Finished in a day..

I rated 3/5 because I would like to see less smut and more of a storyline. I’d love to see more of Ella and Sofie’s relationship development. It was really fast paced and that was good but Id prefer to I guess more. It gave but it wasn’t giving enough I guess.

Matias and Sophie

Matias was ready for a family, so he adopted a little girl and hired a nanny to look after her when...business took him away. The last thing he expected was to find his soul mate in Sophie. Great plot, likeable characters and red hot romance. Highly recommended

I can just tell that there was no proper proofreading of this novel. I really like the first novel I read from this author, which would of been Ari's story, and kept seeing this one come up on tiktoks, so I though I'd give it a try.

The Chapter where she goes to her exes house to get her photo album irked me. She tells Matias where she's going, so why is that entire scene forgotten about in the next chapter where Matias suddenly has no clue where she is/could be going, and he shows up with Gianni, who was following Sophie? That discrepancy really bugged me. Also just Matias as a Mafia don in general. So many things that a don would just never do. Letting his daughter go to school without protection? Hiring a driver without doing so much as a background check to get any dirt on them?

The first half of the book was okay, but it really dropped off in the end. I almost didn't finish it.

I read about the 35% when I could’t take it anymore.
This book sucks in my opinion.
Matias fall in love like 2 seconds when he saw a photo of Sophie, got overly possessive even before they ever met. As always Sophie is a virgin, who knows nothing about love or sex. They get in bed like few days after they met.

Marvelously written with outstanding character which is a page turner, action packed, intriguing as well as very steamy romantic happily ever after ending.
A woman who when she was younger was caught in a house fire that her parents died in, breaks up with her cheating boyfriend with her best friend before she met the Italian Mafia Boss for his family which she became the nanny for his daughter.
When the woman met the Mafia Boss for the nanny position they both got a feeling but the woman pushed the feeling down because she knew that he was part of the mafia and she thought he might be the one who started the fire that killed her parents and scarred her.
The Mafia Boss tried to get close to the woman who became his daughter's nanny, even taking her to get new clothes as well as taking her to a Gala. But she was still on the fence about him. The Mafia Boss even got her a new car, she was upset about it first since she brought it with own money but she wound up deciding that she was happy he did it.
The more time they were together the more they started getting closer. During the time the nanny went to see her ex best friend and she found out what her ex told her ex best friend, she thought about forgiving her. It wasn’t that long when she went to the grocery store with the daughter and her ex was there, she ran with the daughter back to her car, the second of the Mafia Boss showed up upset.
The Mafia Boss has his second look into the fire that killed the nanny’s parents as well as the ex boyfriend but the second can’t find much on either but is still looking.
The nanny and the Mafia Boss start having sex with each other. He knew that she was a virgin and he wanted to get her pregnant so that she would stay with him, he tells her this every time they have sex. They have sex on a yacht that he owns as well as in the hotel room that they stay in while going to the Gala.
During the Gala he finds out that one of his enemies has been having their territory getting taken by another as well as the wife being killed so he decides to have the nanny go back and he stays there to help.
While the Mafia Boss is gone he doesn’t get ahold of the nanny and she’s upset about it so she rebels by going to a club, she gets texts from the Mafia Boss but she turns off her cell, she gets a bit drunk. She goes to the restroom and hears other girls talking about her and the Mafia Boss, she runs out and her ex finds her. He blows up a car and blames her for it, she is taken to the police station and thrown in a cell.
The Mafia Boss helped get the enemies son back before he’s notified about what happened to the nanny so he comes back to get her out of the police station. The Mafia Boss meets a cab driver who takes him to the station to get the nanny. The Mafia Boss is furious when gets into the station, he gets the nanny out. He has the police put a ex parte on the ex and the police also puts a warrant out for him on the car bombing.
The two don’t talk for a while but they still think about each other all the time. She finds out that she’s pregnant and she knows that she has to tell him about it. She paints with the daughter and he’s there, the daughter call her mommy after she spills a cup of water after everything is tended to and the daughter goes to take a nap. The two started to talk and she runs off, after the second has him to go after her. When he finds her they talk, he finds out about her being pregnant.
She goes to visit her foster parents and leaves a note for the Mafia Boss. While she’s at her foster parents, he was meeting with a private detective with the help with his second they figure out who caused the fire and who the nanny’s ex is. The Mafia Boss tries to get ahold of her on her cell and she tries to get ahold of him right before her car stops and her cell won’t work. She goes to check under the hood when she’s hit in the head. When she wakes up she’s tied up to the chair and her ex is throwing gas all over her car as well as telling her about his family and her parents. The ex lights the gas right before the Mafia Boss and his second comes, they shoot the ex and the Mafia boss gets the nanny out of the car. They throw the ex into the care as it burns up.
Ten months later and they have twin sons, they’re a family now. They love each other. They kiss. They are to get married that night.

Another fantastic read! These characters are so fleshed out and make you really care for them. This plot was emotional and takes you from sad to happy. The family moments are so heartwarming, he is mafia but he truly cares for his little girl and now his woman.

He loves his daughter more than anything and unfortunately was now the head of his family. It caused him more headaches and time away from the one he loves so he figured a nanny would be ideal. He actually longed for a partner to share his daughter with and then took a look at his nanny's photo. She is most definitely the one to fit the bill.

How sad a life she had before. I felt for her and the little one. That is so sad and in a beautiful twist of fate, the two and this man come together to make a real family. I loved how he was with his girls and how he appreciated natural beauty. I don't get why most people like fake "enhancements" but to each their own. Their darling little girl and his right hand man? Love them so, so much. They are both incredibly important and enriched this story and couple. All the little details and the new driver, just perfect! Ella is adorable and him finding her? How beautiful was that?! This was a great story! It was a full one and a loving tale of family. Another fantastic job!.

Ok so you need to read 'Owned by the Italian Mafia Boss' then 'Owned by the Italian Mafia Don' books before this book. With that being said, after reading the first two books I was interested in seeing if Matias (twin of Ari) would find his wife the same way his brothers did. The story line was there but lacked the action and spice the other books had. Matias's character still didn't have much about him from books 1-3, all but the fact that he is an obsessive romantic with no personality. It felt a little repetitive in the bedroom department and the scenarios were bland and boring. The relationship between Sophie and Ella should have been more special but I loved that Gianni was more involved in this book. I also would have liked the other brother's and their wives/kids to come back into it especially when they were pressuring him into getting married (family rules). I also don't understand how Carmine and Ari both stepped down to spend more time with their families when the whole purpose of getting married and having an heir was to continue being the Don of the mafia. Why then keep handing it down to a younger brother? Confusing...

My rating is 3.5.
This is a very light read.. nothing complicated. Now the thing is even if you are writing a story like this you need to be careful about the details. For every story you need to remember what kind of characters your MCs are and what problems they possess in their life.. Halfway into the story and that detail was totally swiped away and later the effort was taken to cover it up.

The FMC had burn marks on her arm from her childhood when her house caught fire and that killed her parents. Fine. I understand this much. Now the FMC and MMC came closer and became intimate (first intimate scene) and the author totally forgot about mentioning something about the burn marks. I waited hopefully but none came. Later it was mentioned that the MMC did see the burn marks but he didn't want to push her because he believed that she'll trust him one day and say everything about it.

The built of the story was not quite strong. The story is good but if you really wanna keep the story, then I would suggest to modify it and republish it. Otherwise I loved my Ella Bella, sweetest girl ever.

When Sophie watched as her best friend and now ex-boyfriend made out i public, she took the pleasure of throwing their drinks all over them as she called them out. She could only hope that her interview will land her the job as nanny so that she would be free of her ex and have a place to stay. Matias takes one look at Sophie and knows that she is meant to be his and he will do everything in his power to make her a part of his family. As they get to know each other a bond is formed but when Matias looks into the death of her parents, he now knows why Sophie is familiar to him, but he learns that her ex also has a role to play in her past and it isn't a good one. Will Matias be able to keep Sophie safe from her ex and his sick plans for Sophie.

After seeing a preview of this book on TikTok, I was intrigued. It has a pretty good plot line and the chemistry between all of the characters was entertaining. My favorite was little miss Ella Bella!

The relationship between Sophie and Matias was extremely chaotic with communication but also was a bit refreshing in how ptsd can affect a budding relationship.

Favorite quotes:
• “You say the word, Sophie. And I’ll be your first… your last.” Ummm yes please! Matias is definitely a man of his word!
• “I can’t help but wonder when it will be my turn to have a lover and a true companion that I can trust, a person from whom my instincts won’t scream at me to run.” Same sis… same. A girl could dream
• Quite literally ANYTHING that came out of Ella Bella’s mouth “in this econonemy??” An Angel!!

I knew what to expect when I started reading this story: I just wanted something fast and easy to read. So I wasn't disappointed at the flat characters, simplistic plot, lack of any emotional depth, but the insipid writing was laughable. The answers she gave to his job interview questions were beyond ridiculous. He asked her what she likes to do. Besides going to amusement parks, she says "I always love to have blankets on me when I'm sitting down on the couch. It doesn't matter how warm it is. I always want a blanket." Now that's SO IMPORTANT in a job interview. He asks what she's intolerant of; she says 'radishes or dragon fruit'. DNF.

It just fell short....I usually tend to look for more plot than smut, and this book was not that. Fmc felt like a rather flat character, and mmc was just typical and boring. I like that he actually respected her choices and gave her time to think, but to say I would rate it higher because of that would mean the bar is LOW. I felt like it dragged on for a while, then when I finally thought there might be some angst....time skip and boom things start working out and they're suddenly master communicators.

Let me start off by saying everyone needs a Matias in their life. Matias was so obsessively in love with Sophie, that it brought and set high standards for men in real life. The things he said had me blushing & swinging my feet.—literal chokehold. While I enjoyed this book, I did feel like it was slightly rushed. The characters were amazing but do you feel like I would have loved more suspense between chapters. Fast pace storyline with a lot of spicy scenes than this is your book ;)

A plot as old and used as wattpad filled with badly executed clichés

Altough the story is 269 pages the story is way too rushed and full to the brim with predictable "turns" aka the clichés.
The obsessive and lovable qualities of the MMC are lost in stupidity and the whole mafia setup and love-at-first-sight is not believable due to everything! being a play by play of every Nanny Mafia book ever published on Wattpad.
Very disappointing.

Like why did she make a drama about her scars with her ex and didn't have a care in the world with her boss to see her scars like 3 days after being hired?

Matias needs to chill the f down. I'm sorry but he going all wild about "yOu cOuLd hAvE diEd!" after she fell from the yacht? She could swim, she laughed, so chill your socks, Matias.

Overall the story was rushed & not much in detail. Disappointed is an understatement.

This book sucked so bad I couldn’t even finish it. I was going to stop reading around 25% but somehow I made it to 59%. I could no longer take it so I finally decided to DNF. First of all, what was I thinking? I wish I could go back and slap myself for thinking that a book with this title would be remotely good. I wish I could get back the 2ish hrs I spent reading this.

it felt like the story was not written not developed properly and i only finished it because it was fast paced

Just Amazing

One of the best books in this series so far.. the storyline of this story is so good. And the spicy scenes are way too hot 🔥 Three books of this series done 14 to go. And all the Millazo brothers are so dammmmmm hot. They are so Possessive toward their wives. It's really kind of hot and sweet.

I cannot begin to express how much I love Matias. His character is so amazing! I love the whole nanny idea and this book checked all my happy boxes.

Sophie is such a sweetheart and I love Ella. It was nice to see his kid throughout the whole book and the relationship that blossomed between all the characters.

This is so far my favorite book out of the mafia books. Matias is everything!

I love the nanny trope and the relationship between Sophie and Ella, but I wish there was more. I also know this is a standalone series but I wish we would see the previous characters, instead of each brother stepping down when they get married. It just seems a little tired to have the same plot of taking over as the new don for each book.

Sophie pissed me off so bad with her immaturity, back and forth indecisiveness like sis pull your shit together and grow up and just communicate with him!!! I honestly didn’t really care for her or Matias as a couple, I didn’t feel any chemistry between them only just sex and childish behavior.

Loved Ella and Gianni tho!
