What a great smutty quick read. I can’t fault this story. I was a little worried initially because I’m not hugely fond of age play, but am willing to give lots of things a go and I am so glad I did. While there is age play, to me it was minor compared to other stories, and while “Daddy” is used a lot, it is done in a way that blends well with the story.
There were giggles, and there were sweet moments and I cannot wait to continue this story!
Lots of tropes and triggers in this, but if you’re the type of person to ignore trigger warnings and raw dog it, you won’t regret it.

This was a wild, fast and filthy FMMMM why-choose ride, but it definitely had some…interesting choices.
If you're looking for a quick, spicy read with strong age gap/daddy kink energy and a side of plot, this might scratch that itch. I appreciated Emery supportive roommate and the effort to blend backstory with steam.
Once the guys showed up, each had a distinct vibe, though picking a favorite was tough for all the wrong reasons. The spicy scenes were detailed and frequent, but here’s where things got…weird.
The kinks here are pretty intense and it felt odd how Emery was immediately all-in—like, zero hesitation, no limits, full send, despite having no prior experience. It didn’t feel authentic. And the guys? Some of their dialogue and inner thoughts came off awkward or just plain poorly written. At times, their vibe felt more creepy than consensually dominant, which took me out of the moment.
There were also some noticeable inconsistencies, like hair colors changing, timeline mix-ups (how long has she lived there, really?) and vague scenes that left me confused rather than captivated.
The daddy kink was repetitive and the writing overall felt uneven, strong in some spots, clunky in others.
That said, I didn’t hate it. It held my attention and I’m still curious about the next book, hoping the plot deepens and the characters feel more grounded, so I’ll definitely reading it.

This book is one undeveloped and poorly written sex scene. The “baby” aspects are a huge distraction. You don’t have any connection to her and you never understand them, their role, or why all four are together. It’s a series so maybe that comes later but there is so little plot or character development that zi struggled to finish and almost walked away. Smex is okay but this book is getting a lot of undeserved hype. So much so that imho. authors are buying good reviews and not earning them. DNR. Better smex, plot and character development elsewhere.

You know this was a good fun time. I lowkey wish I got more of the men being obsessed with her and I wish certain things were more descriptive but this did its job. Short. Sweet. Hot. Girl was kinda annoying but I liked her better at the end. Xavier is fucking hot. Damn. I want to read the next one but not out yet. I’d give this 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ stars. Pretty damn good smut. Considering adding this to my best smut category but I think Ima hold off

I'll admit, I picked this us with a bit of scepticism, but I had hoped for the best. Being an author on a group I am part of, I wanted if nothing else, to be supportive. A previously "grey" book series hadn't really impressed me, so I was sort of expecting it to have to similar things to bug me.
I was VERY much wrong.
I was actually really impressed with how the author has addressed the "transaction" between the parties. The safety aspect of the scene was explained, maintained and followed up on through the whole thing and the after-care component was beautiful. I obviously don't want to give too much away, but Harley, you have really done this well!
This should be a handbook for those interested in exploring the darker side of life 😉
From a purely entertainment point of view, Sugar Baby is a smutty, extra moist, fictional view of the Sugar Baby lifestyle that is sure to keep you pondering your own unexplored desires and then some. Unputdownable!

I was pleasantly surprised by this one!
I really liked the set up for this, with the heroine wanting to make quick money and not squeamish about what the four "daddies" in the app were looking for. Brief mentions are made to her history to explain why that might be, and I'm sure more is coming from that story line, but I am kind of glad it was just briefly woven in as it kept this first book feeling lighter and faster to read.
We don't really know anything about the four guys yet as we only see them in the sex scene (which, albeit, is long with multiple chapters from various POV) and during her POV they are called by nicknames she makes up in her head and then in their POV they think of each other by real names and there just wasn't enough for me to learn who was who, especially since all we have to go on are brief physical descriptions (something I can't picture and don't remember as a matter of course when reading) and also-brief mentions or thoughts of each of their respective kinks.
Speaking of, some of the kinks I like and some aren't for me, but it is clear we will explore more of all of them in the next installment(s), and I look forward to the ones I like for sure, as elements of the extended sex scenes in this one were really hot. I also really hope they explore some of the ones in their list from the app that weren't experienced this time! *hot, sweaty emoji here lol*
Emotional connection.... well, they are all super into her and think and say to each other she is "the one".... never my favorite thing in an RH, but it didn't bother me so much here since the focus was mostly split between the heroine and the sex. Hopefully that is built on more before everyone is exchanging I love yous, especially considering her past.
But honestly, the issues I had as described above were minor, mostly this was a fun, sexy romp and I am looking forward to their next get together (already out so I will download fairly soon).
*Quick aside: For personal reasons I kind of want to rate lower because I started it when in the mood for steam but then quickly got out of that mood and found myself tired every time I had time to read so kept falling asleep trying to read this more which caused it to be a five-day 200 page read which is crazy for this fast reader. Overall that left a lower impression in my mind of the book but it really wasn't the book's fault. So my four star rating is a reflection of what I know this book would have been for me if everything had been correct timing and mood wise.

4 star read. As I delved into this book, it was clear from the outset that it was going to be packed with heat. I must commend Harley Madison for crafting the SugarLife universe so effectively; it serves as the platform through which Emory encounters characters like Derek, Hudson, Darcy, and Xavier. When the dedication mentions a 20,000-word sex scene, it's not an exaggeration. If you're seeking a narrative rich in plot and complexity, this isn't the book for you. The intimate scenes are undeniably sizzling and filled with everything one might expect from a romance novel. The chapters alternate perspectives, offering a glimpse into the thoughts of the male characters, which I found particularly engaging. Gaining insight into their minds made me eager for both their bonus scene and the sequel, especially since this installment ends on a cliffhanger. Additionally, I crave more background on Emory; her past is marked by significant trauma, and I would appreciate a deeper exploration of that aspect.

This book is a quick read, but don't let that fool you - there's a lot packed into it.🥵

I was gripped from the first page, and while there is a LOT of spice, there is also a story line.
Can't wait for book 2 later next year!!

This quick read was jammed packed with so many goodies. Check your trigger warnings but I don’t have any so just went for it. I was a little unsure for a second due to Age play however it didn’t go too far into that which im grateful for!
4 Daddies who each have their own vibe and 1 baby girl. I couldn’t pick a favourite character and left wanting more…. lucky for me I got the ARC for book number 2 😍
