Samurai Squadron II: Spinward Fringe Broadcast 19

The Order of Eden and Citadel continue their efforts to dominate the Rose Solar System using their cult-like influence and military force.

Jake, Remmy and Agameg have finished gathering intelligence about their plans and plan to escape a space station where the enemy is recruiting. Captain Ruby Sima, a loyal ally, plans to get them out without being noticed so they can reunite with the Triton, but it will require some tricky manoeuvring and luck.

Wing Commander Minh-Chu Buu and members of the Triton crew return to the Bitter End Base to check on the Rebel Captains. During his visit, he discovers that a prospective member has done something horrendous to innocent explorers, and he has little time to save her victims. As he rushes off, a senior member of the Rebels has to draw the line between malicious piracy and purposeful privateering by making an example.

The war gains focus and heats up in the second part of the Samurai Squadron trilogy, and no one will be left unmarked.

He Just Keeps Doing It!

I have to confess to not being into the whole none stop space battle books that are out there and I was wondering what to expected in this installment of the Samurai Squardon trilogy, Samurai Squardon II. Yet again Randolph Lalonde has produced this phase of the story at the prefect time, with the perfect balance of encounters with an enemies you love to hate. The heart of the Spinward Fringe story is there, but the intensity of the battles have you gripping the edge of your seat. We are also introduced to a new threat and so as not to put out any spoilers I will just only say that I thought Xenomorphs were the worse thing you could encounter in space, until now, and we've just got a little taste.

Action packed

This chapter in the story is loaded with action, the perspective is lightly different without Jake or Alice as the voice of the story. I really enjoyed the style change for a while.

There are major events that take place, serious repercussions, new people in, a few lost along the way. A very good mix. Well done Mr. LaLonde.

Things are looking up!

Again Jake and his crew continue to fight against evil Eve and her forces of death! They have lost some friends and the bear is mad, so no more poking with sharp sticks we are going to take the fight to them! I have been reading this series since the beginning and I love it!!

YES! This is the Spinward Fringe book we've been waiting for. On the edge of your seat action, fast pacing and general bad-@$$ery. A super fun read, this is the best installment since the first half of the series.

Fantastic Series

You wouldn't have read this book if you haven't followed the adventure from the beginning. Randolph Lalonde is truly gifted in his writing and the adventure will continue. The greatest sci-fi adventure I have ever read and truly needs to be a movie series.

Honestly, I couldn't put this one down....

One of these days, I'm gonna binge this entire series all over again. If this never gets the tv or movie treatment in my lifetime, it will definitely be a crying shame...
