Fans of cars and trucks can count down from ten to one as they follow ten construction vehicles on a busy workday. This sturdy board book is perfect for kids ages 0-3!Ten little construction trucks excited for the day. They can’t wait to get to work, but something’s in their way!On each page of this sturdy, action-packed board book, young readers can count down construction vehicles from ten to one. Along the way, they'll learn about different machines on a construction site, such as bulldozers, rollers, forklifts, and concrete mixers. With noisy words on every page, this is the perfect book to read aloud with your little vehicle fan.
“10 Little Construction Trucks” by Annie Bailey and illustrated by Jeff Harter is a richly illustrated children’s picture book. The text is in rhymes, and although this isn’t my favorite style of writing, Bailey pulls it off perfectly.
What i especially love about the illustrations is that Harter numbered each of the vehicles so they could be identified easily. This was perfect because not only will kids learn their numbers, they’re also exposed to a variety of different construction trucks and their names.
Overall, this is a wonderful book for kids (and adults!) and I definitely recommend this picture book for young children.
A rhyming board book about ten hardworking construction trucks. Counting down from ten to one, the different vehicles are sidelined at the construction site one by one until one is left all alone. However, they are all reunited at bedtime. A comforting board book for little ones who love construction vehicles.
"Ten little construction trucks, so rough and tough and strong, stop their engines, dim their lights . . . and snooze the whole night long."
This is a fun construction truck + counting and subtraction book. Each page has a rhyme and allows the reader to guess the number that fills in the blank, presented on the next page. I thought the premise was just ok in this one: the construction sight is "in their way," but also their job? And the perspective is a little blah. I gave a full 5 stars to this book's cousin, 10 Little Race Cars.
10 Little Construction Trucks are at a construction site and as each truck either completes a task or has something happen to it, the reader counts down to one. Counting and construction vehicles are two extremely popular topics for children and this board book is sure to please. Rhyming and well-written, this is one of the best new releases for ages 0-3.
if your kid is into construction trucks this is an absolute must for toddlers! my kid wanted to read this all the time. it helps with numbers. the rhyming is fine. the pictures are cute and there's quite a bit to look at. and yet there aren't a ton of words on the page so it work great for younger toddlers too.
Do you have a kiddo who loves construction trucks? This is the book for them! It features all the different types, the story is so much fun, and kids will be asking you to read it again and again. Truly the perfect bedtime story for all your young fans of diggers and movers.
exactly what it says in the title: 10 little construction vehicles who work together to build something. excellent for kids like my storytime boys who love construction and know every single machine. counting is a bonus. i like that it's not just a counting book, it tells a story too.
