Oh, my goodness, what a treat this book is! The stories are not that amazing, but my daughter and I both gasped when we realized what the author had done to literally turn the book upside down. We had no idea that was coming and it was delightful!
Happy Blanket was an OK book. Tony Ross was very creative in how we combined two stories into one book. I liked how one story was about a girl and the other story was about a boy. Both genders are included. However, it teaches kids to not listen to their parents when their parents suggest throwing out old toys--in this case, it is the blanket. The characters rely on blankets for support, comfort, and general happiness.
