This book is an immense amount of fun, very playful with both its own design and the ideas about design it presents. The text is concise and lean (probably under two hours to read), providing a strong narrative to the book without imposing. Open ended and well illustrated questions are posed, but often left unanswered, which forces you to think (or feel, as the text might prefer) through how the questions relate to your own reading of visual language. I don't agree with all of the author's views on design, but still highly recommend the book.
