This is a GoodReads Giveaway Kindle book win for me. My first time reading a graphic novel and it went well. There is a learning curve. Once I established a slight rhythm I was able to enjoy the story.
The story is smart in a fun way. The writing is easy to follow and stays on topic moving the story along with ease. I liked the illustrations. Each page was easy on my eyes and I liked the color palette.
Reading on Kindle was tricky. I resigned myself to read the story, glance at the pages and then go back and admire the art.
I would gift this to kids and grandparents.
