Poor offering from this author

I think I must have read all this authors books available on Amazon, some I have really enjoyed and others I could leave but by a long shot this is by far the worst. Basically it’s a poor imitation of a mafia romance. Nervous anxious female falls for domineering alpha male and great bedroom activities solve all the ills of the world(even when the female lead is physically assaulted and kidnapped). Female lead has to be pure and other women are looked down upon if they aren’t whereas the male lead can sleep around. The character development is superficial and important characters just turn up to answer storylines questions when they’ve never been mentioned before. Storylines are just plain boring and the book ends on a damp squid of a cliffhanger. As I said at the beginning the author has written far better. Doubt I’ll be reading the next instalment.

Parker is a 23 year old with high anxiety due to her parents deaths and the subsequent years with her aunt and uncle. She runs into Wells 25 at the psychiatrists office and instantly becomes intrigued in her. Turns out the psychiatrist is his mother and him and his brothers break into her office to find her name. Thus begins the stalking he buys an apartment across the the way to spy on her and finally breaks into her apartment. They finally meet and when they're together Parker doesn't question the relationship but starts to spiral when he's gone knowing full well she should abort this ship. But wells doesn't give her breathing room to question what's happening.

My thoughts
This book had a good potential to be something. The writing unfortunately really made the experience not great it was choppy and repetitive. 2 things that were repeated and made me ask "does Wells need a lozenge and does parker have an intact bottom lip" (if you read the book you'll know what I'm talking about) I understand that Parker had her issues but boy was she naive and acting like she's a teenager and clinging to the first person to give her attention. Wells.. had no redeeming qualities his intentions were to use and dump her in the cruelest way until his father steps in and makes a demand. His flip flopping irritated me on one page "I can't see me being with anyone else" and then not a page later " I feel stuck and she's really not someone I would have picked for myself long term" it gave me the ick. The character development was minimal if there was any at all. 'The family' aspect was dumb and the director is an abusive d*ck.. Coleman's side story made me ask why? Why go in the direction.. anyway I prob won't be continuing this series it left a lot to be wanted and idk if I can go through the choppy repetitive writing again.

This wasn’t really a mafia book, just more of a stalker-ish book. I had a very hard time feeling any connection or chemistry between Parker & Wells. He stalked her because he wanted her, but for all the book, until the very end, she was just a plaything for him in the moment. He said she was his, but when she asked if he was hers, his response was “sure”. He said he liked her, but didn’t love her, & she would be his until he was ready to move on & marry someone else because she wasn’t the type he’d marry. He even said if she were to find out the truth it would be pure luck & would end what they had. I kept waiting for the moment she realized who killed her parents, but it never happened. There was no scene where she came face to face w/Wells’ dad or found out the truth, & for that being a huge part of the storyline it was disappointing that it was never revealed.
I’ll continue on w/the series because I am curious about Wells’ brother’s & I’m hoping the next book is better.

Loving this new series from Haley! I wasn’t sure what to expect with this new series that has a different tone than her other books, but as I started to read, I was fully hooked! Parker has dealt with trauma her entire life, and when she goes to take the next step and try to work on herself and her life, she ends up running into Wells. When Wells sets his sights on Parker, he’s instantly hooked and decides to do anything and everything to get into her life and get together with her. This was such an interesting read because it combines mafia, romance, suspense, and stalking all in one! While Parker and Wells got their own story, I also love that Haley gives us an ongoing story line through Wells’ family and their “business.” I can’t wait for the next book, especially with how explosive the ending is!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wow! That’s all I can say. I am a huge fan of books where the hero is super obsessed with the heroine and even stalks her and Wells exceeded my expectations! I loved him and how much he obsessed over Parker. Sigh, why are all the most amazing men fictional! Lol Parker wasn’t my favorite heroine ever but she was the shy, reserved, no back bone type and honestly that worked perfect for the story and Wells.

The story honestly hooked me. We had some jaw dropping twists, turns that almost gave me whiplash and an ending that leaves me craving more of this family! There were some things not completely resolved, but I have high hopes that those things were really resolved in the other books to come! Bring on more because I am beyond excited! 4.5 stars #2OCCJD

Review:
Okay where to start. At the start of the book I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I like the characters personality’s and I the main characters best friend so much!

Some of the things that happened at the start wasn’t what I was expecting if I’m gonna be real. However I liked the book! It has some cute scenes and some not so cute scenes and some VERY spicy scenes 😏

But overall I liked the book! I haven’t read many books like this and I liked the plot! Also I know their relationship is… unique but I liked Parker’s and Wells relationship!

I just want to say a big thank you for letting me read and review this book! I really would love to read some more books by Hayley Faiman in the future!!

Everything a reader wants in a story, a stalker, mafia, danger, violence, amazingly hot naughty bits. This read pulls you in from the very beginning and keeps you hooked. Now, this is a bit of a dark read so please expect that this isn't unicorns and rainbows. I know that technically Wells is the "bad guy" but holy hell was he so good! Watching Wells and Parker through their journey was a pleasure and I give this 5 stars.

Tempting the Monster is the first book from Hayley Faiman’s Midnight Stalkers series and follows main protagonists Wells and Parker’s story. Theirs is dark twisted romance in which obsessions the name of the game. Prepare to be taken on a wild ride filled with lots of twists and turns, there’s also a lot of steamy chemistry 😉 From the moment Wells first sees Parker, he knows he must have her and will stop at nothing to get her. Parker is drawn to Wells despite the warning signs, she’s instantly captivated by him

I loved every moment of this book and can’t wait for more of this family. I look forward to seeing what Faiman’s got in-store for us readers next.

🎧 Audiobook review 🎧⚡ Spoilers and a lot of profanity will lie ahead—I usually like to talk shit about everything that goes down in these books

___________________________________________________________

I have read some dubious shit in my life, and I’m not ashamed to say I’m immune to pretty much everything except bad fucking writing. I will tattoo that on my forehead if I have to. This? This was easily one of the suckiest stories I’ve read so far. I had a look of pure disgust on my face for the first half of the book—then I just went numb.

Let’s start with the "plot," if we can even call it that. It’s nothing new: a virgin, sweet, "hot" girl with dead parents and anxiety meets... the Mafia? (Are they even Mafia? Who the fuck are they? The Organization? The Fuckwits? Just a sick family of psychos?). Our guy, Wells, is instantly obsessed with Sad Girl and stalks her for a while, then fucks her for a while, then she gets kidnapped by someone he screwed over, he rescues her, and they live "happily" until the next book.

And let’s not forget the obligatory twist: his father killed her parents. In itself, that wouldn't be dramatic, just a tad predictable, but the way they talk and act is genuinely vomit-inducing. They continuously call women "bitches" they just fuck, talking about them like they’re subpar humans who are only good for their pussies. Apparently, the ultimate prize for when they turn 30 and rise to the rank of "Who-Gives-A-Fuck" in the organization is a virgin they are "owed." They literally search through a catalog for a virgin, like you’re looking for underwear, to see which "bitch" catches their attention.

Wells—the stalker Main Character—talks about how he fucks random bitches not just because he wants a different "flavor," but because it’s a physical necessity, you guys. You understand? He has a disease that won't let him dick the same pussy twice because his penis might catch gangrene and fall off?

When he sees Sad Girl at his mother’s psychology office—where she is a patient, mind you—he decides: "Mine." He and his insufferable brothers break into the office to find her name, and his brother actually asks if he wants to see her file to find out "how fucked up she is." Hahaha, mental health is so funny, right? And he’s just about to add some more trauma on top of everything she’s already got. When he begins stalking her and she (of course) senses he’s watching, he’s proud because he doesn’t want some "oblivious bitch" in his life. Wow, what a charmer.

Oh, and one more of his musings: "I want the fear in their eyes to be about what I can do to them with my cock, not that I am gonna kill them"—referring to the women he likes to impale.

Then we have the brother, Coleman. He’s been seeing this girl for six months, which in their world is apparently grounds for marriage. When he’s told to commit, he breaks up with the "bitch" because, goddamn it, he wants the virgin he is OWED! He throws a tantrum like a giant baby. And when said girl is upset and her family backs out of a deal, they threaten and eventually kill her because—why not?—she’s expendable.

Then there’s Kid No. 3, the IT wizard who just realized his looks and money can get pussy thrown at him, so he fucks his way through the city. But wait, there’s more! We find out he was a buyer in a sex trafficking scheme where unwilling women are sold for men's pleasure. Why? Because he was "bored" of willing participants and high as fuck. But no worries! Once he wasn't high anymore, he looked into the eyes of the girl he was raping, realized he was a colossal piece of shit, and stopped. Character arc complete!

The father is a typical tyrannical head of the family whom you absolutely don’t disobey because he’ll slap you like a bitch. He’s the reason his kids are the worst scum on the planet, yet somehow he isn’t as abject a human as they are. I had to laugh at the fact that his wife is a psychologist—good job, Mom, raising such exemplary, stand-up citizens.

Somewhere in the middle of this "plot," we meet the Uncle. We find out that 20 years ago he had an affair and a baby. Pretty normal, right? Well, no. That baby was a girl, and that girl was the one Coleman was fucking. So... just a little bit of cousin-on-cousin action? Come on, if royal families have been doing it for centuries, what’s wrong with it now? And of course, the Uncle was pushing for Coleman to marry his illegitimate daughter/cousin. Random, right?

At this point, you might be thinking: Where is the Female Main Character and what cool shit is she doing? NOTHING. This woman is the most boring piece of rag ever written. We hear about her exciting life of sitting in bed, biting her lips, having anxiety, and hiding from humans. I have more exciting toilet breaks than what Parker does all day. Gosh, I lost count of how many times per minute Parker bites her lips and scrapes the dead, dry skin off them. I felt like throwing up. I bet she’s a hoot to kiss with those chapped, bloody lips. Sexy.

Now, let’s talk about her "anxiety." She makes a huge deal about going to the psychologist, but then goes to a club with her friend Allison with hardly any protest. No problem when a stranger grinds on her from behind and says, "Just dancing, no faces," while putting his hand on her throat. No anxiety when said stranger starts sending dick pics and breaks into her fucking apartment. She thinks that’s sexy! No problem giving him her virginity—no protest, no issues, because she "feels seen." No anxiety going to restaurants or letting him fuck her in a back alley.

When does she finally panic? When he comes to her work and tells her they’re getting married. Then she has a full-on anxiety attack. He calls his mother to calm her down, where she proceeds to have another attack when she realizes he stalked her. Because, up until now, she didn't know that a man who breaks into your apartment is a bad thing? But when he wants to marry you, that's when you realize he could have killed you?

I could go on for pages, and I’m sure no one is even reading this rant anymore—even I’m bored. You could skip the chapters from Parker’s POV and not miss a single thing. Their relationship is so fucked up I had trouble understanding Wells; one moment he wants to break her, the next he wants to keep her, then he wants her until he’s bored, then she’s a "prize," then he’s upset his father chose her for him—not because he doesn't want her, but because the choice was taken from him. It’s the principle of it, damn it!

In the end, everybody sucks. I can’t believe there’s a sequel. We’re left on a cliffhanger, and now I have to decide if my curiosity will kill my remaining brain cells and force me to read Part 2. I stumbled into the audiobook because I was looking for narrations by Duncan Cole, who, unfortunately, could not make me like this disaster of a book.

If you love Hayley’s Bratva series you’ll love this new dark romance.
Wells sees Parker from a distance and knows he must have her. And he gets what he wants.
Parker k it’s nothing about Wells but Wells know everything g about Parker including who killed her parents when she was 6 years old.
It’s right up there with my favorite books I’ve read this year.

OMG, OMG, WOW 😳.

Tempting the Monster had this reader Tempting to go to the last chapter and read the outcome because I couldn't wait to see what happened next. But I was able to control myself ( just 😉 ) and read through each chapter as it came .

Gosh where do I begin on reviewing this book . ? . I had so many mixed emotions and questions and WTF moments it nearly made my head spin in a good way of course . 😊

Parker . She was a damaged, shy, anxiety filled beautiful woman who had a bad run at life . Her entire world as she knew it changed with the sounds of a bullet when she was six years old and it set her on a path that was filled with panic attacks, anxiety, low self esteem and OCD habits. Now aged 23 not much has changed except she's now seeking professional help. And the first time she visits the psychologist she bumps into a man who will change her world in so many ways she questions her own sanity.

Wells Hamilton.. dominant, bossy, borderline nut case , stalker and deadly.
He knows what he wants and doesn't care who he has to destroy to get it even if it means destroying the beauty that is Parker to have her all to himself and God help anyone who gets in his way he never loses he only wins .
So many twists and turns in this story things I didn't see coming and so many " WTF moments " that sometimes I had to stop reading because Wells Hamilton did my head in 🤦‍♀️ but then totally changed my opinion of him throughout each chapter .
Parker didn't have the emotional capacity to fend off Wells this was her first relationship first time being kissed , first time EVERYTHING .

Wells knew this and used her nativity to his advantage he wanted her and once he was done with her he was going to walk away . However the more time he spent stalking her , then eventually bedding her his cold black heart started to thaw and soon Parker was his everything..

Until she almost wasn't and that was when Wells lost his ever loving mind and brought down his wrath upon those who tried to take from him what was his , what he Owned. I couldn't put this book down and I can't wait to read the next book in this series and learn more about " The Family" and what happens next with Parker and Wells .

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the first book in the Midnight Stalkers Series. I will go ahead and warn you that if you love super obsessed over the top alpha males then you have come to the right place. This book has a stalker, the mafia, danger, moments that take your breath and is smoking heart. This is the story of Wells and Parker. She is a girl who has been damaged. She is shy, deals with anxiety and really hasn't had the best of luck in life so far. When she was six years old events changed everything and filled her with anxiety and fear and really messed with her self esteem and led to some OCD habits. Now she is twenty three and is finally getting the help that she desperately needs. Never in a million years did she think a thing as simple as going to the psychologist office would lead her into bumping into a man who is about to change her world as she knows it. Wells is deadly. A stalker who is bossy as all get out and loves to stalk. If he wants something you better get out of the way or he will destroy anything and everyone in his path to get what he wants. His sites are now set on Parker and he will have her if it is the last thing he does. Everyone better get out of the way. Poor Parker has no idea what is coming for her. I can't tell you anymore about this story. I will say that I spent a large amount of time one the edge of my seat. I was hooked and couldn't put this book down. There are so many twists and turns and things you will never see coming. Your opinion of Parker will change fifty times while reading this book. If you love your books dark twisted and dangerous do not miss this one.

What's not to love about this author?? Nothing. lol
She's a very versatile author and can manage to write a sweet book and the next one will be a dark and intense one... Yes yes yes.
Hayley Faiman is amazing and her books will leave you shaking and cursing while reading.
I know it because it happens to me every single time. lol
Tempting the Monster is her latest release and it's the first book from the Midnight Stalkers series.
This book explores the lives of Parker and Wells.
Parker's life changed dramatically on the day her parents were murdered.
After that, she has been living in constant fear, panic, and anxiety attacks.
When she crossed Wells path...
Wells is a man who knows what he wants and will do everything he needs to do, legal or not, to be able to get it.
He's not a heart and flowers type of man, he's as ruthless as they come, because working for the Familia, you are expected to be this way.
One look at Parker and he knew...
Jesus... Let's talk about a dark book.
This story kept me on edge the entire time because I was always expecting the other shoe to drop.
The level of angst as well as darkness is so thick that made me want to curl myself into a ball and scream.
Parker is a fragile girl, with lots of triggers and no backbone. She's living in constant fear.
And Wells... He's a bad man, but with her, he's attentive and moody.
Some scenes were hard to read but then the hot stuff would appear and Jesus... what scenes those were.
Overall it was another amazing book that I recommend everyone to read.
Another amazing book Hayley. I can't wait for the next book from this series to arrive.

I had a more detailed review but it got deleted by accident so I’ll just keep it brief (Ive given this enough of my time).
Really wanted to like this book! 😣
((My personal opinion))
Only positive I can think of is the writing wasn’t too bad. Confused at times but then I went to skimming the rest because I hated to characters with a passion. The story was just an explanation of how & why this “family” does what they do & with NO regard for anyone. Women are “prizes” given to the men (the ones they are told to marry - none of which is the women’s choice).

There’s so much wrong with the story. Absolutely ZERO ROMANCE. The MMC is an actual monster!!
I read dark romance all the time & he’s one of the worst POS I’ve read.
Despite MMC stalking her, claiming her & her virginity, once his father says he has to marry her, he doesn’t think he’s that into her. Even at about the 75% point, he is clear that he doesn’t know if he wants her now. Despite her never consenting to any of it, including marrying him. Around this point he even goes to hurt a man that flirted with her & gropes the receptionist that is aggressively flirting with her, saying he needed her cooperation (um no, she was a obviously throwing herself at him - pos!!)
Women are objects. They do not explain shit to them, they are not given choices & so obviously care nothing about how they feel.

MMC has ZERO growth.
FMC has ZERO growth (doormat & body betrayal at its finest - really sicken by how her mental health is treated - has serious anxiety with panic attacks & past trauma - that is laughed at & handled horribly for most of the book - including by her therapist which she learns is the MMC mom & is told to suck it up when having severe panic attack about being told she will marry him….the story just gets worse from there).
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This is the first book I've read by author Hayley Faiman. It is a dark romance. I loved it. Once I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. It is about a family that has an oath of a life for a life. The book is about Parker who suffers from fear and anxiety. She goes to see a psychologist in person to get help because the ones online aren't helping her. As she makes herself walk into Dr. Hamilton's office she gets knocked down by a man. She doesn't know who he is yet. The man that knocked her over happens to be Wells Hamilton that is the doctor's son. He becomes fascinated borderline obsessed with Parker. He starts watching her every chance he gets. Then he makes contact with her at a club but she never sees his face because they dance with her back to his front. After that he starts texting her until he gets so worked up he goes and visits her in the middle of the night. As you read you learn more and more about Parker and Wells. About their families and then there is a big bam shocker that hits you and you're like wow. The book contains triggers of violence, murder, rough sex, and a lot of sex and dirty talk. If you can't handle triggers this book is not for you. I loved it and can't wait until the next book in the Midnight Stalker series comes out about Wells brother.- Kristina

A wild and twisted ride that I thoroughly enjoyed!

This is the first book I ever read from this author and OMG I loved it. I have definitely added Hayley Faiman on my TBR list to binge now. So I don't know what it says about me but in spite of the numerous red flags that could be raised from the actions of Wells, this book was captivating, twisted and all consuming. The plot and characters were so intriguing that I couldn't put the book down. Although Wells' actions bordered on the side of crazy and stalkerish, I absolutely loved him! His dominant and possessive nature was so swoon worthy. In his own way he was very sweet and protective of Parker that you couldn't help but love him.
I empathized with Parker and the anxiety she experienced throughout, however she was fierce and dealt with everything like a true champion. The chemistry between Parker and Wells was off the charts hot and sizzling as well.
I enjoyed the side characters, Wells relationship with his brothers and family and Parker's friendship with Allison.
Although I would have liked Parker to question Wells a bit more on certain things and thought other things were left unexplained I absolutely enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one in the series.

Wells is the perfect moody antihero with all of the red flags. A total alpha male keeping a very close eye on our heroine, Parker.

This novel was swoon worthy all on its own; flowing flawlessly and written so well that I had no issue getting hooked on the storyline and how Wells honestly has no boundaries to his reach to get what he wants. So much so that poor Parker has whiplash and doesn’t have an inkling of how to feel.

The twists and turns within the pages of this novel were at times shocking and completely unexpected. The family drama and revelations within only pull you deeper into the story and more invested with the characters.

My only qualm is that the end could have been slower — the pace felt like it got away from itself and there was a little bit of a rushed feel. I would’ve liked more of the ‘normal’ between the two given their wild ways they met. Plus, her pet name? Cupcake is adorable, and so endearing.

I honestly can’t wait until the next novel releases.

Thank you Hayley and Wordsmith Publishing for the eArc!

Dark and twisted, this Family isn’t like any family you have ever known

Wells is part of a special family, not just the one that includes his parents and brothers, one that rules their world with special rules. A life for a life, it is what matters most, to Wells and all the men in his life. He is never distracted by women, until one crosses his path with eyes he cannot forget. Readers will be drawn in by the shockingly wicked actions of Wells and his Family. At the same time their seeming immorality has a very moral feel to it, for all his lack of concern for others, it is justice and protection over those he cares for most that drives him. When Parker, a woman who has been through so much in her short life, becomes part of that group in his mind, Wells will go to the ends of the earth to make sure she is always safe and taken care of. It is extremely easy to be drawn to this couple and their bizarre and intense relationship. I look forward to more from this series and Family!

Parker/Wells. Wells father runs the “mafia” although they refrain from calling it that and rather “The Family”. His mum is a therapist and whilst visiting her office he sees Parker who is being supported by his mum. Parker (is a V) has reoccurring dark dreams after the murder of her parents and grew up with her aunt and uncle. Inconspicuously, her therapist (and Wells mum) suspects it could be to do with “The Family”. Meanwhile, Wells breaks into his mums office due to his intrigue about Parker and begins to stalk her ie. Gets a key cut to her flat, buys the flat in the building opposite to watch her, grinds on her in a club without allowing her to see him. Things that annoyed me about this book - her constantly biting her “dry skin” on her lip & asking “why me” to the MMC ! Didn’t like the MMC, his only interest in the FMC was for sex - not book boyfriend vibes. I was desperate to know if the FMC ever finds out the secret that’s being kept from her but the second book follows a different couple so gave up.

A wild ride of secrets, power, and money

This is book one in the series and it is a wild ride of secret organizations, power, violence, and business transactions. Our lead female character, Parker, is broken her parents were murdered when she was six years old. She was raised by an aunt and uncle but they did the bare minimum. Parker has anxiety and other coping issues but she is improving and in therapy. Parker is brave enough to get an in person appointment for a therapist. Parker runs into the lead male character named Wells at her first appointment; that interaction is what causes a chain reaction. This was an accidental encounter but it will change Parker’s life. The overarching storyline will continue with the other brothers of Wells. I will say to mind your triggers because Wells and the men of the secret organization are dangerous, domineering, and cruel and there are some dub-con situations. Read On!!

Hayley Faiman is back with a brand new book and y'all, what a book this was. Talk about intensity to the max... Tempting the Monster hit me hard and fast and what a whirlwind read this was.

This new release gives us Parker and Wells story and I'm not sure I was fully prepared for this book or Wells.. all the man that he was, but I can tell you I wouldn't take back a single moment they had. This book was dark, intense, naughty af, had me all in my feels in a whole lot of ways and moments, and took me on an up and down rollercoatser ride that was thrilling, exciting, [did i mention] dark, hard, and murky.

I'm on pins and needles to read the next book in this series y'all. Gaaaaaahhhh. While not my usual cuppa at all 🥴🤪, I can make some allowances for Hayley.

I can't recommend this book enough yall.

OMG! Wow, I was astounded reading this book it was fantastic, the story was exhilarating and the characters were captivating. This story was about Parker and Wells, Wells is a hunk of a male, huge in the enjoyment area aswell. Wells and his family all have the same tattoo one that is through generations and will continue. He has been watching a female from a far and he wants her. Parker is a virgin and one with plenty of money after her parents died, her aunty and uncle tried to get her money. Parker has been seeing a shrink and tells the shrink she feels like someone is watching her stalking her. There was so much emotions throughout this book with twist and turns and with the chemistry it was the heat of two combustibles.

This is the first in a new series, and my word, what a mindblowing story this is! Parker suffers from anxiety and fear, and she has an appointment with a new psychologist, and is knocked over by a man that came bowling out of the doctor’s office, and he is Wells, the doctor’s son. Wells becomes fascinated and obsessed with Parker.
This is a well written action packed, dark romance, with family, drama, revelations, violence, murder, emotions, and undeniable chemistry, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and addictive page turner.
Be aware of the trigger warning due to the sensitive content!
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Ok we start off with slaughter and big egos. No real explanation of this "family" except they sound like prize douchebags and the women all sound like self-loathing sluts. Then we have one of the big ego douchebags refer to the idiot FL as cupcake - he's supposedly in his late 20s or something and I haven't heard cupcake since my grandpa died (like I wish the characters in this book would have) I seriously had to look at the publication date cause this sounded like it was written in the 80s. Couldn't finish this crappy book, but enough to know it's not a series I have any interest in. I read this author's OTT biker silly romance books cause they're free on KU & at least some of them have had a decent storyline, but this shit definitely hit the fan and it stinks!

I just read Haylee's book for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The main characters, Parker and Wells, were both amazing. Parker was so sweet, innocent and shy while Wells was the perfect alpha male that every woman dreams of. The writing was really great and I got sucked into the story after just a couple of pages.

However, I did feel like the ending was a bit rushed. From about 80% onwards, everything seemed to happen too quickly. Maybe it's because the story is going to continue in the next book, but I really would have liked to see a few more chapters about Parker and Wells being a cute couple.

What a beginning to a new series! Damn!
If you are in need of a dark obsessed hero who craves and obsesses over the heroine then look no further. Wells and Parker may not make sense in the "real" world, BUT in this world they are perfect for each other. The shy anxiety ridden Parker is the temptation that Wells probably most certainly shouldn't crave. A chance meeting flips a switch in Wells and well what can I say as the rest is history. What can I say besides opposites do attract! The twist and turns will have you reading this book and craving more by the end. Looking forward to the next one!

This is the 1st book in the Midnight Stalker series featuring the dark and twisted intense tale of obsession between Wells and Parker. Once Wells sees Parker he knows that he has to have her and that he'll do anything to have her he's completely obsessed with her. Parker is drawn to Wells despite the red flags she's instantly captivated by him and they definitely have chemistry together. The twists and turns in this book will blow your mind and I'm really looking forward to the next book in this incredible series!.

Fun Darkish St@lker Story

Sooo the MMCs form of courtship:
👌🏾He sees her.
👌🏾St@lks her
👌🏾 Buys an apt across the street to spy on her.
👌🏾 j3rks off to his p33ping Tom act.
👌🏾Breaks into her dwelling 😛 the kitty.

Some twists and turns in the ploy with a fire romance burn. The smex scenes were delish but it all boiled down to a family doing Mafia level ish (Mafia with a twist) liking their brides to be pure as a reward for being crimin@ls for the family at young teen age and so the MMC decided "hey. I'm going to keep her. She can be mine." Some of the plot was like huh but did I enjoy the ride, yes! Did I enjoy the MMC, yes! Did I enjoy the smut, yes! It's amazing

This author never fails to bring it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. and she's done it again in Tempting The Monster. This fantastic stalker, obsessive, possessive romance is Wells and Parkers story. Wells comes across Parker in the most unlikely place. Of course to Parker it was all seemingly innocent....... until it wasn't. Wells can't stay away, can't stop watching and ultimately can't live without her. This story has great twists and turns and surprises that will have you wondering where that came from. Tempting The Monster is a dark read so pay attention to the trigger warnings before you read it.
