out that somehow she was in the woods in the wardrobe and there she met the faun. Later in the story the kids get tricked by the witch (the queen) and then lucy met a lion who helped them free everyone and kill the witch. When the day came and they had victory Lucy and her 2 brothers and sister became the princesses and prince of Narnia. And they helped to save the faun. I would recommend this book to people who like fairy tales that sound like real life.

decent adaptation of the begining of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" for early readers. Purchased for my student. If not for the need for books to practice his reading, my personal preference would be to read the original book to the child, rather than use these adaptations.

This book is awesome!! I mean I love, love, LOVE the Narnia series and the best part of this book is that I am getting to share it with my very young daughter. It has pictures from the movie which is only slightly a downside. It works well for my oldest but for my younger ones the movie pictures are somewhat contradictory to the other picture book Narnia books we have.

I really like the adventures that a family that's living in their uncle place to avoid war. I love how their adventure needed them like its planned and also i like how a family betray his own family and the family forgave him. This story shows leadership and its also a up and down story sad to happy then to sad to happy again.

Have to add this movie tie-in easy reader to my own classroom library--good adaptation of the story for beginning readers. Good mix of easy text and challenging words. Great for the kids who are just tired of the typical easy reader!

I like this one much more than my little 7 year old. How can he not love it? No prior associations? Maybe some books should just be waited for.
