Sometimes, hesitant young readers will select what appears to be short books or "easy reads". I love books that do have that look about them, but are full of content information. This is one of those books. It is a rookie science book that is small with big text font with full page and half page pictures. The book talks about the different characteristics of shorelines (sandy, marshy, rocky, or muddy) and how they change over time.
