It may be a little rough around the edges but it’s a great story. There are quite a few typos but if you can overlook those there’s a unique story here. My only wish is that it were longer. There’s so much potential for longer stories from both souls. This book left me wanting more.

Beautiful

This story is beautiful. To me, it is a reminder that in life we have to put on different masks to fit into the different roles we play. The professional put together mask for work. Then we have our fun-loving free mask. When life gets challenging we forget to remove one mask that takes over our identity. This story for me is a reminder to find the balance in life to be all that you are without losing a part of yourself forever.

The idea of having two completely different souls sharing one body is such a unique concept. The two personalities are trying to thrive in their own ways while also keeping this secret from those around them. How the author integrated love into this complex dynamic was very interesting. Overall the story was well written and it kept you pulled in the entire time.

A brilliant story! I don’t want to spoil this for anyone so what I will say is that this author has done an amazing job making these characters feel real. The story captures the readers attention and doesn’t let go. It was one of those stories where I see the movie version of it playing out as I read!

This kept coming up on in posts that I scrolled by on facebook. I don't know if I would have ever noticed it otherwise. In fact, I don't know what made me finally decide to read it.

I could see immediately that this writer was not writing in her native language, but I was hooked. The count down in the beginning set the pace and the main character drew me into her world. And what a character. Alinar made me see her from a perspective I could never have imagined myself. I couldn't put it down until I could no longer keep my eyes open. Then, I picked it back up immediately the next day.

When I got to the end, she left me breathless. I felt like my heart had stopped. I was almost angry that it ended.

Alinar is only going to get better from here and I am definitely going to read everything I find by her. What an amazing story.

I think this might have been an early manuscript for the author. Not as polished as later stories. That being said, I leave reviews based on the story itself. I found the premise to be extremely original and captivating. There was no way I was not going to finish reading it. I had to know.... the end left me a bit sad, though I can't imagine a truer finale that wouldn't have been a cop-out. Bravely done, as an indy author myself, I know how hard it is to share the story we want to share, need to share, not follow the crowd. Kudos for a thought provoking experience.

Balance

You will fall in love with the two main characters from the beginning.
I love the way Alinar brought Any to enjoy life it all and wanting to see more and experience more. Then there is Beth the level-headed one who was all work. They balance each other perfectly while being so different.
This ending will leave you sad but wanting more. A must Read

Everyone has a dual nature but what if those sides weren’t only opposites but also friends trying to live side by side. I couldn’t get enough of this breath of fresh air—a great read!
