Race car enthusiasts will thoroughly enjoy this book featuring ten race cars competing in a thrilling race. As the cars break down, tire out, or encounter other challenges, readers count down from 10 to 1 to discover who ultimately wins the race. The 10 Little Vehicles series remains an excellent choice for libraries, particularly in areas where interest in vehicles is high.

Five out of 5, no notes. I rarely see subtraction / count backwards books, and this book T's up the answers perfectly for young readers with its zippy little rhymes. The illustrations are fun, yet not too busy, despite all those race cars!

Jack borrowed this book from the Spring Hill Library. I picked it because he loves numbers and cars. He has loved listening to me read it, as well as flipping through it on his own to name all the numbers on the cars.
