This is an easy to read translation. The way this bible is set up it's easy to get through the whole bible in a year. Each section starts with a section that tells you what you will read about that day or group of days. It also has a daily walk section with each daily reading where it helps you apply scripture to your life. I would definitely recommend this bible to anyone that wants to read the whole bible in a year. This bible comes in a few different translations. I have the NIV, NLT, and KJV.

It wasn't always easy especially when I was in some of the Old Testament books of law! However, I stayed on schedule and completed it!!

I read through most of this version of the Bible and passed it along to my brother. Most days, I stayed on track with the daily readings. God’s Word is living and abiding (1 Peter 1:23) and all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16). This next year, I hope to hide more of His Word in my heart that I might not sin against Him. (Psalm 119:11)

I listened to The Daily Walk podcast every day during my morning dog walks. Sundays were taken off. There were times when it was a struggle to listen through the entire passage for that day, but I feel like reading or listening to the Bible in one year is the perfect way to do it. It helped me through a very tough year coming out of the pandemic and I dealt with a lot of challenges in my life through its support. I have grown tremendously and fought back many demons in my own personality, my family, and my marriage that have been issues for decades. Please make a commitment to taking this journey, it will change your life for the better.

God’s Holy Word… what a gift! Life-changing to read cover-to-cover in a year. How each day’s reading begins with a brief summary and a daily application to your own life today really helped me dive deeper into the Word each day. I recommend this to everyone!
