Enjoyed the fuck out of this Thanksgiving novella. It was such a good time!
Great romance, great friends, the banter, the chemistry, the connection. All in less than 100 pages.

This was cute one, but that ending threw me off just a tad.
I haven't read many Danielle Allen books, but I saw this particular title pop up on social media and I was in the mood for some Black romance. A Perfect Stuffing follows main characters Thalia and Damon who meet during an annual friendsgiving celebration. The book was short, yet steamy and absolutely adorable. It's clear that Thalia and Damon have a lot of chemistry from their meet cute in the grocery store, but it picks up when they spend more time together during the celebration. While I enjoyed Allen's writing and character development, that ending definitely threw me for a loop. I'm not saying that the impacted side characters shouldn't have been upset; however, I feel like the emotions were just a tad bit extreme for the situation and it threw me off for a second while navigating my way throw the ending up of the book. Overall, this was a good read and I'm looking forward to picking up more books by Allen in the future.

A Friendsgiving tradition of three longtime college friends unknowingly turns into a new sexy, fun adventure for one of them (Talia). Talia and Damon found themselves going after a similar treat, not realizing that fate would have them "run" into each other again. Their chemistry was A1 and I was here for their banter, their flirting, and the fact that they threw caution to the wind. Damon was out here stuffing Talia....while also eating her pie. Mmm hmm this was a sexy little treat. I would definitely read more about them.

Ma'am you are killing it with these hookup reads! Yaaassss!! ❤️ I love the idea of Friendsgiving, bonding and enjoying the family you chose. These friends were hilarious, how they stayed on Thalia about her slump with getting the "D"! But here comes BDE Damon as a surprise guest at dinner, and it is game on! Their chemistry was hot, and the sexual innuendos before and during dinner were sexy as hell! Imma need an invite next year! 😂 Enjoyed this one!

3.5 stars but I don’t know if I should round up or down. This was looking like one of my favorite Danielle Allen books until the conflict near the end - I just didn’t get it and it threw the whole vibe off for me.

Short and spicy. I’ve yet to find a book by this author that misses the assignment. I knew what I was looking for and doggone it I found it. 🥵
Am I the only person who loves a holiday themed sitcom episode? I gobble them up with my eye spoons. Likewise, I enjoy reading this series during the season featured. I can relate to the ambiance (ya know what I’m saying 😉).

This was such a fun Thanksgiving novella!! The banter was the best, and Anissa, I’ve GOT to read her story!! Friendsgivings are fun and I enjoyed my time spent with these 6 great friends!

Delicious
I absolutely love a funny meet-cute. This book definitely gave me that. The scenario and their dialogue had me cracking up. Their amazing chemistry continued throughout the book. I really liked how Damon wanted more than just a fling. His pursuit of Thalia was really sweet. Another thing I love to read about is a tight knit friend group. I loved the strong bond that the group in this book had. There were just so many feel good things packed into this short story. I was over Mo’s tantrum, but other than that I enjoyed all of the characters. The Hot Holiday Hookup series always gives me just what I need. My favorite author has done it again!

3.5⭐️ this was sweet and really fun. The friendships were just as amazing as the romance and I loved how not insta-lovey this was. But I did think the reactions at the end were a little much. I agreed with Anissa - everyone should have seen that shit coming 😂

She gave us friendship bonds, spice, romantic connections, funny banter & holiday joy packed 87 pages.
The FMCs close friend, Anissa, was my favorite character. I love a Black girl friendship but I also love when one of the friends in the group are deeply unserious yet funny.
We got a quality MMC and a cute little blast from the past from the FMCs POV.
My only hang up was there not being an epilogue or a true “ending” to the story. It just ended abruptly.
Overall? It was a cute, holiday novella.

What happens when the stuffing is the main course and the dessert?! 😫 This was a fun, short novella detailing the most perfect Friendsgiving gathering that I wished I could’ve attended.
Thalia and her friends from college have been getting together yearly to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday together. Every year they bring big fun, good vibes, great food, and grateful hearts!
This year, there’s a special new guest, Damon, who is enjoying the stuffing and has a sinsational craving for Thalia’s pie - lemon pie that is 😉 And what’s Thanksgiving without a little stuffing on and under the table?! Dressing is good but I’ll take stuffing for 200 any time Hehehe
These two had instant sparks between them and I loved their witty little banter. I loved all the friends’ interactions and good natured fun! I would love to follow this friend group for more link ups if this was a series.
Danielle Allen is a BEAST when it comes to a great sex scene and this one will be added to my “to-do list”. When the lights went out, Mr. Damon…. What a man, what a man!! This one was quick (91 pages), and not overly sexual. It certainly hit the spot!! 🎯 Perfect timing for the Thanksgiving holiday!!!
