This is a large encyclopedia with examples in psychiatry of the various classes of mental illnesses including descriptions of the medications to control them. It is one of the few books that cost more than $300 in my collection.

You are probably better off starting with a college text in "Abnormal Psychology" before jumping in here.

This is the H-bomb of MAD.

Hay que tener cuidado con los libros de Psiquiatría. Hoy día, en España, se usan yo creo, muchos textos de Medicina que suelen ser originales de EEUU. Son muy buenos, más que la basura que se editaba aquí en tiempos de la postguerra donde nuestros mejores médicos iban a formarse a Alemania, cosa que acabó al perder ese pais la guerra mundial .
Pero si bien vd puede curar una fractura de la tibia aquí igual que en el Polo o en EEUU, la Psiquiatría es- no toda pero sí en parte- diferente porque la mente y los valores de la sociedad y los individuos de EEUU es diferente de la de los paises latinos., aunque desde luego, al menos en España, esto es cada vez menos acusado.

This book is one of the finest books for higher education in clinical psychology. It is worth the read, and it is also possible that you may never finish it in this lifetime.
