From New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Nicole Edwards comes the tenth installment in her Brantley Off the Books series.
During the two years since they created the Off the Books Task Force, Brantley Walker and Reese Tavoularis have had their share of difficult cases, but their next one hits close to home. Too close.
After Jessica James is taken in broad daylight in the center of town, the Off the Books Task Force joins forces with family and friends in Coyote Ridge to find her. When JJ turns up safe and sound, they realize finding her was only half the battle. A series of chain reactions have the task force working to clear one of their own while searching for the person responsible for JJ’s disappearance.
Some relationships are tested, while others grow stronger as the team works to stop the dominoes from falling.
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Nicole Edwards spends her days stringing words together to make complete sentences. Sometimes not. Her best friend is coffee, and she has a love/hate relationship with sarcasm. She’s been accused of having a filthy imagination, which she admits is true.
Nicole lives in the suburbs of Austin, Texas. She proudly claims one husband, three grown children, and two bosses (better known as the dogs). When she isn’t writing, watching football or hockey, or keeping her bosses happy, you can probably find her with a book in hand.
Wait…. Not a cliffhanger but inconclusive. Nicole is great for leaving you hanging in there. Craftily opening up to many new and continuous scenarios.
Back to Chain Reaction. There were ongoing stages here following from previous reads within all of Nicole’s books, but mainly O.T.B & The Walkers as stated by Nicole too. We are still focusing on the wedding & J.J./Baz’s pregnancy 😉 won’t spoil within this scenario. But be aware as we continue from the O.T.B series, J.J. was in a jam. This is the intro to Chain Reaction. What diabolical scenes ate presented to J.J.? Will she & Baz ever see a solution?
Tick tock on Brantley & Reese’s - yes… the wedding. Will there be an interruption prior Brantley’s countdown? This will be fun. Innuendos, sexcapades and always trust.
Not only are we focused on the above characters, we also delve into other O.T.B. members, Slade/Atticus/Carson? (Brantley’s cuz) of/if a threesome. But also but never far is Travis. What next for him? Breadcrumbs trail has been left.
On a personal note : there is another author who has an ongoing series. Very rarely do you find authors who can create a/or series that stand test of time and want you seeking more.
How does she keep doing it? Nicole Edwards has made this series such an awesome, mind blowing, sexy, nonstop action, heartfelt joy to read that you can’t compare it to any other series. Every book contains all the core characters. Even though it may concentrate on a single couple or threesome, All their friends and coworkers that surround the main two or three characters that the book is about are still an integral part of the series. The best thing about this book is instead of it being around a core couple the book is about all of the characters each having their own place in this book. Of course, Brantley and Reese are the two we love to watch, they have come such a long way. With their wedding fast approaching, I even get butterflies in my stomach with anticipation. Then you have Baz and JJ, so much going on around those two especially with JJ being pregnant, and don’t forget the crazy stalker lady after Baz. She makes her appearance as well. And a huge surprise for both Baz and JJ. Slade and Atticus are a couple/ not a couple, that we need to watch. There will be more in the coming books I think, especially where Carson is concerned. The last characters I’ll mention our Evan and Becs. All I can say is it’s about time, now we wait and see. I could go on about the characters, the plots, the sexy times but seriously you have to read the book. You cannot put the book down because you do not want to miss what happens next. Honestly, it hit every emotion. I laughed, I cried, I rooted for the good guys, and wanted to go through the book and strangle the bad guys. I loved every minute of it.
I love Brantley and Reese and the whole Nicole Edwards universe. I eagerly anticipate the release of every book in this series but have felt the last few have strayed too much from the two main characters. Maybe this is something the author has consciously done, but I'm really struggling with it.
The first 30% of the book focussed on the kidnapping of a favourite character, JJ. I was left wondering why the book spent so much time on this event when the blurb spilled the beans that all would end up well for JJ. The whole event was written really well and there would have been a lot of angsty moments if I didn't know the outcome already 🤷🏻♀️.
The book then predominantly focussed on the developing relationship between Slade, Atticus and Carson. I love a MMM story, but again was left wondering why it was needed in this series, which I've always felt should be about Brantley and Reese. Don't get me wrong, I'll be eagerly reading this throuples' story whenever it is released, as their developing relationship was written really well with plenty of smexy parts and great insight into each character's thinking.
Overall, we only got three major scenes with Brantley and Reese and I was left wondering why I am reading this book if I'm not getting any more of their story. I mean there is plenty still to explore between Brantley and Reese e.g. Reese's PTSD - confined space issues.
We got a sniff of what may be going on in Travis's world. This could have been further explored or maybe we could have been given a few more teasers.
And don't get me started on Evan and Becs. Such a frustrating and somewhat irrelevant / boring storyline.
I will continue reading this series as I do enjoy Nicole's books and hope that it focusses once again on Brantley and Reese.
Chain Reaction the next installment in the Brantley Walker: Off the Books series is everything that we come to love about Nicole Edwards and this series. There is so much action, intrigue, smoking hot sex, joy and quite a few laughs along the way, you won’t be able to put this book down. Chain Reaction picks up where Off Course left off and we find out who has kidnapped JJ and their (very crazy) intentions for the kidnapping. The whole team, as well as most of Coyote Ridge is out to find JJ and the crazies who have kidnapped her. Off course along the way all the relationships within the team that have been growing over the last several installments are covered in this book.
Slade, Carson, and Atticus are trying to figure out what is going on between the three of them. The chemistry is there and all three know it, but they are fighting a lot of their feelings while realizing they can’t deny this thing, they have between the three of them. I can wait to read where Nicole will this threesome…some good stuff is coming I can feel it!
Evan and Becs are trying their best to work through their issues, while JJ and Baz get some exciting news that makes everyone smile. Brantley and Reese are just a couple of weeks away from their wedding and more in love than ever.
I don’t won’t to give anything away so I won’t go into any details, just know this book is absolute must read! You will get everything and more that you have come to expect from this series and Nicole! Cannot wait until the next installment in this series…Brantley and Reese’s wedding and the rest of the Off the Books team is sure to not disappoint.
What a fantastic job Nicole has done with this book. I absolutely love this series and the entire Walker family series, and each book just makes me love them more and more. Chain Reaction starts where Off Course left off. The OTB Task force is searching for a pregnant JJ and every task force member is affected by the apparent kidnapping of JJ but none so more than Baz. Baz is besides him self with fear and worry. Brantley has recruited everyone in Coyote Ridge to help with the search and it's times like this is where we see the entire Walker Family. Everyone has come out to help with the search. This story was an edge of your seat read and it's action packed from start to finish. Every segment of this story is strategically place with an exact importance and you just know you will have to continue reading this series before all is revealed. During this book we get more depth into the Slade, Atticus and Carson romance and I for one can't wait to see where Nicole takes us on this ride. This relationship has me more than intrigue and anxiously awaiting for what happens next. At the end of this book, JJ is returned and the countdown to Reese and Brantley's wedding is in full effect. I definitely would recommend that this book. While all of these books are part of a series they definitely do have a stand alone feel, and this is one of the few genius of Nicole's writing. Now off to sit with held breath for the next installation of this series. Once again Nicole a job well done.
Where do I begin? Firstly I have to congratulate Nicole Edwards for the way this book is written. There is so much going on in this series, so many characters, so many points of view, how she can have so many characters and their individual storys going on as well as the main story, it's mind blowing and totally awesome all at once. J.J has been kidnapped but who has taken her and why? Will the task force be able to find her and return her to Baz? The pressure is on! Slade, Atticus and Carson are still trying to work out what they are to each other, or if they even want to be anything? We learn some of the history on Slade and Carson, will Slade be able to get past the way Carson treated him? Then there's Baz, he's not coping well to J.J's kidnapping, J.J is 7 months pregnant with his child so it's not just J.J he has to worry about. He also gets dragged into the kidnapping investigation and gets arrested for murder! What did he do? Will he be cleared? Then there's Brantley and Reece, the ultimate couple from this series, love is still strong between them and the wedding is getting closer but right now all their efforts are on finding J.J. Brantley will not rest until he finds his best friend. This book is so good, it answers so many questions from the previous book but not without it's own questions. A massive 5 stars from me and I'm looking forward to the next episode.
My one of favorite couples in my favorite world is back in the next installment of the continuing story of the Off the Books Task Force. This is a continuation of Off Course where we ended with JJ being kidnapped, now everyone on the team and in Coyote Ridge is out trying to find her. Even once she is found safe and sound it is not over. Her kidnappers are still trying to mess with her & Baz’z happiness. Can the team catch them and stop them before someone really gets hurt?
Throughout the entire story we are also seeing more of Evan & Bec’s story unfold and are wondering if they can get it together enough individually to be happy together. We also see more between Slade, Atticus, & Carson. The three of them have a lot to work out both separately and together if the want to be happy in any way. Can they do it or will all three be stubborn for their own reason?
Then there is Brantley and Reese, who are getting ready for their wedding. However, it seems that every time they turn around, they find themselves having to deal with another emergency of some kind. Will any of these fires stop their happy ending? They have been through a lot but are still going strong, they deserve their happy ending but will the vague call from his cousin Travis be the emergency that stops the wedding?
Beautiful, amazing, thrilling, angsty, heart wrenching and heartwarming story and yet another smasher from Nicole Edwards.
The story picks up where “Off course” ended and we find out what happened to J.J. and who took her and why. We go through all of the pain and heartache of the team, Brantley(her best friend) and Baz her boyfriend and the father of the baby still in her womb in their quest to find her and rescue her.
At the same time we follow Slade, Atticus and Carson and them trying to navigate through their feelings for each other and the same goes for Evan and Bec the two single parents of the team. I can’t wait to see what happens with these romances and I am sure Evan and Bec’s romance will get a big storyline at one point because of both of their heart wrenching backgrounds. And will Brantley and Reese’s wedding go as planned or is Brantley’s countdown to the wedding Nicole Edwards way of telling us that something will happen?
I can definitely recommend this book and this series, I will just recommend reading the series in order so you get all of intricate details of the romances and the breadcrumbs that Nicole Edwards gives us throughout the different books.
I got this book from Nicole Edwards and this is my honest opinion and my voluntary review.
My favorite couple is back in a new installment of the continuing sage of the Off the Books series. This is a continuation of the prior book where JJ was kidnapped, and everyone is trying to find her. You would think once JJ is found safe that would be the end, but you would be wrong. Nicole will keep you in suspense.
As usual with any book featuring a member of the Walker clan, you will find yourself unable to stop reading until the end.
Brantley and Reese are getting ready for their wedding but finding themselves having to put out fires before they can get their happy ending. These 2 men have been through a lot but are still going strong.
There are more stories waiting to be written and I am hoping the next one has Slade, Atticus and Carson. Their chemistry is off the charts, and I know it will be a hot one.
I am hoping Evan and Becs can get their act together so they can be happy.
Above all, Nicole books will keep you coming back for more. She is always a one click for me and I will find myself waiting for the next chapter in this series. The wedding is coming, and I know it will be a good one. So, Nicole please write faster.
I cannot get enough of the Off the Books Task Force series and the characters. Brantley & Reese make me smile so much because of how much both of them have grown and how solid their relationship is. I love how excited they are for their upcoming wedding, especially the way Brantley is counting down the days. Makes him even sexier. And Reese is just, sigh. This book is so awesome! JJ is missing as we know she was at the end of Off Course. As always everyone pulls together to find her as quickly as possible considering she is 7 months pregnant. I just love her & Bazz together, and boy do they get some exciting news that makes me so happy. There is so much more going on in this book. The dynamic between Slade, Atticus, and Carson is certainly looking quite interesting and kinda hot in my opinion. Evan and Becs, are, well, Evan and Becs. They really need some help to get their act together and figure things out, they would be so good together and the fact that they both have little girls is sweet. This one kept me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait for more. I am really hoping we finally get the wedding we've all been waiting for in the next book!
Nicole Edwards has done it again with this installment of Brantley Walker: Off the Books! I could not put this book down once I started it. I absolutely love the way this series is so unique, in that each book is a complete standalone, but at the same time it continues the main storyline throughout. This series is such an action packed ride filled with hoys, triumphs, love, heartbreak and most of all family!
This installment picks up right where Off Course left off with the Task Force trying to track down one of their own...JJ....who has been kidnapped. This part of the story was intense and hold onto your seat excitement. Wow!
One of the cool ways in which Nicole Edwards keep you coming back for with this series is the way in which she seamlessly switches between the main , which in this installment is the hunt for JJ and the romantic lives of the people on the task force. Can I just say that I cannot get enough of this series? I love the way she causally introduces new characters and new angles in older, more loved characters' lives. All I have to say is that if you are looking for a great read start the Off the Books series ASAP! What a ride!
Once I started reading Chain Reaction I could not stop! The book begins where Off Course leaves off, JJ is missing and it's all hands on deck from the task force to find her. She is seven months pregnant and is fighting to save her baby to do whatever she can to stall while she knows Baz and her friends are searching for her. There is now a possible threesome relationship that is forming between Slade, Atticus and Carson. Male threesome? I'm in! Brantley is stressed out as his best friend was kidnapped, he needs to find the horrible people who did this to her, and his wedding is just a few short weeks away. Five stars as I loved reading about all the task force couples and caught up with how they were progressing. As always Nicole will have you hanging on your seat as the suspense of solving the mystery of who did it and why. And will our favorite characters survive to the next book??? And OMG the sexy times are endless as there are plenty of M/M and M/F pages that will keep you wanting more!!!!
Nicole Edwards has done it AGAIN. I don't know how she does it, I'm just so glad she does. She is the BEST of the BEST. Brantley Walker: Off the Books Series just gets better with every book. These books aren't just about a couple character's and than she goes on to the next. No, they ALL are a part of every book. They are a true family. Nicole just has a way of bringing them to life. These books are HOT, funny, sad at times and totally keeps you on the edge of your seat. And then you goes a crazy waiting for the next one. You will NEVER be disappointed, well except when you finish the book. Because they are that good. I get so excited when a new book comes out, I put it on my calendar and mark off the days till the next one comes out. Do yourself a favor and start reading this series. You won't be able to put them down. Get a glass of wine(or whatever your drink is) find a comfortable spot and start reading. You will NOT be disappointed, I promise. Nicole Edwards is the BEST!!! Now to wait for the next one. :-)
I was so excited for Chain Reaction because the previous left me with one massive book hangover, well let me just say this read was everything I expected and so much more. If you love romantic suspense you need to read the Brantley Walker: Off The Books Series. This is book 10 in the series and honestly each read gets better than the last. Brantley calls everybody in because one of their own JJ is missing. Finding her safe is the only option so that means bringing in family and friends from Coyote Ridge as well as members from the Off Books Task Force but finding her will just be the beginning because it’s those who took her that need tracking down……. From the moment I picked this book up I thought I was reading something special but when the story kept me on the edge of my seat and the characters and their journey were still with me long after the final word was read I knew Chain Reaction was a very special read that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
Chain Reaction is the 10th installment in the Brantley Walker Off The Books series and is definitely not an easy read as there is a lot going on! Even having read all the books, it's not always easy to follow all the strings and sub-plots. There are four developing relationships with their own unique dynamic as well as a suspense centering on JJ and Baz. It continues straight on from where Off Course ended, but the roots go back even further. The first domino that causes all the others to fall in a chain reaction was toppled when Baz met a mentally ill woman at the bar one night. Now she's back and prepared to destroy their relationship. It takes not only the whole Off The Books team, but all of Coyote Ridge to help bring the situation to a happy for now ending. I can't wait for Reese and Brantley to get their wedding next! I was fortunate to have received an ARC from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.
*4 stars* I've really enjoyed reading this series and every new book I discover something new. Definitely was surprised how quickly you can become attached to certain characters. A great continuation of stories entertwined in one. It doesn't bother that you get POV's of different characters throughout as the author makes it all known very well. I also love the chemistry between each character and their development while trying to figure out what's next in store. I can't wait to see what's next in store.
J.J. has been missing and the team isn't getting any closer to find out who's behind it but slowly clues are falling and maybe there's a chance to figuring out the truth and getting her back safely. As Baz is slowly going out of his mind, everyone around him tries to keep him from falling apart. After a small breakthrough, J.J. finds herself back home but it may not be the end of the threat. Will they keep everyone safe from harm and find the ones responsable for everything?...
Every book is a continuation of the Off the Books characters. This book starts where Off Course ends when JJ disappears. She is kidnapped by Molly and the team with family and friends comes together to find her while the clock is ticking. During the massive search for JJ, the relationships of the task force members are still continuing to be complicated and unresolved. JJ convinces Molly that she can get Baz to take her back so she releases JJ. When JJ is found, things start to get dicey looking for her kidnappers and the search for them continues.
Slade and Atticus are at odds with their feelings that come out in this book. Atticus is still seeing Carson but he can tell that Slade and Carson still have unresolved feelings. Becs and Evan are still walking on eggshells with each other and Reese and Brantley are counting down the days until their wedding.
I love this series and can't wait for the next installment to find out what will happen in everyone's lives.
This was book 10 in the "Brantley Walker: Off the Books" series. This book picked up where book 9 left JJ has been kidnapped by two psychos one of them being Molly Ryan who pretended to be pregnant by him even though he didn't sleep she was crazy she wanted to cut JJ's baby out and her psycho friend was willing to do anything for her. Baz will do anything to get her back. JJ reminded calm and cool and got Molly to release her. This was a good read. I really hope that Ms. Edwards writes about Slade, Carson and Atticus because I know these three are going to be hot. I did feel that something was missing in this book. I did think it was funny when Molly called Baz like he would want her after she kidnapped his girlfriend. I love reading this series. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading to reading the next book in this series.
Nicole always comes up with a good plot, her writing is great, I'm just really not loving all the focus on the other characters. Personally, I would've preferred this series to have stayed more focused on Brantley and Reese.
I just don't think every task force members relationship needs to be explored. Evan and Becs are, honestly, pretty boring. Carson/Slade/Atticus could be interesting, but it would be better in the WOCR series, like she did with Trey's story. There's something about JJ that I've just never connected with, so I really don't care too much about her storyline either.
Most people love this series and that's great! I know I'm in the minority here. I've really loved the characters in her other books/series, so I'm not sure what the problem is for me?
I do feel like it's building up to some sort of big surprise twist, so I am still very much interested in the series as far as the overall storyline is concerned!
First, my repeated warning I like to add before I review the books in this series. This is a continuation series and the books are not meant to be read as standalone stories. I do not have spoilers in my reviews of the book I’m currently reviewing, but there may be spoilers for previous books in the series.
Wow! I mean…WOW! After the way the last book ended, I was eager to get into this one. I was on the edge of my seat to see how things would play out. I love JJ and she is amazing in this book. Fans of this author well know she is great at writing her spicy scenes. I look forward to them. Yet I was so invested in JJ’s story and the way all the cogs were working to keep the wheel turning that I didn’t even notice or miss that it was sans spiciness until well into the book.
As usual, a lot is going on in this book. Other than the JJ story, the most prominent was the Atticus/Slade/Carson will they or won’t they. It’s getting good with those three! Some new faces are briefly introduced that I hope to see again. The simmer between Becs and Evan makes some progress. I’m here for all of it.
I realized while reading this book how much I love the format of this series. In some ways, it reminds me of a soap opera. (I never really watched telenovelas, but from my understanding that may be a more apt description than soap opera.) Each book has a story all its own, but the cast of characters continue to live their personal lives outside of that story. Weddings are being planned, relationships growing, new friends are being made, etc. I can sink into the world and visit some of my favorite fictional people and laugh, cry, and celebrate along with them. While I never would have thought this style of series would be my thing, I am fully invested. I hope it keeps going and going.
**I received an ARC of this book courtesy of the author. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely**
Whoa, baby, what a ride. We left off at the end of the last book with JJ being kidnapped, and we start off here with a lot of action and emotion directly following the realization she is gone. This book has the balance between action, drama, romance, dream, and plot that I love most about this series. Woven in with the team trying to find JJ is more about the team members and their histories, as well as the development of certain relationships and situations. I love that with each book in this series we get to know each team member more. And JJ and Baz’s latest news?? YES!! I can’t recommend this series enough. I am so excited for Brantley and Reese’s WEDDING (AHHHH FINALLY!!). I also can’t wait to see where Nicole Edwards takes the whole team next.. and to get some answers to the questions living rent-free in my head!!
Just when you think it's safe to sit back and relax....the past will ALWAYS come back to haunt you. As per usual it is never a dull moment for the Off the Books Task Force, as the countdown to Brantly and Reese's wedding draws near the unthinkable happens, a beloved team member is kidnapped by a psycho blast from the past. So now it is all hands on deck and no one in the town of Coyote Ridge will rest until they are returned.
This book was an amazing read! Secrets were revealed, newfound truths were told, and the sexy steamy sparks were flying. Nicole is a literary mastermind who keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end and always leaves you wanting more and more with every last word written! If you have not started this series, I ask you Why not? You will not regret a moment spent reading these beauties.
I am absolutely, thoroughly invested in this storyline and what happens with the crew! And that's part of what makes it so phenomenal; Nicole weaves every person in this story into their own creation and it's SO good! I have LOVED seeing Reese and Brantley grow in this series. From start until now, their story has to be my favorite and them finding themselves and each other is a beautiful thing (especially Reese). Baz and JJ are another favorite and their story takes an interesting turn in this book too! Slade, Atticus, and Carson are also a very interesting add-on to this story and one I cannot WAIT to read!!!!!! And Evan and Becs are interesting too! It makes me sad this series is winding down to the end but I am absolutely here for it and I cannot wait! Another masterpiece from Nicole!
Chain Reaction, book ten in the Brantley Walker: Off the Books series is just as action packed as the previous books in the series as the team sets out to keep one of their own safe. This book also focuses on quite a few different relationships, some established, some building, some we just get a peek at and that is what I am loving about this series. There are so many characters to get to know and become invested in and we get the privilege of coming along for the ride. I highly recommend that you read this series in order because each book feels like a continuation of a long story filled with relationships they are evolving and crimes that to be solved but mostly it feels like there is a big picture being drawn and each book is a piece of that big picture.
If you have been following OFF THE BOOKS TASK FORCE, you'll recall the whopper of a cliffhanger we were left with at the end of OFF COURSE when Nicole Edwards blew our minds with having J.J. kidnapped in broad daylight right in the center of town no less. So we pick up where we left off, with J.J. in the hands of her kidnappers, now the task force is searching for her and while they're doing that we get to see what is going on in their lives as well.
Who would want to take J.J. and what do they want? Will the task force find her before anything happens to her or her unborn baby?
This is the next instalment of the Bradley Walter OTB Team. In this book it picks ups where we last left off and understand what a certain character was doing and now it make sense. How this character and another previous one creates chaos. JJ gets kidnapped and follow the team as they try to get her back. Other members of the Walker clan pop up and we see further continuation of other member storylines. Bradley and Reese get closer to their wedding date, Evan and Becs are they happening or note, and there is the Slade, Carson and Atticus situation. Nicole does it again with another great story. I love how she threads different stories within the book. She keeps you in suspense and wanting more.
Chain Reaction is the next installment in the Off the Books series and not one to let pass by! If you are wrapped up in these characters like I am, you will love this continuation of the story.
The countdown is on until Brantley and Reese tie the knot, but a lot is going on in their world. JJ and Baz reconnect after the craziness with JJ's kidnapping. Atticus, Carson and Slade were a larger part of this plot and there are definitely more exciting things to come for the three of them. There's also hope for Evan and Becs in the future!
Now we just have to wait for Nicole to unveil all her magic and connected timelines. I know there is so much more to come! Don't miss out on all of this amazingness!
I love this series so far. The cliffhanger that the last book left us in was resolved uneventful . Thank goodness for JJ and the peanut! The story of Slade/Atticus/Carson took stage and I don't mined the MMM but I could not get into Carson. I love Slade and Atticus how he gets under the skin of Reese is so funny. I love Slade and Atticus together but I just don't feel Carson belongs maybe its just me. Maybe its because Slade wants to settle and Atticus has the need to belong. This book along with the love triangle of the above leaves you wondering what has Travis gotten himself into now?! Not that you want someone to leave or anything but if Carson were to leave Coyote Ridge I wouldn't be upset.
This was one page turn after another. I couldn’t stop reading it until I got to the end. JJ is one smart cookie. Even with all that has happened to her, she is a fighter. Loved the news she and Baz got. Things are definitely looking up for the two of them.
The heat between Slade, Atticus and Carson is off the charts. My brain nearly melted. There is a lot that needs to be resolved between them. I’m excited to see what’s going to happen with them.
Reece and Brantley are still hotter than heck. The wedding is coming! Not soon enough lol. It’s good that Nicole is a fast writer. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
This is the 10th book in the series and each new book just gets better and better. There are so many characters and story lines, things constantly changing, but it's just enough to keep you interested without getting confused. Nicole is on top of her game with this book, keeping you locked in from page one. I cannot get enough of Brantley and Reese, JJ and Baz, and the rest of the task force. The fact that their story is spread out over multiple books makes it seem so realistic I sometimes forget this story is fictional. Beautifully written with the perfect amount of love, steam, laughs, and suspense. You do not want to miss this one!
