I liked the book. The zoomed in images are really fun. I like the idea of a nature spy. I have four kids and they love getting out and looking at the details of the environment so we can definitely relate to this book.

mainly an effort to say, look closely and you will see much more of nature…but it does not take the discussion to the next step..what does the closeup show the reader.
disappointing in that respect. nice try, but no home run.

photographs show different aspects of nature from a dog's fur to a leaf first as our eyes see them and then including close-ups with amazing detail.
