Lock is a man haunted by past mistakes, struggling to rebuild his life. Devastated by the loss of his twin sister to a drug overdose, he now bears the weight of raising her infant son. Overwhelmed by grief and the responsibility thrust upon him, Lock seeks solace in the very substances that stole his only sibling. But when the president of his motorcycle club lays down an ultimatum, Lock has no choice but to face his heartache. With a chance for redemption, his only priorities are being a good father and regaining his club’s trust, even if he'll never feel worthy.

Freshly single and excited to regain her independence, Brenna stumbles upon a problem that could cost her more than she ever imagined. Unwilling to be a pawn in her ex's dangerous game, she steps into the ruthless world of the motorcycle club. But instead of finding men who live up to the horrific rumors, Brenna finds allies in an unexpected place. The MC members, appalled by her ex's callousness, promise to protect her and seek vengeance against her ex. Assigned to safeguard Brenna, Lock finds himself drawn to her strength and vulnerability.

As they navigate a path filled with challenges and desire, Lock and Brenna's connection deepens. But the question can their attraction survive the stark differences in their worlds?

Brenna, an outsider to the MC, and Lock, a man desperate to rebuild his life and be a good father, face an uncertain future. But when they believe the most significant threat is behind them, Brenna’s ex emerges as a more formidable adversary than imagined. A relentless enemy, he threatens to tear them apart before they can confront their inner demons and find happiness.

This one was amazing. Poor Lock and to go through hell to get where he is now, but he made it. I loved them together, and little Caleb is just so cute. I can't wait for the next book.

Lock was the fifth book in the Hell’s Handler’s MC Florida Chapter by Lilly Atlas. I’m a huge fan of the author and series and Lock did not disappoint.

Lock spiraled after the death of his twin. But once the layers were pealed back, he was strong, alpha, protective, smart and loyal. Brenna was snarky, independent, smart and came with loads of sass. Together they were sexy and fun. Brenna was thrown into a potentially dangerous situation from her high society dirtbag ex, which the MC proved to be her savior. I enjoyed both the relationship development and the storyline progression. I also enjoyed the supporting MC cast as central to the storyline.

All in all, it was a quick and entertaining read with a great intro into the next book for the MC VP, Ty, and I can’t wait!

Lock deserved the amazing and kind Brenna after all his losses and bad decisions. Brenna deserved to be loved and cherished after her crappy ex threw her to the wolves. Thankfully they were badass but kind wolves.

This series is a quick MC reads with spice and romance. I’m really enjoying it.

Sorry it took me so long to read this. Amazon has a habit of being like, "Oh yeah, this book from this author you really like had a book come out like a month ago. I guess you probably want to read it, huh?" B@s@ards. I swear that's been the start to every review of this series for a while now. Somebody needs to TELL ME. I lost precious reading time with this lovely book. And it was quite lovely. Ms. Atlas did it again...as always. Fantastic story.

I was pleased that Lock's past drug use wasn't as heavily scrutinized as it could have been. He's more disappointed that he let everyone down. He's not dwelling on the fact of how that happened too, too much. I appreciated that. Because let's be honest, there are many ways to tumble down, but it's typically drugs and alcohol that get the worst scrutiny (followed by gambling, which was also addressed in a completely different character). I also appreciated that Lock didn't need Brenna to fix him. He had been doing great on his own. She was just an added benefit to him recovering his life. I'm thankful that Ms. Atlas didn't go down the 12 steps rabbit hole and stuck with a very solid plan for Lock.

I liked Brenna. She was sweet and vulnerable, but she had her "tough" moments when she had to step up. The thing I liked was that she had little freak-outs afterwards, like that isn't a normal thing to do. I can't stand it when we have characters who have never been in a dangerous situation before and they shake it off like it's fine because they're an outgoing, spunky female. *eyeroll* She are Lock were so cute together, and the sparks really flew. She was under no obligation to step up for Caleb, but she did because she's a great person and because she really liked Lock.

Overall, this is classic Lilly Atlas stuff. If you like this author, then you will love this book. Same great writing. Solid plot. She's one of the best MC romance authors out there because there's actually some character and story depth there. Trust me, I've tried to find other authors like her. I've found maaaaybe one, though the writing wasn't quite the same. Most are the same old tropes with cliched, wooden characters and tired plot lines. This right here is gold.

I was eagerly awaiting reading Lock after enjoying the other Hells Handlers books so much. I started off loving being back in the HHMC universe but that took a huge left turn during the “3rd act bad thing” that happens in every Lilly Atlas book…

Why the actual f*ck is there not a trigger warning for human trafficking?? I went back after finishing the book and checked, there is not one! This is like Haunting Adeline sh*t (which I am not a fan of).

SPOILERS BELOW:

Brenna is sold to the highest bidder and almost SA’d and is trapped with a 22 y/o girl who has been multiple times. And they’re kind of hinting at the end that Ty the VP of the MC and Kelsie the traumatized 22year old are about to become something. I will be not sticking around if that is the case. I know in Rocket that Chloe was kidnapped prior etc but I don’t remember her being that young. I noticed a lot of talk around trafficking in this book relating to the woman’s shelter and it literally happening. I don’t want to read a series about this.

One of my favorite things about Lilly Atlas and her books is that from everything I remember, most if not all the FMCs are adults with fully formed brains. And she usually has a good grasp on the former characters personalities, but in this one everyone felt like a goofball horndog? Maybe I just need to reread the Florida HH chapter idk.

Overall I’m pretty disappointed with how this turned out after being so in love with the previous books I ordered a signed copy.

I’m so happy that Lock got his redemption. If anyone deserves it, it’s him.

Lock has been through so much hurt in his life. I loved watching him find his way and accepting that he’s going to be a great dad. Brenna and Lock both found each other in a time of need and I loved watching them grow together!

It was so nice to see Lock find his own happiness that all of his brothers have with their women. Lock and Brenna definitely deserve each other!

Lock is the 5th book in the Hell's Handlers MC: Florida chapter by Lilly Atlas. It's a single-dad romance about addiction, redemption, and acceptance. I suggest reading Jinx before reading this one to have the full story.
Lock's world came falling down around him with the death of his twin sister and being left with her newborn son they were able to save. When he struggles with her death and learning to be a father he turns to the same drugs that killed his sister. In Jinx Lock was given an intervention from the club and went to rehab. Lock fights to be the father he needs to be and to prove himself worthy of his brothers. Brenna is a woman caught up in a bad situation thanks to her no good ex-fiance. He owed money to the club and when he couldn't pay he gave them Brenna. Luckily the club turns out not to be what she thought and they keep her safe instead of using her like she expected. Lock feels an instant connection to her and steps up feeling the need to protect her. When Brenna gets herself in trouble trying to help the club Lock has to save her before it's too late.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. Lock's road to recovery was inspiring and heartwarming. You could feel the struggle he went through every day not to fall back into the numb darkness. Brenna was the perfect woman to be by his side to help remind him why he had to fight and stay strong. The way the club pulled together around him as a family and understood his addiction without holding it against him showed just how much of a family unit they are.
*I received this book for free. I voluntarily gave an honest review.*

After his twin died Lock couldn't handle the grief and in top of it too care for his nephew as well. And before long his prez demanded he go to rehab or lose his patch.
Now Lock is back home with his nephew and taking it one day at a time. On a routine money pick up things go a bit sideways when the guy send his girlfriend to do the drop and uses her as collateral until he can pay the rest of the the money. This is when he meets Brenna...

Brenna is so glad that she finally broke up with her ex, Oliver. Things were just not working out and she needed to move on with her life. When she finds an envelope of his she, being the nice person she is, offers to drop the package for him and comes face to face with the Hells Handler's MC.

She is totally freaked as she has read about MC being violent, but from the minute she meets these guys and their club they are the total opposite. She can't help her attraction to Lock even though she should be running in the other direction. But it seems like her douche of an ex was into so much more things than she ever realized. And when things go crazy the only people left standing to help is the MC 😊

A bit of angst, alot of amazing chemistry between these two. I loved that Lock was totally honest with her about his past. And even though Brenna didn't want anything serious in the end she couldn't help but fall for Lock and his adorable little one. I am so looking forward to the next book. Looks like it's going to be another winner💖💖

This was another fantastic read in this ongoing series we just loved it. The story starts off with a bang draws you right in and keeps us glued to the pages the entire time to the bitter end.

Lock was such a swoony character glad he got his you-know-what together as was staying on the right path. Thanks the Curly the man was on the mend but, Lock will face some pretty tough challenges to come but, now he has a special kind of spitfire in his corner to make sure he has the support he needs for what is to come. Lock with his son was enough to make a woman's ovaries explode. LOL

Breeana was a favorite of ours she was funny & sexy had a wicked sense of humor was feisty and was an all-around gem of a woman.

The story was full of drama and had a couple whose chemistry was off the charts and also perfect together. The plot was engaging a page-turner if you will. Not liking how Breeana ended up in the care of Hell Handlers Club but, we did love the fact she found something she was always looking for. Loved the old ladies and how they welcomed her into the fold even going forward with or without Lock the old ladies had already claimed the woman.

The story took a few twists and turns and had a bit of danger and suspense but, it was also about forgiving oneself moving on to heal finding love when you least expect it but, also friendships and love that will last a lifetime.

Love that the old ladies are a big part of these stories too busy bodies they add so much fun to these stories and make you laugh. Locks son just melted your heart. Awesome story and we loved it!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Lock is a man who had his life changed in the blink of an eye. He is grieving the loss of his twin sister and has taken over the raising of her infant son. He is certainly lost in his grief and responsibilities and now finds himself turning to the very thing that killed his sister. His MC President is sick of watching him throw his life down the drain and throws down an ultimatum. Now he has to face the pain and heartbreak, regaining the trust of his brothers and the club and being the best father that he can be. It's his chance at redemption and watching him regain himself and become a strong alpha male who is not only smart and loyal was an amazing thing to witness. Breanna is in a mess with her ex trying to drag her into things she wants no part of and she sees not choice but to turn to the MC world for help. Her ex might be high society but man that guys is one horrible dirty bag that just makes you want revenge of your own on behalf of Breanna. She is smart and funny, sassy as all get out and the attraction between her and Lock is absolutely amazing to read about. I loved watching these two characters who deserved happiness in their lives obtain it.

I just love this MC series and Ms. Atlas never disappoints with the storylines. This truly is a club of unique brothers, from all backgrounds and troubles who have come together in the Manchester Hell’s Handlers MC. But one thing is for sure, these men and their women are 100% there for each other and that includes Lock, even if he doesn’t believe he deserves their help/forgiveness. At the ‘demand’ of his Prez, Lock was sent to rehab to get clean after spirling due to the death of his twin sister and suddenly becoming a father to her newborn child. He’s out now and doing everything he can to be a father to his son and regain his MC brother’s trust. It’s on a club mission he meets Brenna, a woman who unknowingly has become a pawn in her ex’s game. A woman who is now at the mercy of the Hell’s Handlers.

Their struggles are real and the connection is strong, but can Lock and Brenna fight off the past, their fears for the future along with the storm brewing with her ex? All while caring for an adorable infant?
Grab this one up asap, it’s a dandy you don’t want to miss.

This is the fifth book in this phenomenal series, and this is Lock and Brenna’s journey.

Locke is haunted by his past, and is struggling to rebuild his life, but he is spiralling out of control after the loss of his twin sister, while raising his little nephew, and when he seeks solace in the same substance that took his sister, the MC Pres steps in and gives him an ultimatum.

Benna is strong yet vulnerable, and is recently single from her dangerous ex, and she finds a home in an unexpected place, where the MC promises to protect her and rain vengeance down on her ex. When Brenna’s past comes back to haunt her, Lock will do whatever he must to protect and keep her safe.

This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with loss, grief, challenges, romance, undeniable chemistry, trust, vengeance, redemption, healing, humor, witty banter, loyalty, and love, which leads to an entertaining, haunting, tragic, unpredictable, twisted, and steamy addictive page turner.

I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Lock is suffering a great deal of guilt from his past that tends to trip him up which broke my heart, but thankfully, he has the Hell's Handlers MC as his family who would provide the tough love to help him get his life straightened out so he can raise his twin sister's son. Brenna just broke up with her fiance, but she's not bitter so when he asks her to drop something off that she found in the house they shared, she does it not knowing it would change her life for the better thankfully. However, said ex-fiance didn't know it would when he put her in the middle of something very dangerous which had me ready to kick his behind. She ends up staying with Lock temporarily so the MC can protect her, and the sparks are flying between them as they're perfect for each other but both have things going on in their lives, however, there's still some serious danger there. It made for some great twists coming in hot to keep me on the edge of my seat, and the heat between these two people is on point, but there's also a lot of emotion in the pages with a kicker of humor as well so I couldn't get enough of this story to be honest. I cannot wait for more, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lock & Brenna + Caleb

The death of his twin sister threw him into a pit he didn't know he'd ever climb out. While he thought he'd lost his club family, he later learns you don't just lose family.

Meeting Brenna under bad circumstances put him on a path heading uphill. Will he make it to the top? Her ex-fiance put her in a precarious situation. She didn't know anything but what she'd seen on TV about MCs. These big men scared her--and one turned her on much to her surprise. Lock. Even with her history, he seemed to have the key to her heart. Was it possible?

There is lots of heat, great characters including the club and their ole ladies, danger, and so much more. Little Caleb always brings a smile to the whole club. He is adored by all. The reader will fall for the little guy as well. I have read the series. The club devotes time and effort to traffickers and abusers. Most of their women have gone through pain from the trafficker's hands.

The author never fails to provide the best and Lock is no exception.

Lock is trying to get his life back on track after turning to drugs to dull the pain of losing his twin sister.
His first job back is helping Spec and Jinx collect money from a deadbeat. What they find is a,woman whose ex set her up as his payment when he is short money. Hells Handlers wont hurt a woman so they devise a plan to man and her ex think his plan worked. Brenna starts to spend time with Lock and his son Caleb. As they try to fight their attraction it is clear they are perfect together. The heat between these two sizzles off the page. Brennan and Lock ground each other and they finally give in to their emotions. Of course her ex won't stay away and causes trouble for Lock. Brenna, tries to help but ends up in a,serious situation. Lock and the guys come to the rescue. Really love these bikers. They love and protect with everything they have. It is good to see Lock get his life together.

I have actually been waiting on Lock's book it seems forever!!! And Lilly didn't disappoint at all!!! But wow what a difference some things make in a man!! He was like day and night and I loved this man so much more. Which I knew there was a lot more to the man than what we really got to know in just the glimpse we got to see. And Breanna wow what a firecracker...lol but she was perfect for Lock. But lord some of things she had to go through!! Although she started out kinda shy and quiet she had her sassy side she didn't let it out all the time til she got with her tribe. And we can't forget Caleb. I mean some authors mention that a baby is in the picture but then just kinda drop them. But Lilly made sure that he was brought into it like he was in the book just like in real life and that is important to me. I love The Handlers books and really hope they wouldn't stop coming!! They are the way MC books should be written!! I highly recommend all of them!!

I adored this book. Poor Lock is so hot…and tormented. It’s clear the death of his twin has set him on a dangerous path and only because of the MC and rehab is he holding on, dealing with sobriety one day at a time. He knows he needs to do it for the MC and for his nephew (really his son now).

Brenna is point a dangerous situation with the MC by her high-society ex fiancé. She ends up needing the protection of the MC and is moved into Lock’s house. She’s sassy and very independent, and the clashes between them are hilarious and hot. Add in an adorable baby and it’s an addictive book.

If you like books with tons of heat (oh one of the best 6 9 scenes), MC romance, action, some suspense, and forced proximity then you need to read this book. I highly recommend the entire series (well every series by this author).

LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!!

I wish I could leave this book 1000 stars!!!
I knew Lock’s story was going to be a great one and I was not wrong. If anything, I underestimated how good it would be.
We’ve met Lock in previous books and know that he has struggles he needs to overcome. And with the love and help of his club family - he does.
Brenna is his perfect match. They are thrown together by circumstance but really, it’s their souls finding the way to each other.
I love these 2 so much. I cannot say enough good things about this book - the mystery, intrigue, spicy good stuff and the HEA are phenomenal. Add in the cuteness of the sweetest little baby and you’ve got a GREAT read. LOVED IT!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this story, so much I did not want to put it down. Brenna was a kick, so sweet, finally dumped a man not good enough for her, but ended being used by him a couple times. She had the strength of mind to do what she felt was right, even though she would pay for it in the end. Her instant acceptance of Lock, the heat between them, and the love that grew made for a strong story. Lock had been through his own hell and back, with a push and support by his brothers and their ladies to find a way to be more human. I loved the two of them, loving each other and standing strong together. I highly recommend this story.

I received a copy through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

Another Winner

This is another installment of the Hells Handlers MC Florida Chapter series and it was another five-star read. This is Lock and Brenna’s story and it was filled with drama and steam. Lock’s life took a big downhill turn after his twin’s death and now the club is there to help him get back on track…or he needs to turn his patch in.

The MC is about taking out traffickers and saving those abused and this is how Brenna came to the Hells Handlers MC. Lock and Brenna have their chance at finding an HEA. As always, this author brings another addition to this series which I highly recommend. I can’t wait to see what she brings next.

OHHHH Lock & Brenna!!! What a team?!?!?!

This is the 5th book in the HELL’S HANDLERS MC FLORIDA CHAPTER series and I just cannot put into words how good this book AND the whole series is. I am hoping there are going to be more in this series as we do not know what actually happened with Lobo and his crew and even if they were part of the bad stuff that was discovered in this book. But after reading this whole series in just a few months, I have come to be a devoted fan of Lilly Atlas. I enjoy her style, her descriptions (when she describes Florida weather, she is spot on) and her details of all the guys and their ol’ ladies!!! I will read anything she writes.

Lock

Another fantastic story from Lilly Atlas' Hell's Handlers MC world. Lock is putting his life back together after the death of his twin sister and is raising her infant son. Brenna is happy to be out of a toxic relationship. After circumstances involve her with Hell's Handlers, she meets Lock and learns that the Club is nothing like she expected.

This books has lighthearted moments, an adorable baby boy, and lots of thrills and excitement. All in all its well worth reading, especially if you enjoy Motorcycle Club romance.

good read

Enjoyed this book tgst had a lot going on in it. Liked Lock as a character and although the beginning of his journey was hard he worked hard to overcome his grief. Bren started off fairly strong and seemed to grasp what evil her ex fiancé was capable of. Grew into a stronger character and then acted stupidly putting herself in grave danger, spoilt the story a bit for me. Funnily all the old ladies had similar issues in their own books. Good read but hate when women are made to be stupid.

You go Lock & Brenna

What a story Lilly has wrote with Lock, Brenna, Caleb & Hell Handler’s family. Lock coming out of rehab and starting over trying to prove himself to the MC & raising his son. Brenna breaks up with her cheating ex. Brenna does her ex a favor thinking it’s important papers to be signed but turns her ex set her up to take the fall to the HHMC. I love this series and can’t wait for the next couple.

Lock & Bren

Lock has had it rough, but when his brothers intervened he fought to get back to his old self. Been has no clue what her ex has been up too. When she finds herself in a bad situation because of her ex Lock feels the need to protect her. What turns out to be a casual deal between them turns into so much more and something they both deserve. Drama, action, steam, love, loyalty and brotherhood full these pages and makes for one heck of a read.

a must read

Triggers: Sexual assault, human trafficking, drug use

MC romances are my favorite
And this series is the best
The men are tough. The MC dangerous. But they have a soft spot for innocents. And when they find their own woman they treat them like queens

5/5 ⭐️ Storyline
3/5 🌶️ Spiciness
