These books are just fun to mess play with! Especially if you have a good sense of humor for the silliness that this book is.

Ne ho sentito parlare, ho visto foto, video, letto articoli e miliardi di altre cose su di esso, e ho deciso di comprarlo. Incuriosita non solo dal libro, ma anche dall'autrice (Keri Smith) ho acquistato una scatola, Do Not Open This Box, che contiene quattro dei suoi libri (Wreck This Journal, This is Not a Book, The Pocket Scavenger e Mess). È stata una rivelazione. Ogniqualvolta avessi del tempo libero, afferravo uno di quei libri, aprivo una pagina a caso, e facevo qualsiasi cosa ci fosse scritta di fare. Mi sono ritrovata nelle più strane delle situazioni: ad attaccare pezzetti di carta con frasi e scarabocchi con vicino una scritta che diceva "OPERA D'ARTE EDIZIONE LIMITATA: GRATIS!"; a raccogliere sassolini e ad attaccarli con lo scotch alle pagine; a chiedere a degli sconosciuti di scrivere o disegnare qualcosa sul libro; e mille altre cose. Insomma, è un'esperienza meravigliosa. Vi consiglio di acquistarlo: vi ritroverete a passare intere giornate a fare cose che non avreste mai immaginato di fare!

I've heard talking a lot about it, I've seen photos, videos, read articles everywhere so that I decided to give it a try. I was really intrigued by the book but by the author as well so I decided to buy the box that had 4 books in it (Wreck This Journal, This is Not a Book, The Pocket Scavenger and Mess). It was a revelation, really. The first spare ten minutes I had, I grabbed a book, flicked to a random page, and did whatever it said to do. I found myself in the stangest situations, like scribbling and writing on pieces of paper and then taping them around with a sign that said: "ART PIECE LIMITED EDITION: FREE!"; picking up little stones and gluing them to the pages; asking strangers to write or draw on the book; and billions other wonderful things. It was truly amazing. I think you should buy it, you won't regret it, I swear, you'll find yourself doing thing you've never imagined you'd do!
