About the author

Carol Edwards is a native of Chicago, IL but now makes Atlanta, Georgia her home. She is the youngest of three girls. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University. Traveling, music and reading are among her leisure activities.

Carol felt early on that God placed in her heart a seed to write a children’s story, but what she thought would be one story turned into a book series. She loves writing for children and has enjoyed every minute of writing her Jacy’s Search For Jesus series. The series takes young readers on an amazing journey with Jacy. This journey takes him far away from home, but never far from Jesus. This series is quickly growing in popularity and has been praised by parents and professionals alike for their content and beautifully designed illustrations. She has received positive reviews on her work from Bookwire Review and Readers Digest. The series includes four books: Jacy’s Search For Jesus, Jacy Meets Betsy, Jacy Faces Evil, and coming soon Jacy A New Beginning.

I received this book though Goodreads First Reads.

So we begin the story with a baby eagle named Jake,that is separate from his mom due to a terrible storm. He is so small he hasn't learn to fly. His mom would always remind him the he was never alone; that Jesus was always with him. So he decides to search for Jesus.

On his search for Jesus he comes across a bunny named Betsy. Betsy, the green bunny, is afraid of everything. They immediately become friends and decide to search for Jesus together. They come across a huge, giant bear. Jake decides to speak with him about Jesus.

Will Jake and Besty find Jesus? What does the big, brown bear have to do with Jesus anyways????

Jacy is a young eagle who has been separated from his mother due to a terrible storm. He starts out alone on a journey to find Jesus following his mother's words "If we ever get separated, look for Jesus", He will never leave you." Along the way he meets Betsy the bunny and they start the search together. This is a great book for children of all ages to learn about Jesus and to find out how easy it can be to have him come into your life. I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads.
