When Alister uncovers a hidden dungeon, Matthew takes a chance to bury the hatchet with his enemy. Still, Dunnishire lost much of it’s settled areas in wars over the last century. With the power to cross the country, Matthew envisions not only a portal network, but also a network of dreams—a school, and an orphanage. This time, trouble finds Matthew, Neera, Alana, and Princess on Earth. Hoping to stay ahead of the wave of problems that follow them, they still run the dungeon to progress and grow their stats and levels... all the while enjoying a nice Duke’s Own hamburger from their favorite tavern.
Should the challenges be too tough, Matt encounters an unexpected twist while visiting a new barony. Confronted with a pivotal choice, he faces the possibility of disrupting the stability he’s starting to find, or embarking on a path towards unimaginable wealth and opportunities. Embracing uncertainty, Matthew forges ahead on his journey in A Game of Two Worlds.
What this book is : A fantasy LitRPG/GameLit progression based storyline. There are grownups in this book who act like grownups. They drink, they curse, they make bad jokes, they fall in love. What’s not in this book? Sex scenes. Graphic or otherwise. There are plenty of jokes and innuendo about it, however.

Book two
I know that I'm usually pretty hard on harem books, but that is normally because the sex adds nothing to the story and all the characters just become interchangeable cardboard cutouts of each other.
This, in my opinion, is harem done right. The sex is just hinted at, without the graphic detail. There is plenty of flirting and play. Yet each character has remained their own person.
And to me anyway, it's more about building a family with a good solid foundation.
You should never be able to just interchange one for another so that you lose what makes each character special.
To me this series has done an excellent job of keeping each character special.
I would love more dungeon running and Kingdom building.
I did find a couple of mistakes that I have posted on Goodreads.
No I haven't found it yet on Royalroad or anywhere else.
There is one more book published in this series at the time of this review.

Not sure if I'll continue
The book isn't badly written, in fact I don't really remember any misspellings or grammar errors.
But the plot hasn't really been that engaging, there were two things that could have been the major conflict of this book and both of them were just kind of brushed over. One of them felt like it was only put in there to once again show how good of a guy the MC is, even though he threatens to beat up anyone who even raises their voice to him. Then the other was tagged on at the very end of the book, and seemed like it was only placed there to add another member to his harem.

Loved it
I liked book 1, but I liked this book more. I only had one small issue with some of the story, but that's more of a me thing than a problem with the story. It really is an enjoyable litrpg harem combination. The story is pretty original. It doesn't remind me of anything I've read before, and that's pretty rare in the genre. I'm looking forward to book 3.

Really draws you in
So good I was actually surprised by the last page. Editing was well done just a few confusing paragraphs and only one due to spelling.
Epilogue was too perfect. All issues handled everyone in a safe place and future issues hinted about. I say to perfect because these tenants were so well handled that as stated the end of the book was a surprise.

This book was OK, but it was a significant step down from the previous book. My biggest gripes are the LitRPG tropes that the author really leaned into for this book. The protagonist is smart and amazing, everyone else is dumb and boring. The protagonist thinks up the most basic of life improvements from his prior life experiences and everyone else acts like he's the second coming.
It's still a decent read, but you have to be willing to overlook major tropage. Also, this book introduces a harem element that wasn't really present in the first one. That is a turn-off for some, so worth mentioning here.

Still pretty cookie cutter.
This has taken a turn into a cheap harem novel. The unoriginal characters and tepid storyline sets mediocre at best, but the harem addition is bland enough to knock down the rating. This has gone from predictable to boring and predictable.

decent story
Liked the book overall, but not a huge fan of harems. Also, the guy just rolls over for the women in his life. Absolutely no backbone.

Great story. I was loving the comedy and build up on events but I'm DNFing.
It's the harem thing. It should be included in the warning but whatever.

A great continuation of the series
Simply put, if you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one. It is simply a fun read.
