Behold: Humanity!: Ashes, Ashes
The Terran Xenocide Event has hit the Terran Confederacy of Aligned Systems hard. Over 60% of their active duty military is down and dead, entire fleets are crewed only by a handful of beings, whole armies have just slumped to the ground. The Council/Confederacy Conflict has ensured that every planet is armed and ready, but the Atrekna are the wrong foe.
Able to gate in troops and war material without the need for ships or vast logistics lines, the Atrekna appear to be an unbeatable foe who can manipulate space and time to ensure they always get the right outcome.
With Hesstla being invaded by the Atrekna, Dambree embraces old reflexes and flees with her family for the safety of the only home she knows. Vuxten finds himself in charge of the entire Telkan Marine Division when the commanding officers all fall down dead. General NoDra'ak, critically wounded, finds himself trying to coordinate a planetary assault gone terribly wrong.
With the Atrekna overwhelming planet after planet, the death of nearly every Terran has left both the Unified Council and the Terran Confederacy reeling.
However, unknown to everyone else, the Detainee has escaped her confinement in Hell and walks the mortal world once again.

No Longer An Above Average Saga
“Behold Humanity!Ashes, Ashes (Book 11)” by Ralts Bloodthorne has lost the eclectic & crisp edge that the saga once held.
The writing is disjointed, depending more and more on lame storyline & plot line gimmicks, while the lack of proofreading is another sign of the demise.
