This is the first and only school textbook I've ever purchased to personally own after the class was finished. I love how simply and directly the author tackled the issue of ethics within my chosen profession. But in reality, his presentation extends beyond the field of criminal justice, particularly the first couple chapters and the last three. Highly recommended for any law enforcement professionals, and generally recommended for anyone looking for a primer on ethics.
