None of the characters deserved sympathy. There were so many misunderstandings that could have been avoided with communication. I didn't end up finishing it because I found the way teenagers were portrayed to be wrong.

Emily is confronted with her long ago love and father of her child she gave up for adoption. She must struggle with her emotions and telling Jackson about his child. She must deal with old family problems and her growing feelings for Jackson as together they go in search of, find and connect with their daughter.

Know that all persons that go through adoption isn't easy no matter which way it goes. I finished this novel on 26th of October 2008. This yr. I really enjoyed the book. I even choked up a bit during parts of the book when it was said. Didnt actually cry though. close.
