Dr. Single Dad

Rate this book
Unexpected fatherhood, a newborn daughter and a nanny in the next bedroom he can't stop fantasizing about.

When a one-night stand announces I just became a father to a baby girl, my world is thrown into turmoil.

My choice: single fatherhood or sign adoption papers.

The decision is easy.

Within hours, I'm on a plane to collect my daughter.

I’m in over my head. I barely know one end of a baby from the other. Luckily, I have the perfect plan. I’ll hire live-in help, have limited involvement with the kid, and keep my life just the same as it’s always been.

I finally find a nanny who lives up to my exacting standards. But the only problem is, every time I look at her, the future I thought I wanted starts to crumble.

Nothing in my life is going according to plan… and the wriggling poo machine in my arms is unexpectedly worming her way into my heart.

Life was ordered and logical until I got myself two roommates and started falling in love with both of them.

A standalone romance.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book. I loved the characters you would think that Dax is a grumpy guy, but the more you read him he reads as a neurodivergent person. He steps up and is going to be a father to his daughter, but really he is just going to have someone else take care of her. Eira she is lovely 100% sunshine the connection and the love that she feels towards Dax of being protective of him with his family, made me fall in love with them.

That being said you would think my review would be higher. I deducted stars because of terms used in Chapter 11 of the book. The term Chinese burn was used to describe the prank children do when rubbing hands on another arm. I reached out to author and said this should be revisited. I heard nothing until I posted my review. This is not my first edit of my review. I was asked to edit my posted because I just said racial slur and then told that author could not change anything 5 days before release. Author also told me there is a debate if it’s even a slur. I pointed it out because I felt uncomfortable and was trying to help. The way the author interacted with me was not ok and is no longer on my list of author to read.

Louise Bay books are always a palate cleanser 😊 and apparently 3.5 stars has become my standard rating for her books *sigh*
I liked Dax and Eire well enough. They were sweet and cute together and the romance was super fluffy which I also liked. Honestly it was going to be a 4 star listen until that those last few chapters. They’re separate made no sense and neither her “sudden” richness.
I still would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a super sweet and fluffy single dad/nanny romance with a baby that sleeps 24/7 😆

Dr. Dax Cove is on the fast track for doing ground breaking research and nothing is going to get in his way. Until one phone call letting him know that he's now a father, stops him completely in his tracks. Springing into action with the support of his brothers, Dax travels to the U.S for his newborn daughter and he's determined to only provide for her. Forming any bond that will jeopardize time for his research and future plans, will not happen.

Hiring the best nanny to take care of his daughter is proving to be a bit more difficult than expected. When he meets Eira, he immediately thinks that she's too young for the job but fate as it would have it, had other plans. After taking the job on the spot, Eira and Dax decide to work out a system for Dax's daughter to give her the best nurturing so she can thrive even more. That includes one on one time, feeding schedules and family bonding which is going to be more different with the newest addition to the Cove family.

I really loved the evolution of Dax as a father and balancing his work life. He was so determined to do things his way and not form a bond with his daughter but nothing played out the way he wanted it too. Day by day that steel exterior began to melt and not only did we see a different side of him, we saw him vulnerable and a fierce protector. This was the first book that I've read in the series but I truly didn't feel like I was missing anything. I loved the family dynamic and the story flowed well. My only issue was that towards the end, everything felt rushed and too wrapped up in a neat bow. I needed things to slow down a little bit but other than that, I enjoyed this one and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the spinoff series.

If you're looking for a sexy heartwarming single dad/nanny romance, I highly recommend this one.

I devoured Dr. Single Dad, I couldn't put it down once I started.
Dax Cove is the last of the Cove brothers to give in to the feelings, and his story is the most endearing of all.

Dax is a workaholic, his research work is his only goal in life, yes a little sad right? Fortunately fate has another plan for him, so Doctor Dax Cove becomes a father to a beautiful newborn, but with his busy work day he needs a nanny. Eira Cadogan is perfect to take care of baby Guinevere, and maybe she is the right woman to show Dax that there is more in the World than work.

I loved these characters. At the beginning was a little hard to like Dax, but after Eira's treatment, and his gradual and natural change, you cannot resist to this affectionate and charming baby daddy. It was a pleasure to see Dax and Eira get close, their uncertainty and their doubts are real, but so it is their chemistry.

I've really enjoyed this series of hot doctors, i don't know what Louise Bay has planned next, but I'm here eagerly waiting for her future works.

This follows Dax a research doctor who was thrown into the deep end after receiving a call that a one-night stand just gave birth to his baby. Trying to navigate this big unexpected change he needs a full-time nanny to help. That’s when Eira walks in and doesn’t give a great first impression but after an emergency incident to the current nanny, she seems to have won over Dax. Can they resist each other for long?

This was a feel-good read. Watching a man who had no intentions of being a father but had beautiful character development growing to love his daughter had me weak. I did struggle with his character at the start but grew to appreciate how far he comes by the end. Eira was a caring, nurturing soul. Always thinks about her family, takes care of them and never puts herself first. These two are a perfect match and work well together. Enjoyed the storyline.
The audiobook was brilliant. Loved this narration by Zara and Shane as it felt like they fit the characters perfectly.

Dax, the work focused research scientist/doctor just found out he's a father. He isn't about to allow his baby momma to give their daughter up for adoption, so now he's got a new baby living with him, depending on him. He can't work and raise a baby, so enter his new nanny, Eira. Dax may be expecting his life to proceed the way it did before, but he never could have seen that he'd fall in love with his girls.

Eira's whole purpose has been to care for others. So this nanny job is perfect, it will give her enough money to help her siblings. But what of herself? Who cares for her? Who takes care of her? Well, Dax, if she'd let him. Originally she may have come to nanny baby Guinevere, but what she ends up finding is who she is outside of caring for others. If she allows Dax past her self-imposed walls, they just might be able to find something beautiful.

Dax was the brother who kept himself at a distance according to his parents. Then his beautiful daughter happened to him and with her came Eira. I wanted to smack Dax at first for being such a jerk. He wanted his cake and eat it too, a daughter but not have to raise her or be a real father, just relying on the new nanny. Thank God Eira had such a big, beautiful soul because she opened up his heart to love, not just for his daughter, but for her too. Eira and Guinevere brightened up Dax's world, gave him something other than just his research to love. I love the Cove family so much. How they fall when they least expect it, fight it even. I'm sad their stories have to end, but wow, what a couple to end with!

Single dad and the nanny AND Shane East and Zara Hampton-Brown narrating?! Say no more, I’m so in. This was one of those reads that I would say makes a great palate cleanser, it was adorable, sexy and sweet but also had some depth, just nothing too heavy. Dax had such amazing character growth throughout the book, he went from not even being sure about fatherhood to being head over heels in love with his baby girl 🥰 Eira went through her own journey too, she was so used to putting everyone else’s needs before her own and I loved seeing her put herself first. This is the fifth book in a series but I was totally fine starting here, although I do think I need to go back and read the other books because this was so cute!

As one does, I immediately downloaded the audiobook of this ridiculously good story on release and decided I’d review once I finished. Okay, fine, probably not as one does, just me. Don’t judge LOL 😉 Suffice it to say, either way you decide to go, a good time will be had!! I had a great time with both because they were spaced out by a couple of weeks and enough other reads that it didn't seem repetitious, and I love *heart eyes* Shane East to pieces and, let me tell you about who is going to become my new obsession …. *drum roll please* … Zara Hampton-Brown!! YES, she nailed everything! *happy sigh*

Let’s chat about this story for a bit now…

First of all, Louise Bay is madness. I mean the woman cannot write a single thing that does not entertain me! My obsession with her words started in 2016 and I do not think there’s a book or audiobook I have not devoured and series I have not binged at least two times but probably three. Her stories are delightfully easy even when they pack a punch. Her writing style isn’t heavy and dark but more everyday and it makes me feel like I’m part of the world she’s created. I’ve wanted to be *friends* with every group she has ever written!! Dax & Eira’s story captivated me and kept me interested from the beginning even though it was a bit of slow(ish)-burn and I would have preferred it to be a bit more for them, but on the flip side, the storyline paced really well and brought immense joy to my heart!

Alrighty then ... GO DO THE THING, do ALL the things when it comes to Louise Bay. #TRUST

Dr. Single Dad by Louise Bay is so stinkin’ adorable! I was fortunate enough to listen to the audiobook and I did so in one sitting, I couldn’t stop! Shane East and Zara Hampton were absolutely amazing, their performances added an incredible layer to this story. You’re definitely going to want to listen to this one 🎧🥰

This is just one of those books that gives you all the feel good vibes. And the Cove brothers are so entertaining. This is actually part of a standalone series so you can binge away!

What to Expect:
- Single Dad x Nanny

Dr. Single Dad is my first read by Louise Bay. I have not read the other books in this series, but I certainly will read them after devouring this story.

Dax is a successful doctor engaged in medical research and living a peaceful life. His world is flipped upside down when he receives news that he is a father to a newborn daughter. Although he knows nothing about fatherhood, he immediately flies to America to meet his daughter and bring her home. Dax is convinced his life won't change much but immediately realizes he needs help. Enter Eira. Dax is initially not impressed with Eira and does not hire her as his nanny. As fate would have it, Eira is in the right place at the right time, showing Dax she is exactly who he and his daughter need. Eira happily accepts the nanny role, but there is one problem - she is attracted to her boss.

This story pulled me in from the start, and I loved Dax and Eira together. Their love story was so fun to read. I absolutely adored them, and I enjoyed witnessing their relationship grow. Fatherhood changed Dax in an amazing way, and he truly fell in love with his daughter. I love how Dax wanted to give Eira the world, and Eira was there to show Dax he could be a wonderful father while maintaining a successful career. Dr. Single Dad has amazing character development. This story has romance, angst, humor, heartwarming moments, and even some twists and turns. I highly recommend this read for those looking for a feel-good story.

NARRATION:
Shane East and Zara Hampton-Brown narrate this story. Being new to Louise Bay and these narrators, I was pleasantly surprised to hear Shane's British accent. Zara brought Eira to life and made her real. Shane made me feel Dax's emotions while navigating new fatherhood and his feelings for Eira. Shane and Zara provided an amazing listening experience.

I never really felt the connection with hero. This was a good read, heroine was great and add in a newborn, well there is a story there.
A good family series with some steamy scenes.

¿Me esperaba que fuera flojito? Si. ¿Tanto? No.

Reading this whole series in a weekend, but getting an ARC just reminds me why I loved the first book so much! I love Louise Bay’s writing, she handles hard topics so well and the characters are just so lovable in all the ways they come. Dax and Eira tip toe around each other in the beginning of the book, but when they become comfortable with each other, you can really see their chemistry shine.

I loved watching Dax become more and more comfortable being a father, you can see that’s how Eira falls for him in the beginning. Watching Eira grow more comfortable and be able to do things for herself was so special, especially as her siblings pushed for it.

I will miss the Cove siblings interactions as we move onto a new series, but I’m sure I’ll love all the upcoming books as I can tell Eddie’s book is gonna be great!

I was really looking forward to this book, but it just fell flat for me and it was honestly a bit of a struggle to finish. There was very little chemistry between Eira and Dax and if not for the forced proximity, they would have never, in a million years, ended up together. I also felt like the author was lecturing the reader in a Parentiing 101 class instead of writing a romance novel. So much annoying focus instructing Dax how to parent, what pram to use, making formula, etc. If there had been that much effort put into growing the connection between Eira and Dax, it would have been a far better read. And having a so-called twist of creating a dilemma in the form of Eira having to choose between working for Dax or a Russian oligarch!?! Like really? Given current events, that was a ridiculous subplot. Even the Cove family dynamics seemed to have taken a more harsh tone, with comments directed at Dax in a distasteful and bullying tone. Looks like many others enjoyed this book, but it just wasn’t for me.

I'm grateful to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the author for early access to this book. These are my honest thoughts!

This is my first Louise Bay novel, but I've seen her around a lot! I was suckered in by the single dad/nanny trope. While there was a lot I liked about this book, it just never became love.

We meet Dr. Single Dad, Dax, on the day he finds out a woman he slept with had his baby, and she needs him to login to Zoom to sign away his rights. He gets on a private jet (maybe owned by his brother? we don't really get introduced to him until later) and flies to America. He decides to keep his child out of duty. He has a very organized plan about providing for his child. It's all very emotionless and robotic, but I was just waiting for the whole "being a dad" to change his worldview.

Enter the nanny, Eira. First, Dax doesn't like her. Thinks she's too messy. He's real picky about his daughter's nanny because they'll be her primary caregiver. He hires an old lady and she has a medical emergency, and Eira is there to help, which leads Dax to hiring her. They're both attracted to one another,

She helps him bond. He helps with her finances. They connect (at least, we're told they connect), but you don't really FEEL their connection until the very end of the book, after they've declared their love for one another.

I enjoyed this story. I'm usually not hard on predictability, but this was painfully predictable, and without all the emotions and feelings, I just liked it OK. Honestly, my husband interrupted me with 7 minutes left in the book and I wasn't in my feelings about anything... normally I'd rip his head off. I think that says everything.

3(ish) stars?

Dr. Single Dad is the fifth and final book in Louise Bay's Doctors series. A series documenting the lives of the famous, and incredibly irresistible Cove brothers. Each practise and/or dabble in the world of medical practise--with an exception here and there--, and their stories each show how they go about their lives both personal and professional. We've been good patients waiting for our final doctor, and he's a hyper-independent, proud, determined man. Oh, and he's also now a single father.

For the final time in this series before I get down to the bulk of my review, let's talk tropes! Your tropes for Dr. Single Dad are:

✔ Single Father (duh!)
✔ Nanny Romance/Workplace Romance
✔ He Falls First
✔ She Gets Him
✔ Modern Day Mary Poppins
✔ Steamy Tension
✔ Slow Burn
✔ Billionaire
✔ Forbidden
✔ Road Trip

Of course with any book, as you read it you might discover a few micro-tropes in Dax's book. These are ones that Louise has not officially listed, but that you may in your own reading experiences may interpret. For the ones she has listed, all of them are ones that I am very interested either as a go-t0 trope of mine, or as one I like generally. Single father romances have been a theme among my ARCs lately, and I'm proud to include Dr. Single Dad in them.

Tropes aside, it's time to talk about this tale and close this series' chapter. Let's do this!

One-night stands are full of all kinds of perils and pitfalls. Among them, there's one that is by far the riskiest consequence and is familiar within our literary world. A surprise/unplanned baby. This book does avoid those tropes on the page for those who do not like to read about them, and instead focuses on the events post-arrival of the child. Dax's one night stand from approximately nine months prior, informs him of his now status of 'father' to a baby girl. This throws his organised, planned and meticulous world into turmoil.

With any situation, albeit unexpected ones, there are multiple choices as to where to proceed next. Dax too, has those choices. He can continue to be a workaholic bachelor by letting his child go, or he signs the adoption papers to officially declare her his daughter and he her father. As we've got to know Dax with his appearances in his brother's books here and there, we should know his character enough to know what choice he would go for without hesitation. He signs the papers. Dax Cove is now a daddy! Officially.

For him, it was an easy decision. Though as unplanned as his now fatherhood was, there was no way a little life like hers was going to be in anyone else's hands other than his. Within hours and with the charms of being a Cove on his side, he's on the plane to fly to the United States to collect his brand-new-to-the-world daughter.

Having no prior plan to ever become a father, Dax is the very definition of unprepared. In over his head and not knowing one end of a baby from the other (not literally), he thinks quick and soon has a plan of action for what he plans to do next with his newborn daughter. He's going to hire live-in help. Aka, a nanny. Wanting life to be disrupted from his usual activities and patterns, he plans to have limited contact with his daughter--letting the nanny take care of things--, and keep going with life as previously planned.

Though as the saying goes, 'good help is hard to find'. Or rather in Dax's case good help is there, he just has incredibly high standards and won't pick from the good crop before him. Finding the most minute of faults in every single one of them, that works out until he comes across one candidate in particular. He tries to find one in her and does point it out, but this one won't go so easily from both the job, his head and his heart.

Nanny successfully hired to his exacting standards, it now means he's left with only one problem left to tackle. Fighting for his future. Every time Dax looks at his nanny, the future he has always wanted and planned for crumbles more and more.

For someone who loves and lives organisation, plans and being on schedule, Dax's life is now anything but the things he knows how to do, loves to do and how he himself operates. This includes his new, squirmy, poo machine of a daughter that with each passing second, hour, day and into the weeks, unexpectedly begins to worm her way into his heart. A hear that never in a million years, thought it would ever want to or be able to have space to love someone such as her.

Going from one change to another, an orderly life to a disorderly one, Dax now finds himself falling for his two unexpected roommates. Love, something else he didn't see coming even a mile away.

After giving a very strong four stars to the Dr. Single Dad's predecessor, Dr. Fake Finance , it was up to Dax and his nanny to see if they could equal or best that rating. As I said at the start of my review, I love single father romances. Those are automatically high expectation reads for me but luckily in this case, I'm in the safe hands of one of my must-read and favourite authors. Louise Bay. She's created a series here that has not gone below for my own personal reading tastes, a four star read--with Dr. Perfect being the second beside Dr. Fake Fiancé , so I was curious to see if this would join the ranks with those two, or join Dr. Off Limits and Dr CEO as a five-star read.

Spending two whole days reading and getting to know Dax, his daughter and his nanny, I can firmly say that Dr. Single Dad is officially a five-star read! Although I would've liked to have seen a more rounded-off ending, it wasn't unsatisfactory and the story more than made up for it. Again, it wasn't a bad ending, but if anyone has read my previous reviews or knows my tastes knows how I, personally, like my romance novels to end. Well, in one of the many ways in which romance novels can end.

Up until now, Vincent has held the title of my favourite Cove brother, followed behind with his other bothers--Dax not included (as his story wasn't out when we got to know Beau). Has that now chanced with the final instalment and Dax's own tale to a happily ever after? Kind of! I hold both Vincent and Dax as my joint favourites. Dr. CEO and Dr. Single Dad are my two top novels and I'm incredibly happy about that.

Louise should be very proud that she has crafted such a story as this. It's a genre that is beloved by many and this main trope in particular is seeing a resurgence among those of us who like it, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is one that lovers of it MUST read. Make it your first Louise Bay, if you haven't already. Everyone should get the chance to meet Dax Cove.

Thank you for such a sensational series. It's bittersweet that it has come to a close but after what I read at the end of this novel, I'm even more excited for what is to come.

It's finally time for us to get to know about the youngest Cove brother, and Dax Cove does not disappoint. A phone call from a one night stand telling him she just delivered their baby in the states rocks his world. This controlled researcher only knows that he can't leave his child with someone else. Grabbing a couple brothers they head to pick up his new daughter and bring her back home. Believing nothing will change for him, but ensuring Guinevere has a home, is cared for, and an education, all this will be as hands off as possible.

Enter Eira looking for a full time nanny position that affords her an income to take care of both her sister and brother after an uncle stole the inheritance they were to receive after their emotionally distant parents died in a helicopter crash. Eira became the loving parent to them both all the while sacrificing her entire self wants, needs, and desires.

After not getting the job and taking a temporary fill in nanny position, Eira finds a woman having a health crisis at a park while with her charge. Lo and behold, it's the nanny Dax hired instead. He sees the error of his choice, and hires Eira after how well she handled the park incident.

Now what nanny is not going to be attracted to a single dad that's trying to navigate being a father that he never planned on being? And what single dad is not going to be drawn to the one woman that sees him for who he is and helps him bond with this unexpected baby girl? Sexual tension, both feeling set in where they are in life, and trying to find out who they are both apart and together. Eira helps Dax to realize he can still be all those things he has wanted to be career-wise, while Dax wants to give Eira everything that she refuses to take for herself. Some push and pull as they figure out how to have it all together.

We get some great Cove family scenes. We find out where our fave couples are in their lives since we last left them in previous books. Some are a bit raw from life but the family is strong and continues to grow. It's very real for some couples.

Leaving the Coves is sad, because we've been with them for so long now through the series, but they won't be gone. Eira's sister is headed to the States and there's no doubt we'll hear about them again soon.

Let me start by saying that the Cove men are absolutely extraordinary.  They make my heart pitter patter!  But Dax Cove just pulled ahead in the race.  Dr. Dax Cove is all the proof I need that the love and support of a good woman can make a man be everything he ever dreamed of being.

Dr. Dax Cove was very conscious of who he was. No nonsense, scientific and critical thinking, and posed to make a discovery and change in the medical community. Life was as he intended. Until one simple phone call turned his world upside down.  He then found himself navigating fatherhood, something he definitely did not want. He just needed a nanny to take care of the surprise daughter. She would manage the child and he would provide. Simple enough. Except the nanny came with complications he didn’t expect.

Eira was a nurturer by heart. A fixer of sorts. She’d been doing it for her siblings and it also became her vocation. She was excellent actually. Never any problems…until Dax Cove became her employer.  And everything she knew and held close became blurred.  Her attraction to her boss was absolutely not allowed. Except her body and heart didn’t get the message.

Dax and Eira both had rules they lived by. These were clear and necessary. But with time, the rules became suggestions. They couldn’t deny their attraction. He set her body on fire. She softened his hard exterior. She made him want to be a better father. Unfortunately, doubts and clouded visions were too strong to see what lay beyond.  Can these two find their way back to where they belong…together?

The strength of Eira was so heartwarming.  She was an unstoppable force.  And Dax, well that man evolved slowly but effortlessly.  Once he allowed his walls to soften, he saw what life could truly be like, how he could live all parts of his life, how he could be happy.  He was so cold and meticulous but melted so smoothly.  These Cove men just make my heart happy.

"Sign the papers. Forget this ever happened. Get on with the work changing a million lives, rather than just one."

Let's just say the opening chapter sets up what sort of person Dax. A Doctor passionate with his mission to saves lives HOWEVER their is 1 life that is link to him. Hearing the news from his ex he made a choice to pick his new born daughter. He called his brothers for a quick jet off to get his daughter...no spoilers I really want to read his brrothers stories because they are just hilarious togther and winding each other up like proper brothers 🤣 !! He called his daughter Guinevere

Eira is a professional nanny and let just say their first interview did not start great. She turned up covered in typical British wet & muddy (British girl here can very relate here 🤣) Then he heared her singing to Guievera and he knew from baby research that the song helps baby developement so that got her a few points...no spoilers She has 2 brothers and I love their bound too they support each other. And they are a fighting to get their stolen inheritance back from a family member that betrayed them...no spoliers

At the beginning you think Dax & Eira won't work togther very well after the very first meeting. HOWEVER their bound grows and she encourages Dax to take care of Guineve on his own while she is off. She has so much faith in him and she trying to get him to see it too...no spoilers. Friendships then respect for one another THEN fall in love. I just love that we learn more about the world of nannies and, we see how important it is to them that the kids never lose that contact with their parents. She advices Dax to talk to Guievera so she get use to his voice and become less fussy and she gives him tips how to do it...no spoilers

Get ready for this love story that will make you laugh & aww all at ones!! Brilliant one liners

4.5 stars! The Cove Brothers’ series is over and it went out with a bang! In this book, we get to know Dax the youngest and most distanced of the doctors. As a medical researcher, his life is very black and white, but when he finds out he’s a dad things turn very grey.

It is so interesting how Dax thinks he is going to take care of this baby and not grow emotionally attached, that he can just provide economically for it and foist it on a nanny to raise. It’s not a good look for him, but fortunately Eira is there to show him the error of his ways.

Dax and Eira are such a good team. She is the Mary Poppins that all kids with nannies deserve. She is so calm and wise, a natural caretaker. But as we learn more about her and her family, we realize no one has ever taken care of her.

Dax and Eira grew up with very absent parents, but Dax was always surrounded with love and support and Eira was left with indifference. And now Eira knows the importance of showing up for family.

I loved that Eira brought out the emotional side of Dax, not only through their romance, but as a father for his daughter. When these two finally connect, whew, the chemistry is definitely impressive.

Loved this one and I’m definitely looking forward to the next book about Eira’s sister set in NYC, my old stomping ground.

I absolutely loved this book. Wonderful characters and amazing plot. Very beautifully written.

I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading it. It was an excellent read.

Dax Cove is a workaholic. His only purpose in life is his research work. He never planned to settle down and be a father. But life got other plans for him. After one phone call his life got upside down. He flew to another country with his brothers to collect his daughter from a one-night stand. He plans to hire a live in help and be involved as little as possible.

Enter Eira, she is looking for a full time nanny position, so that she could take care of her younger brother and sister. She became a great parent to them, while forgoing her own needs and desires. After an incident in the park with the nanny that Dax hired, she becomes the nanny to Dax’s daughter. I loved the chemistry and passion between Eira and Dax. I absolutely adored his transition into a father. And of course I loved appearances of the couples of the previous books in these series.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re a fan of nanny/single dad romance then you’re in for a treat.

Dr. Single Dad was absolutely brilliant. I just adored this story so much.

The devotion Eira has for her brother and sister is admirable. She has worked so hard to give them everything they need or want. Now when things change she has to navigate how to live for herself. See what else is out there.

Dax Cove the youngest of the Cove clan life is forever changed thanks to a unexpected bundle of joy. Once his daughter comes into his world everything changes for the better. You see a different side of Dax he himself never saw coming. When Dax and Eira relationship changes from employee to romantic they both question their relationships.

It was great to see how they both came into each other’s lives at the right time. This story had it all, big family dynamics, cute little baby and attractions no one saw coming. This story had me smiling through the whole book.

Arc was provided for honest review.

Dr. Single Dad is a great addition to Louise Bay's Doctors series.

Dax has a job he loves and a life he's comfortable in. All that changes, though, when he finds out he's the father of a newborn baby daughter. Suddenly he has to figure out how to take care of his daughter Guinevere when he never wanted to be a parent. Hiring Eira to be the nanny was only supposed to be so he could go back to living his life like he used to. However, Dax quickly finds both Guinevere and Eira mean more to him than he ever expected.

This was a sweet, engaging story. I loved seeing Dax connect with Guinevere at the same time he was falling for Eira. They fit together so well and the unexpected chemistry between Dax and Eira was fun to read. I enjoyed their dual POV and seeing how their feelings grew and changed as they fell for one another.

I can't recommend this book and series enough!

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

4 Star Review Dr Single Dad (Doctors #5) by Louise Bay

This is the fifth book in the Doctors series and is Dax Cove and Eira Cadogan’s story and it was a good addition to the series.

When Dax finds out that a one-night stand has resulted in him becoming a father, he knows he either steps up or signs adoption papers. He chooses to step up but needs a nanny in a hurry. His biggest problem is that the woman he hires initially is ill and is forced to retire.

Fate steps in when Eira comes across the nanny and Guinevere in a park, and she steps in to assist the unwell woman. Hiring Eira seems like a no brainer but he didn’t count on how attractive she is and how much he wants her.

I liked these two together, both are easy to relate to and it was entertaining to watch their relationship develop.
