In the middle of nowhere, three men are shot to death. Each man had received a piece of paper, telling them to meet at the very spot they were killed.

homicides - three at the same location - trigger Supervising Agent Grantham

Jo and Ted run a 5K together - then Jo is summoned back to work a singular crime scene; one of the three victims is a perpetrator well known to Grantham, from his distant past.

A vigilante serial killer has run amok and it’s up to Jo, McKinley, Grantham and - surprisingly, Ford - to wrap up this tangled series of deaths.

The best story yet.

Someone is killing off murderers who have got away with their crimes. These crimes were committed ages ago, so why now is someone trying to get revenge? As Special Agent Grantham, Jo and Agent McKinley, set off to find out why, they discover a whole lot more going on, and a rogue FBI agent. Once again Jo Pullingers path crosses with her good friend Ford. Another brilliant read in this series.

Connections

The team was all together and traveling the country on this case. Unconnected murders and cold cases meet the murder on the train conundrum. Romantic relationships were touched on a bit and friendships a lot. The team dynamic is more solid than ever and so were the different skill sets. The last connection for the killer and fbi was a surprise, but also perfect in a bittersweet way. Great story that I couldn’t put down. Love this series.

A bird without wings...

Revenge can be viewed in many ways, A smile, A grimace , tears. Jo teamed up with her boss, Special Agent Greatham, PI Bryan and McKinley, solving murders committed by an unknown assailant, bound to uphold the law of revenge. Twists and turns were evident time after time, all leading to a surprising ending. Thanks TF

Another good book in this series. The plot moves along quickly and the characters are work well together to advance the plot and keep the story moving. The pages fly by and you are at the end before you know it. The story ends with all the loose ends tied up but with some open items for the next book. These are best read in order, as the story and characters build on prior books.

Thomas Fincham's books never, ever disappoint. Always intriguing, always action packed. This one had a little twist to it but it still packed a punch. Waiting impatiently for the next edition.

Appropriate Title

The plot lines intertwine between cities and cases. Fincham, the master storyteller, once again brings Ford and Pullinger together. Once you read the book, ask yourself about the title.

Justice

Several men had been killed by a vigilante. One of them was known to Chatham so he went with Jo and McKinley to follow leads and catch a killer. Everyone one of the agents and even PI Ford had some kind of injury but they got their man.
