She is a graduate of Marian University, Calumet College of St. Joseph, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Mary Ellen works as a Director of Revenue Strategy for a hotel management company. When not playing with numbers and spreadsheets all day, she can be found writing romance novels under the pen name M. E. Lavern. She also co-hosts the Hoosier Myths and Legends podcast with her sister and niece. Mary Ellen resides in Hebron, Indiana, with her dog, Rudy.

I liked reading the history of this area and learning about the folklore. It was a good book during Halloween. There were many grammatical errors and typos.
