Tate has been volunteered to coach the one sport he hates. Aida agrees to help with the one sport that broke her heart. It's all on a trial basis. But the biggest struggle of all? Aida is constantly giving Tate tickets, and Tate is constantly giving Aida trouble. Can the two of them work together for the sake of the Pronghorn community and get their students prepared for the soccer season?

He has his secrets to why he hates soccer. She has her secrets to why she wants nothing to do with the sport that once was her life. Can they help the team, and help each other heal?!

This was my first story by Anna Grace, but I am certain it won't be my last!!! Tates personality while quite outspoken was also so kind, sweet and patient with the students you couldn't help but want to cheer on his efforts and he seemed to balance out Aida... together making the perfect team! I can't wait for the December release to see who's turn is next to fall in love!

Another in the Teacher Project series, in which sheriff Aida Weston is roped into assisting PE teacher Tate Ryman when he reluctantly agrees to coach a soccer team comprised of a small group of international students who love soccer and are good at it but are teamed with another crew of local students who really know little about soccer.

When the slapdash team actually wins their first game, hope springs high in town that their previous soccer star (Aida) might actually pull off a miracle and help them continue to win, which they do, even as Tate's attraction to Aida is finally acknowledged by her, but kept secret (so they think) from the rest of town.

Then a local matriarch invites outsiders to observe the final game of the season and all of Aida's nightmares about what happened to her years earlier come roaring back. Tate isn't sure he can coach the team to success without his three best players who suddenly disappear. Can he find where they went? Have they joined Aida in staying away from the game? And Tate?

Great tale for any season, but especially when soccer teams fill local parks.

Winning the Sheriff's Heart by Anna Grace is book #2 of the Teacher Project. Pronghorn, Oregon has brought in five young teachers to a non existent school system. Tate Ryman is the P.E. teacher and when the school administration brings in some international soccer students, he will need help to create a successful soccer team. The sheriff is a previous college soccer star that wants nothing to do with soccer nor the teacher.
What kind of compromises must be made in order to get this team off the ground? Why does the sheriff not want to help? What does a P.E. coach have against soccer when he loves all other sports?

4/5 STARS! I'm smiling so hard. This beautiful & heartwarming series is PERFECT! I have not only fallen for the town of Pronghorn, but the cast of characters too (even Loretta has grown on me). This was the perfect love story for Tate & Aida (which I peeped from the first book). The plot is fast moving & fun, & I loved the addition of the exchange students. I can't wait for the next one (guessing Mateo & Lucy???). I highly recommend this!

What a fabulous, emotional story! The second in Anna’s Teacher Project series we see teacher and rule breaker Tate Ryman team up with sheriff Aida Weston. They both have baggage around soccer but somehow they find themselves working together and falling for each other. This was such a sweet book, I loved Tate and Aida, they really balanced each other out and were a fantastic team. This series is so fabulous!

This is a sweet, heart-warming story. The lead characters both have unresolved trauma, and they help each other heal. It is a sometimes rocky road, but there are a lot of good times as well. The students add fun and positivity, and there is even a town grump. I finished it yesterday and had a smile on my face the rest of the day.
