The only thing the country boy and the city girl have in common is that they both think they’ve sworn off dating…

Jacob Cassidy is a good man with a streak of mischief a mile wide. He’s generous, smart, and the guy in small town Trinity Falls most everyone comes to with animal troubles. Unfortunately, his family has deemed him “hopeless” because he’ll never get serious about a woman.

But when the house next to Cassidy Farm sells to a beautiful girl and her lively young son just before the holidays, Jacob finds himself helplessly fascinated with the pair.

Hope Turner has sworn off men. Her beauty has won her nothing but unwanted attention from guys, coldness from other women, and a terrible marriage to a man who loved her face but not her heart. The light of her life is her funny, kind-hearted son, Nick, who longs for the freedom of wide-open spaces they just can’t find in the city. So, when her husband divorces her and remarries, she and her beloved boy finally move out to the country to live the simple life introverted Hope has always craved – just the two of them.

But when her new job behind the scenes at the local radio station turns into something far more public, Hope may just have to rely on the kindness of the too-handsome cowboy next door.

Jacob finds that he’s excited to help out, especially if it means more time with his new six-year-old bestie and his soft-spoken mom. Suddenly, he and Nick are having the time of their lives doing fun home projects and making excessive plans for Christmas.

But can Jacob get Hope’s heart back in the saddle?

And when all is said and done, is the happiest bachelor in Trinity Falls even ready to win the love of the shy city girl?

I loved being back in Trinity Falls again.

Hope and her son, Nick, left the city and moved to Trinity Falls, into their first owned home. When they visit the farm next to their land, they meet their nighbour, Jacob, and they form an easy friendship right away.

Cowboy's Christmas Hope was a great read, I've finished it too quickly.

Clara Pines writing is fluent and effortless, the storyline is sweet, and the characters are pleasant.

Jacob, Hope and Nick conquered me at first page. Their relationship is endearing, to me they felt like they were a family as soon as they met.
I understand Hope fears to start a new relationship after a failed marriage, but you can see that Jacob is an incredible man, altruist and kind, at first encounter. They can tell you he is a ladies' men but, maybe, he was only waiting for the right woman to tame him. I cheered for them from start to finsh, they deserve to be happy.

I loved Jacob, Hope and let's not forget Nick. This sweet romance filled my heart with incandescent joy and gave me a serious case of the warm fuzzies. Swoon and feels abound, as do cuteness and heart melt.

Is this supposed to be a romance? If so, author failed BIG TIME and I got ripped off & wasted my time!

Let me start by saying that I paid for this masterpiece based on the fact it is labeled under fictional ROMANCE. So color me stumped when 99% of the story there is NOTHING romantic happening between the MCs other then just plain friendship. Let me repeat -NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. ZERO.
No kiss. No romantic feelings or attraction, no heavy patting, no sex, no deep conversations, no getting to know one another, etc. So placing one kiss at the end with an ILY exchange and engagement that came out of thin air, does NOT a fictional romance make people!

I paid to read a romance. I did not pay to read a book about a divorced mother raising her son alone and having the "Hero" (aka next door neighbor) lend a hand here and there to help her with chores around the house and babysitting. This is the entire story plot. All about how he bonds with her kid by helping with chores around the house, training their dog, cutting down a Christmas tree and inviting them over to his parent's house (where he still lives) for dinner. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting to see where the romance would come in up until I got to the last page.

Hero is portrayed as a player/manhore who doesn't do commitment but we don't get to see this or learn anything about his past. He acts like a man-child. Heroine, the adult in the room BTW, never learns this major fact about him and one would think that is important if you are going to spend the rest of your life with him (STD's anyone?).

He thinks she is very beautiful, which was already established on Chapter 1 that she is stunning and that people typically only see her as that and never learn the inner her. She married young and got hurt by her ex and while she a great Mother to her son, she is not ready for another relationship. This is the theme for both of them throughout every chapter until the end.

On the last two pages, he realizes he loves her and wants to be a family. There is a kiss and an exchange of ILY's, an introduction of them being boyfriend and girlfriend to on the same breath going to an engagement. Say what? The End.

We never get heroine's POV that she is in love with him and wants to marry him (especially as she says throughout the story that she is not ready for another relationship). So how did she get to suddenly wanting to marry him? How did HE get there?

Yes, there is a line or two that heroine says he is hot and a tinge of jealousy when she thinks he is going on a date or some girl bidding on him but it's easily forgotten. Then also Hero, he out of the blue one moment thinks how he would like to be a part of their family so decides he wants to date her because all his friends have a significant other and are happy and he is the last man standing. So we go from all that to HEA?

And that is the crux of the matter. I understand writing is hard and a lot of work but as a PAYING reader, I expect to get what I paid - not a bunch of filler pages based on no plot or story at all.

3½⭐ Just one more chapter has become "just one more book in the series". The town, the people, the stories... all flow together and make a great series. Although I would suggest reading each book in order it is not 100% necessary as each book is a stand alone, but the background families and friends makes it easier to follow the stories if read in order. And of course there are free Bonus Scenes available for download by clicking on the link at the end of each book.

In this clean contemporary romance, we are back in Trinity Falls where nowadays, the stories belong to the Cassidy siblings. This time it’s Jacob Cassidy’s turn to find his HEA.
Jacob, though considered the playboy of the family, is also a man with a big heart , an “animal whisperer”, and a good guy to have in your corner.
After her divorce, Hope Turner and her boy Nick, have recently moved to town to start a new life as the new manager of the local radio station . Her only interest is in making Nick’s life a very happy own. After her disastrous marriage, men are not in her agenda.
But what happens when this handsome , sweet and helpful man comes into her’s and Nick’s life? A man that cares deeply for her son while Nick’s own father has ignored him?
Will these two realize they belong together, or will their past determine their future?
I have to confess that it took me a little while to warm up to Jacob since he was described as hopeless and I wasn’t sure how reliable he would be. But he proved me wrong.
This is a story about finding love when one least expects it, and a reminder that love is not always easy or magical. It takes an effort and needs to be nurtured .
A good addition to the series and I particularly enjoyed the double entendre with the title.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by 1852 Media. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I simply Adore Clara Pines’ Trinity Falls Books. They are set around Christmas Time, which I could read year round, but being as it is that time of year right now, these books seem more magical than they already are. Cowboy’s Christmas Hope is no exception. Jacob is the “wild child” of the Cassidy family and Ian’s twin brother. He got a heart of gold and isn’t a bad guy, he just loves life and doesn’t take things too seriously. He likes to live on the wild side. So, when he meets his new neighbor’s son Nick he finds he’s met a kindred spirit. The boy is funny, inquisitive and always up for an adventure. Of course it doesn’t hurt that his mom, Hope, is a looker and super easy to talk to. As for Hope, there is something about watching Jacob and her son interact and his taking Nick under his wing that makes her smile. But Hope has been hurt in the past and not looking for a relationship. In fact she’s decided the only man she needs in her life is her son. But when she finds herself needing help and she turns to Jacob, is it possible there is more in the cards for them?

This is a touching, heart melting, wide smile story that this reader Highly recommends. In fact I recommend grabbing up all of the books set in the sweet, romantic world of Trinity Falls, you won’t regret a single one.

When Hope and her son, Nick move from the big city to Trinity Falls, it was for Hope and her son to start over. Hope has a job at the radio station, WCCR as a producer. She’s excited to be there. She hopes that her son will love being in the country. He’s the only man she needs in her life. She meets Jacob Cassidy, a loner who thinks he’ll be a bachelor for ever. He just out for a good time. He works at, Cassidy Farm. When he meets them he seems to have a pull toward them. What’s that all about? Her son could use a male friend in his life and Jacob is willing to be there. Jacob encourages Hope as she has to take up slack at the radio station. He gives her confidence to do the things she has to to make the station a success. The more time they are together, the more Jacob thinks he could have this. Both of them in his life. Sometimes love has a way of surprising you. Sometimes finding love just happens. The characters are wonderful. Hope, Nick and Jacob deserves a chance at love, becoming a family and letting the past go. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily. Worth the read

We are back in Trinity Falls! I loved this book so much. The make you feel good feeling this brought. I'm sad the holidays are over, but this book let holiday magic feeling last just a tad bit longer. I so loved Jacob, Hope, and her son Nick. Nick is an adorable little guy and to see how much he blossoms in this small town warmed my heart. Hope is hoping for a fresh start in Trinity Falls and she is soon going to realize just how special this place really is. Jacob has a reputation, but Hope brings out all new feelings for this bachelor. The friendship and bond he creates with Nick will melt any heart. I loved all the Christmas activities that he does with Hope and Nick. Hope has gotten her heart trampled on, but she might just find that it will heal up quite nicely to risk a second chance at love. This is such a sweet story that just that touches the heart!! A must read and great way to start my 2024 reading!

Once again I was pulled into Trinity Falls and Cassidy family. This time it was Jacobs turned to see that there was more to life than just playing the field. When he met Hope and her adorable son Nick he felt an instant connection. He and Nick form a special bond but staying away from his mom turns out to be a lot harder than he thought it would be.

Hope has always wanted to live in a small town and she's sworn off men. She is more than happy being single and a mom to her son. But having Jacob around with them, she sees him for what he really is and that's a man with a heart of gold. Both of them will have to decide if opening up and risking their hearts is worth the risk or will the Christmas spirit will bring them HEA they both long for.

Hope and Jacob's story is wonderful and heartwarming. They are amazing characters who deserve happiness and love. Not only is Hope's son Nick a sweetie pie, but their dog Zipper is an absolute hoot! He reminds me of one of our dogs when he was a puppy (but I would not relish a replay of the food being stolen from the table, as funny as that was!) I would truly love to be a part of the Cassidy family, as they all support and care for each other. A feeling of joy pervades the book, despite some of the emotional baggage carried by the MCs. I have enjoyed all of Clara Pines' books, but I feel like this is the best one yet, in terms of writing style and humorous elements; I was truly moved by the characters' emotions and was fully immersed in the narrative.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

After her divorce Hope and her son Nick have moved to Trinity Falls where she will be taking over production at the local radio station. She isn’t looking for love or a relationship but the friendship she has built with her neighbor Jacob is exactly what she needs but what happens when it begins to feel like more?

Jacob has always kept his relationships casual while everyone around him has found their person. As he spends time with Hope and Nick he sees what life could be like and he is determined to show her that he is the man that she and her son needs.

This is an uplifting story about love, family and new beginnings as Hope and Jacob show us how special love and the holiday season can be with the right person.

Another visit to one of my favourite fictional towns and this time in Trinity Falls it’s time to get to know single mum Hope and local cowboy Jacob’s journey. If you are looking for a book that will leave you feeling all fuzzy and smiling look no further than Cowboy’s Christmas Hope (Trinity Falls Icicle Christmas #2).
Clara Pines knows how to write a story that has you falling in love from the first few pages, she gives us characters we become invested in and a Community we can’t get enough off. I loved everything about this book, I fell hard and fast for Jacob and Hope is the woman I would love in my corner but it was the bond that Jacob built with Hope’s son Nick that to this story to another level. Can’t wait for my next visit to this magical town.

Jacob Cassidy is well known for being a hopeless bachelor. Handsome, smart, the whole package, but not ready to settle down.
Hope Turner has also sworn off of relationships. Her ex husband has remarried and expecting a new baby. She takes this as a sign to make a move.
Her son, Nick, is her life. She decides to move from the city to a small community known as Trinity Falls, where the people are friendly and trustworthy.
The farm she moves to is next to Cassidy Farms, the family farm of Jacob.
Jacob is crazy about Nick and the sparks fly between him and Hope. They become closer, which creates a problem for both of them. Will they decide that being together is important enough to see what happens?

I will never get tired of visiting Trinity Falls at Christmas! Clara Pines' sweet romance series is my favorite series by far, and I love watching the eligible bachelors & bachelorettes get paired up, two-by-two.
In this installment, Hope moved to Trinity Falls to give her & her son the simple country life she's always wanted. She wasn't looking for love, and I loved how Jacob stepped up to help hope with Nick after her job morphed into more than she expected.
The scenes at the Trinity Falls Annual Adopt-a-Pet-a-Thon were some of my favorite in the book, especially because Hope & Nick got to take home a "souvenir." 🐶 This book, like all the Trinity Falls Sweet romance books, will have you laughing till you cry & then crying tears of joy at the happily ever after.

One of the nicest feel-good Christmas books ever is this one. It's impossible not to feel the love. Although Jacob had never met the right girl, he had always been a player. He feels something when he first meets Hope and Nick, but will he be able to give up his old habits? With her new position at WCCR radio, Hope has a sharp sense of humor that I adore. Jacob has the most wonderful family imaginable. This book has so much love in it that it makes you smile. There are also some really humorous moments. I heartily endorse this book. Clara Pines truly excelled in this one. It is a timeless favorite of mine. “I received ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.”

This story is amazing! What a treasure to be in Trinity Falls. Jacob is a loner who believes he is happy with being a single man going through life and having fun without being tied down in a relationship. Hope is a divorced mother who has a young son who relocates to Trinity Falls. She thinks the only man she needs in her life is her son. One fateful trip to Cassidy Farms changes all their minds. A slow building relationship develops between projects, auctions, outings and family get togethers. The relationship between them is destined and loved the role Nick and Justin played at the auction. Another fabulous story and great addition to this series. 5+ stars!

Dreamy sigh worthy

I loved this book . This book has sweet characters who deal with every day situations. Jacob is a handsome and sweet man who befriends the new neighbors who just happens to be a beautiful lady and son. Hope is new to the community, she is why and beautiful and has a job with the radio station in town. She loves being behind the scenes. She becomes the town favorite when an emergency at the station demands she be the voice on air.
Hope is finding out things about herself and calling in love at the same time.
Sweet clean read. You will see why it is dreamy sigh worthy. Grab your copy today.

a cowboy and a divorced mom

Hope has come to this small town for a new start for her and her son. Her dream has always been to live in the country and she finds the perfect place out of town by a tree farm. Accidentally meeting Jacob they developed a friendship. He volunteers to help with her house and he and Nick her son become fast friends. Jacob has a reputation of serial dating with no commitment and he is happy that way but something about Hope is different. After Hope’s unhappy marriage she has no need for another man in her life. She can handle things on her own.

This is a sweet clean romance with a big family, small town life and a precious dog.

I've read a few stories in this series and while clean romance isn't something I read much of, I have always enjoyed them. Like the others, this is a well crafted and written story which is easy to read. All of the characters are believable and there is no great villain, just normal people living normal lives and falling in love. However, while I liked Jacob and Hope, I never really felt any chemistry between them. They always just felt like friends. Even after Jacob starting developing feelings for Hope, it felt more like he should be feeling this way instead of actually feeling like that. This is a pleasant read, but not great.

I read the Cowboy's Christmas Hope by Clara Pines through the Kindle Unlimited program. Holly, Jacob and young Nick's story just touched my heart. Two people who are not looking for a relationship but are drawn together. A young boy who is looking for a father figure as his Father is very distance. Take these three people, Trinity Falls and the magic of Christmas and you have a book...no a series that is a must read. This series is set around Christmas but can be read and enjoyed anytime. Share it with a friend, your Mom, your young preteen daughter or your Grandmom and they will all enjoy them. These are sweet, clean books. Enjoy them anytime because even if it not Christmas, this series will make you feel it is.

Hope and Jacob are not interested in dating. They have sworn off love. Of course one thing that Hope didn't count on was the friendship of Jacob with her son Nick. The three have formed this amazing bond similar to family. If only Hope and Jacob could see over the walls they have built around their hearts.
I have to say little Nick has stolen my heart.
This story will give you all the feels and leave you with the "hope" that love does exist and that a true relationship is a partnership.

Finding Their Perfect Match

Hope and her son Nick moved to the country so they could be in a small town and Nick could be safe playing outdoors. They met their neighbor Jacob Cassidy. Jacob and Nick became fast friends. Hope who normally very shy opened up to Jacob and his family. She even adopted a very active golden retriever named Zipper. This story had many laugh out loud moments because of Zipper. Hope and Jacob found their perfect partner in each other. Nick ended up with a friend and father that he always wanted.

Hope Floats

Great little romance. Jacob Cassidy is a man around town. He's fun loving and a jokester. Hope Turner is new to Trinity Falls. She and her son, Nick, are there for her new job and to start over after a divorce. Hope is quiet nd reserved, and beautiful. Jacob, a hardworking cowboy loves a good time. But Hope and Nick may be the Christmas magic Jacob needs to anchor his life. Hope brings out Jacob's responsible and loving side. Jacob brings out Hope's humor and sensitivity. Together they become a special family.

Cowboy’s Christmas Hope

Hope and Nick were living next door to Jacob. They had bought one of the houses which had been restored. Jacob heard a lady calling out for her son, Nick. He had gone into the corn maze and not come back out. She was really fearful for going in but she had to find him for it was closing. Jacob went in to find this young man, she followed him, and Nick was sitting and watching a bird who was not moving. This was just the beginning of a new friendship, enjoy their journey.

Trinity Falls is my comfort read at the holidays every year! I look forward to cozy evenings where I put on my cozy PJs, curl up in the recliner, and read the next book in the series. These characters and this town are just so heartwarming. I loved Jacob and Hope’s book and loved the themes of Hope sure she was swearing off men because she’d been hurt before, and Jacob being a bit of a playboy who was sure he never wanted to settle down, and then their little family just clicked for the holidays. The scenes with Nick were so cute and I really enjoyed this. 5/5 stars.

Cowboy's Christmas Hope is a heartwarming holiday read. Two people not looking for a relationship. Jacob has watched his cousins and brother never thought a puppy, a new neighbor and her son would have him thinking other wise. Hope is new to town. With her son in tow she is ready to start her new job in a small town she's always wanted to live in. I love the pull between Jacob and Hope. This is such a sweet read. I could not get enough of Jacob, Hope and Nick. You really need to read this now.

Cowboy’s Christmas Hope

Jacob is the Cassidy boy least likely to settle down according to his family. When he finds Nick in the Christmas maze cuddling an injured bird, he does not realize his future will change. Hope Turner doesn’t know what to think of her helpful neighbor. He relates to her son in such a sweet way. The more they are together the stronger their relationship seems to get. Will Jacob finally find the one that will make him want to settle down?
