Notes: Pop-in-pop-out returns about (it's guest star overstock), short of spark if super-dark: all jump-scare/gross-out shocks.

Just when you think the book can't get darker, it does. Hine has morphed this into something of a Vertigo book, especially when tied in with the darker, less cartoony artwork. First Sam and Twitch investigate an apartment building where tenants keep going crazy and murder people. Then Nyx returns and we learn more about Al's past. The more we find out though, the bigger dirtbag it turns out he was. The best thing that happened to him was becoming Spawn.
