This story is a mystery that is sure to capture the attention of elementary-age students. It teaches an important lesson about how working together can make solving problems much easier. The story is action-packed and the illustrations are beautifully drawn. Additionally, the last pages of the book include educational information about the animals mentioned in the tale.

Very cute! Why is it so quiet on the island? Great mystery book for children about different animals (which are also described in the back of the book), teamwork, how one thing can affect everything else and about doing an honest day's work.
