After graduating from Yale University, Tracy Kelleher spent the next few years working in Italy. She returned to the United States to study medieval history in graduate school at Cornell University, but decided that academic life was not for her. She migrated to the Big Apple, where she worked at an advertising agency. Fast-forward through marriage, two children, one dog, and freelance writing for newspapers and magazines. After her children entered school, she became a staff newspaper reporter and later the communications director for a non-profit organization that mediated disputes in Central and Eastern Europe. Eventually she returned to publishing as a magazine editor. Tracy sold her first romance to Kensington while she was a reporter and finally quit her day job after she found a home writing at Harlequin. Tracy values the flexible lifestyle that writing affords her. She has carried her laptop across three continents and swears that having to write in places such as Australia and Southern France has not hindered her ability to focus on her work. She currently lives in New Jersey and is hard at work on her next novel.

2nd in the Return to Hopewell series featuring Drew and Tamara, who have very tight ties to the characters from the first book. I loved being back in Hopewell. I love the entire town with its quirky, meddling neighbors and loving family and friends. I love the way the Trombo and Longfellow families have blended together to create this giant extended family of people that really show up for one another. This author has given this series a great sense of place and these characters are all so fully developed and well rounded that it’s easy to imagine myself living in Hopewell among them.

The best part of the story is Buddy the dog, who also played a huge role in the first book 🐾 This whole town loves dogs! It’s fabulous.

Another in the Return to Hopewell series, in which Drew Trombo needs time away from his first responder responsibilities. When he is placed at the same table as an out-of-town reporter, Tamara Giovanessi, he decides they will be breakfast buddies as they get to know each other.

Soon, the characters in this cute little town begin to work their magic, drawing these two people together when they least expect it--until they are paired to play a piano duet and both realize that neither wants to leave for their previous lives, even though offers have come in.

But will they stay together? Can they each accept that love is what they now share?
